Sequential Circuits Six Trak Stack Mode Sound

video upload by Rush Sound Design

"One of the best features of the Six Trak is the Stack Mode (the ability to stack 6 different sounds to make it a six voice mono monster synth). Not many videos out there showing off this feature, so i thought i'd make a demo (short and sweet) with one of my favourite stack sounds.

The six sounds on this particular one have the same tone, but they have different tunings (voices 1,2,3 are the same, voices 4 and 5 tuned a fifth higher, voice 6 a 4th higher). The result is a very rich and powerful lead sound.

Software effects used - Soundtoys Super Plate and Roland Juno 60 chorus
The backing percussion is from the Roland V Synth."

"So Dreadbox hired me to demo Telepathy Bundle: A very interesting polysynth, made up of 6 monosynth modules working together via MIDI. Each voice can be slightly (or VERY) different to one another...all fed into a unique mixer. For details on how Telepathy or setup works please RTFM - in this video I'll focus on making sounds!"

At The Mana Tree - Rainy Forest Village Loop (Ambient Fantasy Loop)

video upload by Yuki The Synth Dr

"Just an ambient fantasy loop I made. I use the Novation Peak with its build in effects. I use the Arturia Minifreak with the Strymon Brig and Cloudburst. The Elektron Model:Samples is being used for the rain effect playback. The rain samples are from 'SoundsForYou'. Use this track for D & D campaign BGM / background music or for what ever. I do not authorize use in ai training."

Korg MS-50 Autoplay #1: part 3/5 | sequential patch #korgms50

video upload by Dr. Kunz

"Third part of a sequential patch with VCO and VCF cross-modulation, combined modulation voltages, rhythmic pulses and two independent audio outputs. Different level settings in the Adding Amplifier can produce a variety of patterns from the combination of two envelope curves and a pulse, displayed on the voltmeter. The remaining free modules can be integrated to further expand the patch complexity.
This video is a fraction of an hour long experiment around this patch, I've shortened and divided it in five parts to make it more accessible. The wiring is presented at the beginning of each video.
Thanks to @IppeiTambata for his inspirational looping machines.

Effects: Yamaha SPX-90II stereo echo, Korg SDD-3000 short modulated delay, some level and eq adjusting on the Mackie 1402.

''The live performance, though different from my usual style, turned out to be an exhilarating experience perfectly tailored for the stage event. The atmosphere was electric, and the new headquarters provided a unique backdrop that added an extra layer to the performance. Exploring a different musical direction for this event will allow new listeners to connect with me in a fresh and exciting way.'' - Insider"

Natural Gate by Rabid Elephant | It's REALLY good. But why?

video upload by Cinematic Laboratory

"The NG is often considered as the best sounding LPG you can get - if your fortunate, lucky and patient. It's analog, but it doesn't use a natural vactrol decay because it can ring much longer thanks to the Decay slider. I guess the term 'natural' applies more to the physical properties of hitting something soft, hard, slow or fast, where the materials and pitch also matter. A classic LPG has a static hit, but DXG is advertised as dynamic. To get the most out of our not-so-natural LPG's, it's cool to demystify these physical properties and try to patch them up so we'll understand them better. They can make a lot of difference. So this is not going to be a 'look what I got' video because it doesn't help anybody. There's a big section about advanced envelope patching with Maths and Optomix to add physical properties like pitch dependent decay and strike intensity. But it's not easy, and it doesn't sound as natural as the NG.

When I was hooked on Optomix, I 'protected' myself from non-vactrol LPGs like the NG and the SSF SSG. I often said, if it doesn't have vactrols, it's not an LPG. I've been biased and prejudiced and it happens to all of us from time to time, considering the endless analog vs digital discussion. Technology serves a result, and when the result is excellent, it's great technology. I've been expecting wonders from the NG and in the confined realm of classic LPG's it really delivers. But I am not sure if it can compete with the fun that comes with a module like the SSG. The NG is one of the very best. But the best one is the one that helps you make the music you love most. Honestly, I think the SSG will serve more genres and styles.

The African track is composed and performed by me when I was still in the box and used NI Maschine a lot. It's named after the expansion pack 'Global Shake'."

Mingles - Dual Autopanner and Dual 3 Channel Mixer/VCA || After Later Audio + Robots Are Red.

video upload by Robots Are Red

"Mix a synth patch and use Mingles as the VCA.
Blend a signal between two different outputs.
Autopan a mono signal.
Stereoize even more, an already stereo signal.

Mingles is a 12hp Dual 3 Input Mixer with attenuators for each signal, and a large panning knob for each of the two channels. There is a stereo output for each of the two channels, and a mixed stereo output of both channels. There is an internal LFO (Triangle or Pulse) that can be applied to each of the two channel’s panning. The LFO is inverted on channel 2 to allow for mirrored panning between the two channels.

There is also a VCA and external panning CV input in each of the two channels, along with a CV input for control of the LFO rate, and there is an LFO output.

The LFO can be switched between Triangle and Pulse waves with a jumper on the back of the module.

A huge thanks to After Later Audio for helping make this idea I had over 2 years ago a reality!

VIP Mixer Series - Bartender, Barback, and Send VCA | After Later Audio | Full Demo and Walkthrough

video upload by Robots Are Red

"Bartender is a 24hp 4 Channel Expandable Stereo Performance Mixer. There are two stereo sends, DJ cue headphone out, stereo and mono master output, stereo/mono switch for each input, post/pre sends, 3 way mute switch with momentary mute, panning, and cv control over pan and the level VCA. You can also expand a Bartender with another Bartender!

Barback is a 10hp 2 Channel Stereo Mixer Expander module for Bartender. Connect them together on the back of the modules and add 2 extra stereo channels with send/return accessibility to your mix.

Send VCA gives you CV control over the Send VCA. When connected, the Send VCA CV inputs will open up the send VCA all the way to the max limit set by each send knob.

All three modules are available now and can be found at After Later Audio’s website:
