Threetom Modular Doppio soft saturator and limiter : Digital piano noodles #1 (Lode)

video upload by Threetom Modular

Doppio soft saturator and limiter : Digital piano noodles #2 (Tom)

via Threetom Modular

"The Threetom Modular Doppio is a compact stereo amplifier, drive, and soft limiter module. Doppio helps complex and dynamic stereo sounds to find their place in a modular synthesizer context, where signals are hot, and headroom is extremely limited. Doppio does this by implementing a compact, yet flexible, soft-knee limiter. The limiter is specifically designed for eurorack levels and avoids the need for unnecessary make-up gain, resulting in a lower noise floor.

Doppio offers three different gain settings (x1, x5, x21), and three different ratios (linear, drive, and limit). In addition to this Doppio has gain and volume knobs for more precise control. Different combinations of these settings cater to applications like saturating complex stereo signals without turning them into mush, end-of-chain limiting, and boosting line level signals to eurorack level, while still retaining enough oomph to also saturate them nicely. Finding the right settings is made easy by DOPPIO’s unique coffee-bean-shaped indicator lights.

Even though Doppio’s architecture is stereo, that doesn’t mean it has no uses on mono signals: Either process two mono signals with identical settings, or chain the two channels to form a two-stage high-gain mono drive. Finally, it’s important to note that Doppio is DC-coupled and can also be used to process CV signals.

In summary: Doppio is to your signals what a double espresso is to you – it makes you bigger and bolder – and you know you’re hooked when the withdrawal symptoms kick in."

DSI Pro 2 patch Evolution Noodle

video upload by Senti mental

"Last sunday noodle for this year, this time one patch evolving. i have used the patch idea with the LFOs from Christopher White for the P12 - see his very nice video here: [below]
and started from there adding more subtle modulation for filter, envelopes and pitch wheel, ribbon controllers, velocity, aftertouch and oscillator shapes. Four sessions mixed for better audio experience into on. First sound in paraphonic sequencer mode, second paraphonic keys, next with apreggiator in random, last again paraphonic keys. Snow footage from feb. this year.
Only added 25% of reverb in DAW to mush everything together, otherwise no effects except onboard delays. Head phones or decent gear recommend."

Ambient groove using the LFOs on the Prophet 12, some Microcosm haze, and the Digitakt.

video upload by Christopher White

"I love the LFOs in the @Sequential Prophet 12! This is a simple chord progression, triggering the LFOs in the Prophet with 4 note chords. The LFOs do the rest.

LFO1 is. Rev Saw controlling the LPF Cutoff as 16th notes
LFO2 is Rev Saw controlling the HPF Cutoff as 1 quarter notes
LFO3 is triangle controlling the Osc 2 Shape Mod as dotted quarter notes.
LFO4 is Rev Saw controlling the Delay 4 time as quarter triplets. I wanted this to give slight pitch fluctuations.

Osc1 is Tines with 70 glide and 10 slop.
Osc2 is Tri
Osc3 is Sine
Osc4 is off.

The @Hologram Electronics Microcosm is set to HazeA. The @ElektronDigitakt is set to all sorts...

Hope you enjoy."

Afterneath V3 on synth with CV control (no talking)

video upload by Richard DeHove

"There's plenty of videos which show Earthquaker Devices' Afterneath V3 doing all the usual reverb things, so here I thought I'd just show what happens when you apply CV. The expression jack accept 1v/Oct CV, although it doesn't track pitch. Because of that I mostly ignore the Major, Minor, Pentatonic scale modes because they don't really work anyway in terms of tracking pitch. Despite that there's lots of interesting weirdness to explore.

Here I'm running a DB-01 through the pedal. the DB-01 CV out is being mixed with the CV from a synced LFO. I experiment with different LFO shapes, rates, and blends of the LFO and DB-01 pitch CV.

In my first edit of this video I chopped everything up into highlights, but I abandoned all that and went with the unedited noodling instead. I think it's more interesting to see the process of getting from one effect to the next even if that means a few interludes of mush. Hope you find it useful.

ps: This is not a sponsored video, I bought it at full price with my own money.

0:00 Dry sound
0:20 Mode 2 (unquantized with slew)
1:05 Squeaky gate!

Enter The Fury - Synth Cover

Published on Apr 10, 2018 tiergrinder

"My adaptation from Mitch Murder's epic track Enter The Fury.
The original song is so brilliant. It sounds pretty simple and straight forward but it's loaded with tricks and awesome medies.

I started with the main arpeggio line and bassline and soon realised there is mush more to this track than what I first thought.
I have to say I was going to give up at one point :D
Drum programming alone is so sick! No wonder he's called a genius.

I wanted to use as much preset sounds from the synths as possible so they maintain their signature sounds, so this far from perfect remake but I think the groove is there.

Moog Mother-32 * 3 Sound Picks 2016 Analog Synthesizer Rik Marston Synth

Published on May 9, 2016 SynthgodXXX

"'Moog Mother-32 * 3 Sound Picks 2016 Analog Synthesizer'
2016 Demo by Rik Marston **Watch in HD** 100% No Talking!
Just pure MOTHER-32 POWER!

This is a follow up video to my last Mother-32 video.
It is just an AUDIO DEMO of 3 sound picks I'd use
from the users manual references. I create, then
I tweak these 3 sounds into oblivion. Not really.
I just tweak them into mush. LOL. Nice synth!

Sounds featured are:
'Noise Transient'
'Sequencer Bass'
'Short Brass'

Tell me how you like your MOTHER-32!!

The MOTHER-32 was recorded with
Ableton LIVE 7 using no effects.
I used a Roland V-Synth as Midi Controller.

Thank you for watching!"

Snazzy FX : GTR_amp module/tidal wave /wow module /out to tube amp

Published on Oct 24, 2015 snazelle

Guitar meets modular.

"First demo with the final proto
Guitar goes into module
Module out to tidal wave and wow and flutter then back into GTR_amp module then out to tube amp ...includes overdrive , discrete transistor input and gain stages , trigger out and proper attenuation and buffering to go back to amp (or just stay in euro and use your regular setup with a nice guitar input with overdrive and trigger out )"

"due to popular demand, Snazzy FX has created a module made just for you GUITARISTS!

THE GTR AMP euro Module!

Allowing you to both Control other modules with your guitar (such as triggering an envelope) And use your guitar as a +/-5v signal, effects like Ring Modulation, Triggered Sweeps, Tremolo, and more can all be patched up when you use the GTR AMP module as your guitars input into the system.

Made to complement a row of SNAZZY FX MODULES (the tidal wave and wow and flutter are both perfect for guitar processing!) as well as work with all other euro modules.

The main advantage of the module is the HIGH GAIN it can produce without turning your guitar into TOTAL MUSH, however it does range from clean to nicely over-driven."

Audio Damage - GrainShift/Errorbox/DubJr - Patch1

Audio Damage - GrainShift/Errorbox/DubJr - Patch1 from Richard Devine on Vimeo.

"First late night jam with the new Audio Damage effects for Eurorack. Everything is being triggered/clocked via the Tiptop TriggerRiot. Kick drum source is the Cwejman BLD running into the "ADM02" Grainshift, turning the kick drum into granulated mush. Next source is the Z output from the Synthesis Technology E350 running into one MakeNoise - modDemix then sent to a TipTop Z5000, for intermittent CV control verb. The analog hand-clap from the Din Sync DrumDokta DRM-110 running into the "ADM01" DubJr Delay. Which is being strangled and mangled by one stepped output from the MakeNoise Wogglebug, which is also being clocked from the Trigger Riot. One sine output from the DPO running into another Optomix, triggered by channel A from Trigger Riot for synthetic double style FM high-hats, which is running into the Errorbox being slightly degraded and crushed. CV inputs Pitch and Chaos on the Grainshift controlled by erratic CV plot movements from the Rene sequencer (also clocked from the Trigger Riot). Bouncing ball effect from the MakeNoise Maths V2 channel output one, from FM Intellijel Rubicon, then sent to intellijel Planar for panning zigzag movements also being controlled by Maths V2, channel output 4. Drones running from the Mutable Instruments Braids into the Eventide Space reverb pedal fully wet mix. "
