"Better than Einhorn Eintopf."

"microGranny 2 is a monophonic granular sampler. It reads wav samples from microSD card and applies granular algorithms to them. You can also adjust start, end, sample rate (tuned or free run), crush and envelope (attack release). MIDI Input allows external control of all parameters as well as transposition of the samples, or playing individual grains by different keys.

Includes microgranny, all original box, sticker, and manuals as well as 9v battery and a power supply!"

MicroGranny 2.5 Demo #TTNM

Published on Aug 30, 2016 The Tuesday Night Machines

"Here's a demo video of the Bastl Instruments Micro Granny 2.5.

The MicroGranny 2 is a monophonic granular sampler, which can record samples to its microSD card with an internal microphone or trough a line-in port. It's easy to use and can be powered by battery, so you'll probably want to take it with you anywhere you go. Of course you can also incorporate it into a MIDI setup, playing the samples transposed over a keyboard, sequencing sample changes and automating sample parameters like bit crushing, pitch and granular synthesis."

Minisizer-MicroBrute-Party :D (w/ Volca Beats & MicroGranny 2.4) #TTNM

Published on Jul 19, 2016 The Tuesday Night Machines

"Lured the Arturia MicroBrute out of its hiding place to patch it with the Anyware Instruments Minisizer :D

The Volca Beats clocks the MicroBrute, which sequences itself and the Minisizer. Some of the Minisizer's audio is fed into the MicroBrute as well, but other than that, the instruments are sent into a mixer separately. The MicroGranny 2 is played manually.

Audio gear used:
- Anyware Instruments Minisizer (mini analog modular synth)
- Arturia MicroBrute (analog monosynth with sequencer)
- Bastl Instruments MicroGranny 2.4 (granular sampler)
- Korg Volca Beats (drum machine)"

Ok, this is the second album treatment.. not finished in any way, just a jam session so please give your input as usual :) It might not even end up on the album if its not good enough. And YES, you hear some hiss, its the Jomox t-resonator, its getting much worse, dunno whats going on... this can be fixed on the 16 track recording i have done by separating stuff and using noise gates etc... so. I hope you can enjoy it still. cheers !

BURG - Album Movement 01 (KORG volca, Roland Aira, ms-20, PreSonus, JX03, Nord Lead)

Published on Jan 23, 2016 ollilaboratories

"If you like my stuff, please support me on http://music.ollilab.com

Alright friends, this is it.. the first test track with the new PreSonus StudioLive 16.0.2 mixer.. it is just about everything i thought it would be plus a little more.

Now I am taking the step toward starting to write a proper full length album, and what you here on this video/track, is the first jam session. I would love you hear your input, as this one is not final... i will do another recording tomorrow as Cubase could not record 16 tracks at once (it stopped after 2 mins).. so i have to use StudioLive capture, which is fine... so this one only exists as a 2 track version.

Plan going forward is, to record a live session... both to 2 track, and also on 16 track, so i can first post the video on youtube, get your input ... also id like your feedback on what to do with the track going post production. This will take some time (obviously).. but id like to get you involved in the post production process. Any and all comments are welcome, as you can understand i cannot answer all questions and input... but i will try to do my best :)

Also, once i have the stems ready.. for a few tracks, and the album starts closing in on completion.. i will reach out to you for some remix work. (which will be loads of fun !)

This track as you understand is in no way a complete piece of music.. consider it a jam, and a structured piece to try and complete the jigsaw puzzle of the new BURG album. For all we know, this track might not even end up on the album :)

So Enjoy, and play it loud! :D

Gear Used: KORG volca bass, keys, sample, ms-20 mini, SQ-1, Elektron Analog Four, Roland Aira TR-8, TB-3, System-1, Arturia Microbrute, Roland boutique JX03, Bastl Microgranny, Nord Lead A1, Studio 601 8 bit synth

BURG - Primer (KORG ms-20, volca, Roland TR-8, TB-3, System-1, JX03)

Published on Jan 15, 2016 ollilaboratories

"Happy new year all ! :)

Well, thing is... i tried to record this track like 5 times.. i got cracks and buzzes and timing issues, and it just got later and later and all of a sudden i was a bit buzzy (due to the beer). So what you hear is the 6th take... all the other takes suck (big time) so not publishing them.. also im going to need a new mixer, because recording a track several times and not being able to use it really sucks.

However, inspiration for this track comes from an email i received from a stranger... who i hope is getting better now. BoooM-tchakK to you my friend !

As always, no computers and stuff, all is recorded live straight into 2-track. I hope you can enjoy it !

Gear used: KORG; volca, bass, keys, sample, ms-20 mini, SQ-1, Roland AIRA, system-1, TR-8, TB-3, elektron analog four, nord lead A1, arturia microbrute, bastl microgranny MG-1, studio 601

FX used: strymon timeline, mooer reecho, korg kaoss pad, jomox t-resonator, zoom ms70 cdr, solidgold fx electroman"
