"Sounds of the TS-30X Analog Drum Synthesizer for Kontakt by Leisure Class Audio. All sounds created with the TS-30X. Available now at leisureclassaudio.com"
"CLASSIC INSPIRATION. LEISURE CLASS INNOVATION.
The ambitious first instrument from Leisure Class Audio expands on the original Techstar line of drum synthesizers with new features, new drums, and greater flexibility.
The TS-30X Analog Drum Synthesizer is a 9 module drum synthesizer based on the TAMA Techstar TS-305 and TS-306 analog drum synthesizers of the 1980s. Similar to the Simmons and Pearl units of the time, the Techstar line provided all the glorious synthesized drums one could want in a similar package but with a trademark aggression that set it apart from the others.

"This is the 80's Tama Techstar TAM500, Tama's answer to the Simmons (most similar to the Simmons SDS8 in function and form factor). This unit is in good cosmetic shape with just a few scratches (mainly the one in the final picture seen above). Functionally, it all works, except the Attack sound (short adjustable burst of noise at the top of the note) does not fire on Tom 3... the Attack works fine on all other drum channels. Other than that, it is fully tested and functional."

"Just got this Tama Techstar TSQ1000 drum trigger. Bought it at an auction, and it wasn't guaranteed to work. Seems to work nicely though. Here triggering my Pearl DRX-1 synth drums."
"Video description of the Tama Techstar TS306 analog drum synthesizer. This is a vintage '80's unit with a host of character and control that makes it still an interesting and creative piece of gear in a modern electronic music setup. And you can buy this exact unit only on Reverb.com ;-)"
"This listing is for the full Tama TS-305 kit including all 5 drum pads and drum stands.
The TAMA TS-305 is a 6 channel drum synth module. It can be used as a desktop module or a massive 7u 19" Rackmount. Each channel is a mini analogue synth drum module, capable of producing a wide range of electronic drum sounds, and since every parameter is defined by a knob, it's highly tweakable.
Modules on the TS-305 are: SNARE / RIM SHOT / TOM 1 - 3 & BASSDRUM
Each channel has 10 controls (9 knobs & 1 switch).
From the looks of it, it is designed with the Drummer in mind - to be used with Electronic Drum Kit triggers.
It looks very similar to the Simmons SDS-8 Drum Brain.
All the drum tones are actually individual analogue drum synths."
