ARP Odyssey SUB-oscillator

video upload by Lackan

"This SUB-oscillator PCB was originally designed for the Oberheim SEM, but will work on most vintageanalog synths.
Depending on synth, installation may vary, this video shows the installation in an vintage ARP Odyssey.
The installation is fully reversible and leaves no ugly marks on the synth."

Techno bass for days with latest TR-1000 Firmware. Version 1.50

video upload by TechnoAcidHouse

"Very nice. Firmware 1.50 with the long awaited *Note Sequencing*, we don't ask for much.

My mind still blown at the Mix Only output option (direct from DAW to unused output on TR), but we'll get to that later, it will be soooooo useful.

T1 909 kick, T2 808 snare, T3 low sine with note sequencing, T4 high sine with note sequencing, T5 808 rim, T6 808 clap, T7 808 chh, T8 727 brush, T9 sample, T10 909 ride

discoDSP Models the Oberheim TEO-5 In Software with the TED-8

video upload by discoDSP

TED-8 is the Oberheim TEO-5 as a plugin, built from thousands of measurements of a real unit. Every knob, every curve and every effect was recorded, compared and tuned until the plugin and the hardware sounded the same side by side. Then we gave it three more voices, a Poly Unison mode that stacks up to 6 voices on each of 8 notes (48 voices at once), a full modulation matrix and a cable to the real thing, so TED-8 works on its own in your DAW or as the editor and librarian for the TEO-5 on your desk.

HOW WE MODELED IT

TED-8 How we modeled it We started with a TEO-5 on the bench and a lot of patience. One note at a time, one knob step at a time, we recorded what the unit actually does: how far the filter moves per step, how the envelopes curve, how fast each LFO setting runs, how each effect colors the sound. TED-8 follows those recordings rather than a datasheet, so a patch you dial in feels and responds the way it does on the hardware.

The little imperfections came along too. Each voice sits a few cents apart and a touch louder or softer than its neighbour, the way the voices of the unit do, so chords breathe instead of sounding cloned.

Modular vid #353 Destiny+ Czochralski Cells

video upload by Phisynth

"Destiny+ Czochralski Cells triggered by Oxi One. additional CV's and clock divisions from Serge & Modcan. A little bit of Entanglement Space at the end, but all sounds coming from CC.

JP6+ Split Whole Arp Demo

video upload by sequentix

"JP6+ Split Whole mode turns the synth into two separate polysynths.
In this unit, voices 7 and 8 have been populated, so it's a dual 4 voice synth (JP6+2).
Upper and lower both have independent arpeggio settings (sharing the same rate atm). Selecting Upper or Lower allows either tone to be edited and played with keyboard independently. Upper receives basic MIDI channel, Lower receives on channel + 1.
Key assign modes still available in arp. Big unison :)
Both voices filters set to Jupiter 8 4-pole mode."

AKAI PROFESSIONAL® INTRODUCES MPK® MINI PLUS II, THE NEXT GENERATION OF ITS 37-KEY MIDI KEYBOARD CONTROLLER

Upgraded keys and MPC pads meet new creative tools, deeper MPC and DAW integration, a full-color display, MIDI and CV connectivity in a compact 37-key controller.

CUMBERLAND, R.I. (October 22, 2026) – Akai Professional® today announced MPK® Mini Plus II, the next generation of its compact 37-key MIDI keyboard, designed for creators who want more performance and production control without moving to a full-size keyboard. MPK Mini Plus II combines an upgraded 37-key mini keybed, eight velocity- and pressure-sensitive RGB MPC pads, a new full-color display, and creative tools including Glitch, Mutate, Strum, Freeze, Chords, and Follow. Direct MPC Standalone and MPC Desktop integration brings deeper MPC control to the keyboard, while USB-C, five-pin MIDI, and CV/Gate connectivity allow MPK Mini Plus II to move easily between software instruments, hardware synthesizers, and modular setups.

Cinematic Ambient with Prophet-10, reface CS, and OP-1 field | Invisible Frost 2026-10-22 by atnr

video upload by atnr

"Cinematic ambient created with the Prophet-10, reface CS, OP-1 field, and CP-88.

On the OP-1 field, detailed glitch beats and sustained synth pad sounds are recorded in advance. The MOTHER effect is used as the master effect to add gated reverb.

On the reface CS, the oscillator is set to FM while synth pads are performed. The output is processed through the MICROCOSM with deep reverb.

The Prophet-10 is connected to the blueSky and used to perform slow-attack synth pads.

The CP-88 is processed in the DAW with reverb from Native Instruments Raum.
