Knobcon 2: Hungry Rat DIY workshop!
video upload by Synth Diy Guy
Hungry Rat 2hp distortion - opamp comparison
video upload by John Schussler
"Welcome to the niche-y-est of all niche-y eurorack videos. The focus of this video is on tiny differences (or not so tiny) between opamps (operational amplifiers) in the Hungry Rat distortion, a 2hp module made by Modular for the Masses and inspired by the ProCo Rat.
To be fair, you'll still get a good intro to the Hungry Rat, which is a very nice use of 2hp. So if you're not opamp obsessed, skip around and just get the flavor.
If you are interested in opamp contributions to the sound, in this video you'll get to hear 4 different options. The 'bog standard' TL072, which everybody uses for everything; the TLC2262, which I gather is 'special'; the NE5532P; and the B072A.
VCO is a Doepfer A-111 sequenced by Intellijel Metropolix.

Fairwell Absynth, generative ambient production
video upload by DATABROTH
"Native Instruments has discontinued Absynth, this is very unfortunate for such a classic synth
I'm a bit embarrassed how little I've used this synth, so I figured I'd spend some time with it today.
This isn't just goodbye though, Brian Clevinger, the creator of Absynth has created a new synth, Plasmonic, and has plans to continue Absynth's legacy in the future
so if you are an Absynth fan, and haven't heard of Plasmonic yet, please check it out https://rhizomatic.fr/

"The Mos-Lab studio has the particularity of presenting only rare or even extremely rare instruments. An Ali Baba's cave which is enough to turn the heads of all lovers of vintage analog synths. Sébastien tells us about these 2 latest acquisitions: the Matrix 12 and the Sonic 5."
Starts with a walkthrough featuring an RMI Harmonic Synthesizer, Waldorf Wave, RSF Program Select unit, PPG 350 Computer Sequencer, Wave 2.3 & 360A Wave Computer.
This might be the first post to feature the RSF Program Select. Rare RSF Series 11 mouldar towards the end as well.
What are Modular Synthesizers? | History, Formats, & Notable Users|
video upload by Piotr Garbaczonek
"Thanks for watching and welcome to a project that I wanted to start for a very long time, and that is: 'Piotr Garbaczonek Presents Modular Tutorials, Tips, Tricks, and more...'
This is my first video like that in which the goal is to introduce the concept of modular synthesizers to people who may have never heard of them, and kind of open the gate to the world of modular for those people. What is modular? Who uses modular? What different formats are there? Why would they be used over software synthesizers? How they can be used in the music industry?
Please give me feedback and suggestions in the comments so that I can improve my videos next time. As you can see, I have never really done this type of content before, but I am trying it out and hopefully, it can be of help to people out there, but I am not perfect, so if there is anything that you don't agree with, or know some facts that I may have misrepresented please let me know in the comments, and as always I am grateful for your suggestions, and taking the time to provide them to me:)
In the next few videos, I am planning to be centered around different types of modules in a modular system, before going into making patches from scratch and kind of explaining my process of going about making modular music/sound design, etc.
I am a graduate student right now, so I am very unsure how I can manage schoolwork and these videos so the timeline of these is undecided but just know that they are in the works and they will be done when they will be done.
Cheers, and thanks for your constant support;)

Greatest Software Synths Of All Time
video upload by Woody Piano Shack
"Here are the most important, iconic and influential software sunthesizers of all time. I'll demo them all back and present some information about each. These are the synths that defined the sounds of new musical genres and revolutionized the music industry. All the synths we talk about today are softsynths, virtual synthesizers in software VST plugin format for running in your DAW for music production."
