"Pro Synth Network is proud to announce our very first live event, Synth South West, in the picturesque seaside town of Dawlish, on March 21st, 2026.

Nestled on the Devonshire coast, and easily accessible by both road and rail (or boat for the adventurous!). Dawlish will provide a beautiful backdrop to our maiden event.

During the day, there will be a synth expo at The Strand Centre, featuring synth manufacturers, enthusiasts and performers. In the evening, we move across the road to The Shaftsbury Theatre for an evening of electronic music with some of the most talented live performers within our community.

Our headline act is Dave Bessell, one quarter of synth supergroup NODE! We also have a rare performance from Film & TV composer, Ty Unwin and flying in from the USA, Mr Spiral, aka Dr Mike Metlay. And our very own Peter James Stephen will be kicking the evening off!

"This is a live session with some of my favourite synthesisers at the moment. The slow noise is a noise generator into Frap Tools Fumana filterbank, modulated by a Pam's Pro Workout and effected by Empress Euroburo Zoia and Strymon Starlab. The rhythmic noise is a sequenced patch on the Sequential Pro 2 through a Boss SL20 slicer. The Moog Muse is playing a slow pattern arpeggio through an Eventide Modfactor and on top of that I play the Prophet 12 through an Eventide H9 (blackhole algoritm).

This is an unedited take on what I usually do in my studio to relax. Usually it is never recorded. But as it is friday, and a new year has started, let's just do it a bit different, ey?

Outside we have more snow than I ever experienced here in Denmark, so the music kind of reflects that cold but cosy mood.

I hope you enjoy it."

"This piece was created using the ‪@SequentialLLC‬ Prophet-10, ‪@YamahaSynthsOfficial‬ CBX-K1XG, and CP-88. It is a composition where a waltz-like triple-meter beat supports layered synth leads and piano performance.

The Prophet-10 is processed through the ‪@strymon‬ NIGHTSKY, applying reverb and filtering.
Its distorted synth lead sound is played in unison with the CBX-K1XG.

On the CBX-K1XG, a choir timbre is used, further enhanced with additional synth-lead character via ‪@ChaseBlissAudio‬ LOST+FOUND.

The CP-88 is used to perform the piano parts.
Other elements, including harmonies and rhythmic components, are constructed within the DAW."

Legendary dual-manual analog polysynth featuring two independent 5-voice Prophet engines for layered, split, or stacked sounds. Delivers the classic Prophet tone with rich VCOs, resonant filters, snappy envelopes, and hands-on control.

Both keybeds have been professionally restored: bushings replaced and lubricated, contact bars cleaned, J-wires realigned, and keys fully cleaned. Fully tested—both manuals play evenly and respond correctly. On the top left corner there is residue left over from an adhesive Velcro strip that can easily be removed, and the prophet logo on the front panel was touched up by someone. These can be seen in the photos. Some other light cosmetic wear but nothing serious."

The CP-88 is used to play piano with its built-in delay and reverb.

On the CBX-K1XG, string sounds are performed and processed through ‪@ChaseBlissAudio‬ LOST+FOUND, adding reverb and delay.

The Moog One plays soft, low-attack synth pads with a generous amount of reverb applied via its master effects.

The Nord Lead provides additional synth pad layers, processed with reverb using the ‪@gfisys‬ Specular Tempus.

As the layered synthesizer sounds gradually overlap and fade away, the piano weaves through the space, filling the gaps between them."

It is an ambient electronica composition built from piano sounds, everyday noises, and noise-infused synth pads.

On the Prophet-10, noise-tinged synth pads are performed while reverb is applied using the ‪@strymon‬ blueSky.

The noise box is connected to ‪@ChaseBlissAudio‬ LOST+FOUND, where delay and reverb are added.
The noise box itself includes springs, kalimba-like metal plates, and steel bars, which generate physical and metallic textures.

On the tape player, a one-minute endless tape contains a pre-recorded piano performance.
While the tape is playing, delay is applied using the ‪@strymon‬ TIMELINE. Toward the end of the piece, the delay feedback is increased to create a lingering resonance."

Dub Techno / Dub Ambient liveset - Home Concert 78

"For the first Home Concert of 2026 I recorded a liveset with Dub Ambient and Dub Techno music. The set starts with three Dub Ambient tracks in the 80bpm range. Followed by two faster Dub Techno tracks featuring sounds from the Super-6 and Oberheim OB6. The sets closes with a slower Dub Techno track with washy chords from the Roland Juno 60. The music of this set is exclusively available here on Youtube until I finish the productions and can upload the music to Bandcamp and the streaming services.

All music was created by a (cat assisted) human. No AI tools were involved in the production of the music and artwork.
