"We recently reviewed the Perkons performance drum machine fro Erica Synths, but you cant beat hearing what its maker can do with it, so we were lucky to find Girts Ozolins, the main man on the booth. He showed us a little of what makes the Perkons a popular machine for performers, and also we got a look at the Syntrx II the EMS AKS inspired synthesizer with digitally controlled patch bay. It has more focus on input processing than Syntrx I.

Available later this year priced at around €1800 euros."

"SYNTRX [sintrex] is developed from scratch all analogue synthesizer with digitally controlled patch matrix. It features 3 highly accurate VCOs, noise generator with “color” filter, resonant VCF, ring modulator, spring reverb, looping envelope generator, joystick controller, input amplifier with adjustable gain for microphone to line level signals, 3 VCAs, output signal filter, analogue CV/audio signal level indicator and built in speakers.

Pre-orders are currently open for waiting-list subscribers, however, depending on the demand and availability - public orders might be opened next week."

"Erica Synths SYNTRX purchased new about a year ago - used sparingly in my home studio. I replaced the drab MXR style knobs with very high quality Sifam collet knobs (as seen on Buchla 200e) in an EMS Synthi style color scheme. Original knobs included as well as original box and power adapter."

"The Syntrx is a modular analogue monosynths. There are three oscillators (the third works at lower frequencies for LFO duties), noise generator, ring modulator, low‑pass filter, two input amplifiers and a spring reverb. For modulation sources, there’s a trapezoid envelope generator, sample and hold module and the joystick. The sample and hold circuit, along with oscillator sync, a gate input and of course MIDI."

"Welcome to #KadImprov Sessions #8: 'Above the city'

I envisioned a flight above a megacity while making this track. Sounds illustrating the vibes and rhythms in the different areas of a techno dystopian metropolis.

For this track I used the #CasioSK1 filtered with the Electro-Harmonix Frequency Analyzer and the #ProphetRev2 on the main chords. I played the arpeggio pattern on the Moog #Mother-32. The drone sound design was made on the #Syntrx."

I was inspired to call this track Sunset, because to me it feels like a transition. A wavering moment between day and night.

Main chords on the #ProphetRev2. I wanted to try the #KORG #NTS1 for the arpeggio drone sound together with the #electroharmonix Frequency Analyzer.

Drone sounds provided by the #EricaSynths SYNTRX, base drum and thumping sound designed with the #Moog #Mother32.

"This is the 13th video of my electronica series called "Ambient diaries". The song contains the mighty Beat Machine Isla Instruments S2400. My Erica Synths SYNTRX II synthesizer adds some playing nice melody with modulation action. Moog Voyager is playing bass going through a Bettermaker Stereo Passive Equalizer and Arturia Polybrute is in pad mode routed through a Mäag EQ4M in M/S mode. Reverbs, delays with CXM 1978, Empress Reverb and Zen Delay."

"In which I do the thing I had forbidden myself both for technical and artistic reasons: using test equipment to control synths and let synths process test equipment. With the oftentimes wildly varying out levels of measurement instruments this is risky, but if you know what you are doing, it is a fun way to add just a touch of scientific-industrial sound to your setup. In this example, I am using among others the HP8006A to control rhythms on the Metasonix D1000 and the @Erica Synths​ SYNTRX, as well as processing vintage lock-in amplifiers through the SYNTRX.
