Pulse, square, triangle, and sawtooth waves
Glide
2 LFOs with pulse, square, saw, triangle and ramp shapes
Attack / Decay
Low-pass filter
Sample and Hold
Manual gate trigger (can be locked on)

Mellotronics Streetlytron Pro : Space Oddity
Mellotronics Streetlytron Pro : Space Oddity from Ramones Karaoke on Vimeo.
"Inspired by seeing Rick Wakeman actually play the Mellotron part on TV this week - that bloke is funny - I figured I had to have one more shot at 'Wakeman Replacement'. So, grabbing the stems of Space Oddity from the 40th anniversary release EP, and streaming some MIDI wirelessly at my iPad from my Mac, I got this result. Pretty authentic, although I'm not entirely convinced that these chords and inversions are right - Rick's hands seemed lower down the keyboard when he was bashing through it on telly.
Heck, where's Wakeman when you need him?"

Moog Grandmother - Afternoon Jam 001
Published on Feb 10, 2019 Long Bright Dark
"Jamming with Moog Grandmother and Push 2. Just playing around with an idea of a song I´m making called "In your Arms". Vocal loop prerecorded a couple of days ago. The moog is the first real synth for me, really fun to start exploring the infinite possibilities. Enjoy."
Quick Tip: Kick Drum Eurorack Modular Synthesizer Patch Tutorial
Published on Feb 12, 2019 Perfect Circuit
"Here is a quick tip on how to make a kick drum with a eurorack modular synthesizer.
You will need:
- a trigger source (clock or sequencer)
- two envelope generators (snappy exponential ones)
- a VCO (voltage controlled oscillator)
- a VCA (voltage controlled amplifier)
The patch:
- trigger source to trigger input of both envelope generators
- envelope generator 1 output to VCA CV control
- envelope generator 2 output to VCO 1v/oct input
- VCO audio out to VCA audio input
- audio output of VCA is your kick drum
To start set the VCO pitch very low, even subsonic, use sine or triangle waves for mellow kicks and saws or squares for distorted sounding gabber kicks.
Tweak your envelopes to get countless variations of kick drums. Use more exponential envelopes for punchier drums, or add a little bit of attack to the VCA envelope to mellow out the attack of the drum. Attenuate the amount of the pitch envelope to go from lazer beam drum to a droning drum. Try a fast pitch envelope and a slow amplitude envelope for a long 808 style kick.

Skyline Forty Nine P Synth/Organ Teardown
You can find the full teardown on Kris Lennox's Music, Arts & Culture here. Also see the Skyline label below for additional posts here on MATRIXSYNTH.
"I recently picked up a Skyline Forty-Nine P. More of an electric organ than a synth, but worth a look nonetheless.
Numerous photos below of the innards (plus the service manual).
A stand was also included, but I haven't taken photos of it.
The instrument is quite big - I haven't measured it yet, but it looks almost exactly the same size as the Matrixbrute. Being 49-key, the size is going to be similar - but the main panel (metal) is bigger than I imagined it would be."
Jexus is on Patreon

For those of you that would like to support Jexus and maybe see some new videos from him, he is now on Patreon. This was sent my way via Anatoly with the following:
"Hello. I've noticed that Jexus opened the Patreon account. https://www.patreon.com/jexus
That's what he wrote:
'I'm alive,
Hi there. So I'm making this experiment with Patreon. Please read my entry at:
http://syntezatory.net.pl/wcog_synth_patches.htm
to get the full story (well, the full FULL story will be updated soon, in February)'.
'Uh, I don't necessarily want to get $1300 per month, I want to get around $1300 for a new synth that you choose in a poll. How do I change that? On the other hand, if at least 1300 people would pledge to give me $1 per month, I think I could quit my job and just do synths'.
I don't think it's scam, as the link published on his YouTube channel."
P.S. if you aren't familiar with Jexus, see this mini documentary on him, followed by some videos by him here.
