Roland Ocean
video upload by Memetune Studio
"This is a live performance on the Roland SH5 using my newly formed "concrete" box. The box has 4 loopers, 3 delays, a granular pitch shifter, a filter, 2 compressors, a stereo FX AID unit based on the Spin FV1 chip and an O'Tool monitor
The patch uses 2 loopers, 1 delay and the FX AID
It builds up a bit like the swell of the ocean on a rainy day"
Jupiter 4 : Ring Modulator : Spring Reverb : Sound Exploration with the Warm Audio Ringer Bringer
video upload by Luke Million
"Ever wondered what a Jupiter-4 sounds like through a Ring Modulator and a Spring Reverb?
Well I did and made some cool, fun sounds ranging from subtle to outrageous.
The Roland Jupiter-4 is connected to a Warm Audio Ringer Bringer, an Echo Fix Spring Reverb and that passes through a Franklin Audio DI-20 before hitting my Universal Audio Apollo Twin.
This video is part of my Sunday Sessions Series where I create improvised Jams that will form the basis for future tracks."
This appears to be the first post to feature the Warm Audio Ringer Bringer. Some info below.
"REVIVING AN AVANT-GARDE PEDAL FOR MUSIC’S TRAILBLAZERS
From light Lo-Fi modulation all the way to the piercing sound of infinity ring-modulation, the Warm Audio RingerBringer accurately recreates the ultimate all-analog ring modulation effect used for experimental tones. Like the original, loved by artists like Jeff Beck, Radiohead, Omar Rodríguez-López, Trent Reznor, and many more, RingerBringer delivers the original distinct set of controls, extensive in/out options, and rich sonic textures to inspire boundless sonic experimentation.
DON’T JUST PLAY, CREATE
The ideal platform for the sonic tinkerer, RingerBringer inspires you to generate layered frequencies and harmonics, explore a wide range of sonic possibilities for guitar, bass, synthesizers & beyond, and design your own sounds from the ground up. Extensive controls including LFO, MOD, FREQ (FREQUENCY) & RATE open up sonic possibilities that range from subtle overdriven textures all the way to wobbling, warped leads soaked in texture and tone. RingerBringer is 100% analog and sports premium components including hand-selected op-amps and transistors. RingerBringer is no emulation or 'patch', instead it delivers true-to-spec performance of the boutique, analog original."

Album with Make Noise only - Fracture #08 Live Performance
video upload by Anton Anru
"🎆 Fractures is the result of a series of experiments with the Make Noise modular trio: 0-Coast, Strega, and 0-Ctrl. This combination of instruments is perfectly suited for generative ambient music, where hypnotic repetition merges with expression and dynamic movement.
💽 I recorded a 10-track album using only three Make Noise devices and VST effects. All tracks were recorded live in a single take, with no additional editing. Each piece is built around a sequenced pattern and a complex patch that evolves continuously, shaped manually in real time.
The album is available on all streaming platforms.
➕ SoundCloud: / fractures
➕ Bandcamp:
The album explores a wide emotional range — from brighter, more uplifting moments to darker, more noise-driven textures — offering a diverse sonic journey shaped by the raw, living nature of modular synthesis.
📒 I also have patches for Make Noise and other synthesizers: https://antonanru.sellfy.store/
🎛 Lately, I’ve been more interested in working with simpler forms rather than complex arrangements in DAW. Semi-modular synths are perfect for this approach. In this case, the arrangement is the patch itself. If it’s well thought out, you can easily play a full track in a specific genre—like ambient or techno—using just that one patch.
📝 I’m curious to hear your thoughts—does this kind of format immerse you in a certain mood or evoke a specific emotion? Or does the sound feel too experimental and harder to connect with?
I’d really appreciate any feedback. Enjoy listening!"

"The mighty powerful DSI Pro 2. I replaced the keyboard with eurorack rails to take advantage of its cv I/O and sequencer. Expands both the pro 2 and your eurorack exponentially and can do some pretty cool stuff!
I fastened a deopfer passive psu bus on the base of the key bed and have been powering with an external linear supply but could be powered just as easily with euro psu (tiptop uzeus etc)"

"functionnal demo of this Wersi Wersimatic analog drum and accompaniment unit I just serviced. It's very like other units of that era like the Elgam Carousel, Elka Wilgamat or Godwin Drummaker.
You get 24 rhythm patterns that can all be combined and 12 accompaniment patterns that can also all be combined and these consist of an arpeggio (with a selection of 2 sounds: piano and spinet), a walking bass and a chord (with a selection of 3 sounds: piano, spinet and guitar). You can manually play chords or play 'one-fingered' chord and then you have the option to alter the chords (Min, 7th and Diminished).
On the drum you have the option to alternate 2 patterns. Note that one of the pattern should have a dot under its name and the second should not, otherwise these pattens won't alternate but combined. You can actually alternate between groups of combined dotted patterns and undotted patterns (i do this towards the end of the video).
Other nice features includes mute switches for most of the sound (unfortunately not for the Hi Hat and Cymbal), snare roll, drum fill, stereo output (demo was recorded in mono output plugged into a Dynacord VRS23 for reverb).
These units can also very easily be moddified (indivual outputs, trigger input, clock input etc)"

The Secretive History of Pop Music's Favorite Vocoder | Sennheiser VSM201
video upload by HAINBACH
"Kraftwerk, Jean-Michelle Jarre and Daft Punk are among the artists that used the rare Sennheiser VSM201 Vocoder from 1977. It is one of the very best examples of its kind, as its 16 bands allow both for high voice intelligibility and experimental tomfoolery. Yet there is also a history behind it that is still so secret, Sennheiser are still not allowed to talk in detail about it. Thanks to Sennheiser for allowing me access to their archives and the prototype.

📼 '80s reloaded: Roland VP-03 and the allure of the classic vocoder
video upload by SICK FOR SYNTHS
"Discover the Roland Boutique VP-03, the compact vocoder that recreates the legendary Roland VP-330, a key player in electronic music from the '70s and '80s. Used by artists such as Vangelis, Human League, and Laurie Anderson, this instrument defined the sound of an era with its 16-band vocoder, synthetic strings, and ethereal choirs. In this video, we'll explore how the VP-03 works, listen to its vintage sounds, and discover how Roland has captured the magic of a classic in a pocket-sized format.
Perfect for those who love retro synths, cinematic sounds, and the aesthetic of vintage electronics, the VP-03 is a unique instrument for bringing the charm of '70s and '80s productions back to life."

M8 Tracker Model:02 solo performance : Stagnation 2025-09-14 by atnr
video upload by atnr
"Ambient electronica created with the @Dirtywave M8 Tracker Model:02.
The track is composed entirely using the M8’s built-in sampler and synths. The main sustaining pad was made with Hypersynth, with each part’s tone evolving through filter modulation."
Maciek Polak "Remaining exercises For Synthi AKS Solo"
video uploads by analogia pl
"In 2016 and 2017, while working on the debut album for my band Pin Park, I recorded a few hundred tracks. Around 200 survived the first cut, and that number was eventually trimmed down to 50. These recordings were literally rescued by Marcin Bociński from legatomastering.pl after I had forgotten about them for quite some time.
The setup I used was extremely limited: an EMS Synthi AKS (occasionally a VCS3), an EMS Vocoder 100, and three Boss pedals (looper, reverb, and distortion). Everything was recorded onto a low-quality Zoom device running through a substandard mixer. Each track was captured in a single take with no overdubs, which meant there was no real possibility for mixing. Marcin’s mastering work was nothing short of amazing, bringing these raw recordings to life.
In 2018, Apekwolf Records released 14 of these tracks. The remaining 36 were never made available—until now. Enjoy!"
