YouTube via TONYM2M2
Re-Uploaded on Jun 16, 2007sometest353·1 video

Details:
"Gershon kingsley's " Popcorn " is one of the worlds most recognisable tunes ...not bad going for a man who penned the track in two minutes.! ! ..... It was recorded in 1969 for Kingsley's solo album " Music To Moog By " http://www.virginmegastores... which saw Kingsley pioneering the use of Dr. Moog's early synthesizer.....Hot Butter released a more up-tempo version of Popcorn in 1972 . This became an instant hit across the world, and has the distinct title ot being The Worlds First Commercially Successful "Synthesizer" Record, WOW !!......Just as the name Moog is connected to Synthesizer...so too is Kingsley to Electronica......"

MOOG Synthesizer IIIp For Sale - $12000

You don't see this every day. Title link takes you to the ad in the Seattle Craiglist while it is up. I grabbed the text below minus the contact info for future privacy. Check out the MOOG Authorized Performer below. I didn't realized they had that back then. I wonder what you had to do get authorized.

"MOOG SYNTHESIZER SERIES IIIp

1 keyboard and ribbon controller
Vintage: 1968
One of the very first synthesizers built by Moog in their Trumansburg, NY factory.
Purchased by Phil Davis in 1969

“In 1969 I was 19 years old. I’d gone to work for a studio musician in Hollywood named Paul Beaver where it was my job to go to the various studios and set up his Moog Synthesizer for sessions. I met some of the very top musicians in LA and it wasn’t long before I had the opportunity to buy my own Moog Synthesizer IIIp. I was part of the band for the stage production of “Tommy”, “Jesus Christ Superstar”, “Sgt. Pepper on Broadway and countless session work.

38 years later, I’m now ready to sell my synthesizer that has been in storage for a long, long time. It’s a classic."

Update: Backed up the images here.
