06- The Arturia MiniFreak- Oscillators: Waveshaper

video upload by AutomaticGainsay

"Here is a demonstration of the sound and functionality of the Waveshaper oscillator type found on the Arturia MiniFreak.

The theme was created out of presets and crafted patches over an assemblage of fragments of GarageBand loops. For all intents and purposes, it is a MiniFreak-Only composition.

Hedge-hopping at dusk as the rain starts to fall | Roland MC101 through Boss RC500 stereo looper :)

video upload by drone-in-the-woods

"I took my Crave up to my forest studio to play a track I'm currently working on but I forgot it's power supply. And it started to rain. Rather than pack up and return to civilisation, I decided to have a jam with just the MC101 and the looper to see what I could come up with, whilst deflecting raindrops with my telekinetic powers.

'Glowingly Foolish' is a joint composition with myself and the Ukranian music artist Dmitry Postovalov. Dmitry wrote and recorded the Kalimba samples and we are working on a collaborative e.p. together. His channel here is:

Happy 303 day: Ambient Dub Techno Jam with 7x 303s

video upload by Honeysmack

"Happy 3.03 day! What better way to celebrate than try something completely ridiculous and play 7x 303 at the same time? I was up for the challenge! While it might seem fairly easy, it actually did my head in for a while. I had to think about how to make this interesting, rather than have a stupid cacophony of acid bashing our ears. So I opted for the downtempo ambient dub like sound. In simple terms space the 303s out and give them room socially. Here it is and after the jam I provide some short commentary on my approach and how it was recorded. The jam was recorded in one single take, no additional sounds or post production. Please let me know what you think, am I crazy?

"This is by far one of the rarest synthesizers ever built! only 5 left and 1 is known to be working!

has a one of a kind upgrade wich enables you to either use rhe Tapes or Waveterm A as the software loader! the Wavetetm software is the ultra rare ASK wave cutter software! included are also the original casettes, VDU, Keyboard and a one of a kind Apple II cable! if you buy it without the waveterm A, you will get a 10k discount.... it also works without the waveterm A. keep in mind i never used the tapes! no guarantees! can also allow you to connect a wave 2.0 to the 380 and trigger ut via auxillary sends!!!!

there is a high possibility that this system belonged to tangerine dream!

you will never ever have a chance to buy it again unless you decide to get it now! it works and loads all the software."

Møffenzeef Mødular SEALAND DEMO

video upload by Møffenzeef Mødular

via Bandcamp

"To celebrate the anniversary of the release of Sealand Moffenzeef Modular has produced a limited run of 10 Sealand modules each accompanied by a custom hand pressed dubplate edition of the Sealand EP.

Sealand is a Eurorack module that specializes in creating randomized percussion sounds. At the core of the module is a synthesizer whose algorithm, pitch, and timbre can be modulated by gate signals. Each time a gate signal is received at the corresponding input, the parameter is randomized. The BANG! Input is a CV input for an internal VCA. Any CV fed into this Jack will modulate the volume of Sealand. This input was meant to be used with very short gates to create percussive blips. The synthesis algorithms in Sealand are the same algorithms from our Muskrat, Shtick, and MSG product line. Throw a bunch of gate patterns at Sealand and bask in it's peculiar and unpredictable results."
