"3D Audio mixing with the prototype of „Quasar“, our new module! The LFO/CV modulates the azimuth (=angle). In1 is a vocal, In2 is a synth voice. Changing parameters such as height, distance and room amount manually."
"Sneak preview for our new module! „Quasar“ is a binaural 3D audio mixer which lets your sounds move around your head. All parameters are CV mappable, e.g. angle, height and distance, but also parameters of the powerful internal matrix mixer. With its big aluminum knobs and led rings it is not only shiny but also fun to use 😉
Visit us at #superbooth in a few days to check it out!"
"In this video I look at the Behringer Wasp Deluxe and try out a few sounds. I've also prepared a download file of, which you are free to use in your own work.

"Here's a video of Seb and me performing our modular setup in rehearsal for our "Gesprächskonzert" at Superbooth on Wednesday, Sept 15th 2021.
Rhythmic components are created using our upcoming Wiretap module to turn CV sequences into triggers, gates and envelopes. Sequences are created using CVilization in Mode III - Quad Mucorder, partly by mutating sequences and by dubbing new notes on the fly."
"Noise Plethora sends two filtered noises to Percall.
Muxlicer + MEX run the show, triggering percall and kickalls.
Morphader has Kickalls in one side and Plethora in the other, to achive the "only bass" scene and then go back to the mix of all.
Kickalls provide extra audio lines.
Lich is running Stoke patch, sending audio and random CVs:

"We are ready for superbooth and super excited to announce we will be presenting two new modules! We are located in one of the outside tents, table Z190 Please pass by if you are around for a talk and take a look to the new babies!
The big one is noise plethora, a three channel noise module with a selector of type of noise. Each channel has an analog multi mode filter to allow shaping the noise to get from hats sounds, to harsh glitches and textures.
This module will release first week of November at a final price of 350€ (Taxes included)
The second module. MEX, is a trigger expander for Muxlicer! It adds a new line of gates to Muxlicer's sequence, where you can choose to turn off the step, output same number of gates as muxlicer, or sending just one. A very simple concept, that provides great flexibilty! And greatest thing: you can daisy chain them so you can add as many as desired!!
This module will release last week of October at a final price of 85€ (after taxes)"
"Belgian manufacturer Shakmat presents two new modules at Superbooth 21 - their first VCO, the Banshee Set, and a quite peculiar modulation source called the Mod Medusa !
Banshee Set
The Banshee Set is a powerful 8hp analog VCO with varishape and thru zero FM/PM capabilities. The varishape output provides a continuously variable waveform morphing into a sine, a triangle, a saw and a square wave which are crossfaded with a sub octave generator. The triangle core of the VCO is normalized to the shape CV input which yields very peculiar waveforms. The Banshee proves to be a great companion for your FM duties as a carrier or as a modulator thanks to its thru zero FM / PM input and soft sync capabili- ties. The Banshee also serves as a flexible modula- tion source as it can go into LFO range !
Mod Medusa
In a simplistic way, The Mod Medusa could be described as an Euclidean LFO : it is an “algo-rhythmic” modulation source which produces variable period LFO signals synced to rhythmic patterns. Those patterns are generated by algorithms such as the euclidean one (famous for trigger sequences generation) and as other algorithms coming from the White and Knight's Gallop. Mod Medusa has 4 outputs generating 4 correlated LFOs, which give different “polyrhythms” feeling according to the chosen mode. Generated waveforms can be easily twisted thanks to the symmetry and waveform parameters which continuously morph the signal into different waveshapes. A very unique approach which leads to instantaneous and original results!
If you are making it to Superbooth, don't hesitate to come
and say hello to our team at booth W380!"
"Jacob cooked up some hot tips and tricks for the Moog Matriarch this last week and we decided to share them with the world!
Jacob takes full advantage of the Matriarch's powerful stereo filter as well as it's interesting feature set as a semi - modular - paraphonic synthesizer to unleash some unworldly sounds and interesting tones
"Video demo of the RYK M185 in Roland 100m format, patched to single voice made up from M110 and M140 modules
Sequence is split in AB Serial Split Mode.
Synced to System80 880 drum machine [ clone of Roland TR808 ]
"Using the amount of spring reverb as a transitional device. Besides transitioning from a washy/blurred to a crisper sound it also goes dynamically from soft to loud while acting as a quasi filter by altering harmonic content. Enjoy!
A year ago I began this little series for my Patreon page. Now I will periodically be making it public over the coming months. If you'd like to support my Patreon and keep the tutorials flowing here's the link: https://www.patreon.com/synthtodd"
It has been a looong break, moving into a new house and building up the new studio has taken a bit more time than expected. Now finally after some furniture builds etc it is making some sounds.
I recorded the very first jam for you all to prove that it is up and running, haha. Live as usual straight down on 2 track, Zoom H5. :)
Track is 100bpm, laidback .. main themes on the KORG ms-20 mini and the KORG volca.
