"In December 2010 we plan to release an experimental Optigan disc called “Musique Concrète,” which will essentially be a collage of 57 sound loops in the tradition of early electronic studio tape music. We’re completely disregarding the Optigan paradigm of chords and keys, and simply assigning a different abstract sound loop to each chord button and key. We thought that the most interesting approach for this disc would be to invite Optigoners everywhere to submit sound loops of their own making (please, no samples from commercial or copyrighted sources), from which we’ll choose the best for inclusion on the disc." It's listed for $99 on the Nova Musik website here. No release date listed, but according to Chris in the comments of this post, Guitar Center and Musician's Friend have the release date listed as March 3rd. Still nothing on the Akai site.
Update: I heard from Akai. It is still on track, same price and release date. The name has officially changed to the SynthStation25. The info page was removed at Apple's request.
"The Akai iPK25...now renamed SynthStation25 does in fact live. When developing hardware for Apple ipod products, Apple has a large number of hoops for developers to jump through. There was one hoop we missed so Apple made us take down the information from our web page. We are now working our way through this issue and it will be back up on the web page when we are allowed to put it back there. This has not affected shipping dates or anything, just our ability to have info regarding it up on our web page."

YouTube via Destroyifyer " This is a circuit bent Yamaha RX7 and an NES. As a warning, there are many loud, high pitched sounds in this video."
via this auction "4 point patch grid on both machines, RX7 has a 24 channel mixer split into 4 groups of 6 by 3 switches. The RX7 has 6 fully routable pots (four 50k, one 250k and one 500k) connected by 5 switches and a 6th routes the last to the first making a loop. The NES has 8 routable pots (six 50k, one 100k, and one 250k) connected by 7 switches with an 8th that routes the last to the first. The video and the sound of the NES can be modified, triggered and controlled with the RX7, and the NES can mod its own picture by itself as well as sounds of the RX7. Both machines are fully functional, the NES is excellent and plays games without hesitation or glitches. RX7 will come with many of the drums edited, which can all easily be reset to the original factory settings if desired. A couple of the factory kits have been delightfully mangled to be very non-decaying and sound oriented to take a break from drum sounds if you wish... these can be easily overwritten (although they have been saved with the factory settings if they are missed). The RX7 is capable of making many non-drum noises and by both using the patch-grid and programming the machine a good selection of sounds can be achieved. It is recommended to research the RX7 and its capabilities if unfamiliar with this machine. Accessories include an NES controller, a 9V power adapter and random game for the NES, a power adapter and owner's manual for the RX7, as well as plenty of patch cables. The price of shipping includes insurance. For international bidders, please contact me a day or so in advance for a shipping quote. These machines will go to the highest bidder and ship out somewhat immediately.

The RJC1000 is the first music production tool to create customized music for the new generation of smart music players such as the iPhone. Using this software, you will get access to a growing number of reactive music modules such as the worldquantizer and twistybass. They will make it easy for you to create very engaging new music experiences by integrating the players accelerometer, microphone, compass or signal processing facilities into your music.
You can now create tracks where the movements of a listener control the melody of your song or the percussive noises in the listeners environment become part of the beat structure of your song. Apply a range of realtime effects such as Eargasms or Dub Delays to the players microphone and combine the result with your music. This is reactive music, this is the 21st century ;-)
You'll also find some additional info and shots. I'm not sure if you have to be a member of Muff's to see the thread. If so, you can find the demos on Zerosum here.
via this auction That's what it says. :) "Pearl syncussion SY-1 analog drum synthesizer only. Made in Japan. 2 identical channels, with 6 preset oscillator modes, I suspect each channel has 2 oscillators and the 6 modes are preset variations and modulations of both. On each channel, 8 beautiful sliders control, tune, decay, width, sweep speed, sweep range, lfo speed, lfo range, and output. Sliding switches control "sweep up-off-down" and "lfo squarewv-off-sawwav" and sample and hold."

With which one can paint Trans Waves for Ensoniq Samplers resynthetisieren or. Version 2 wird auch noch ein HQ - Stereo - Morphing enthalten, wenn ich's dann mal fertig kriege. Version 2 will also contain a HQ - Stereo - Morphing, if I then get ready times. WTMAKER ist quasi Abfall... WTMAKER is virtually waste ...
Viel Spaß/Frust bei der Erstellung eigener Komplexer - Wavetables. Have fun / frustration when creating your own Complex - wavetables."
Update via matgrk in the comments:
"WTMAKER is 16/32 Bit OS only
- put the EXE into an own directory - put a WAV (MONO, 44,1 kHz, 16BIT, >0.5 sec) into this directory and rename it "input.wav" - doubleclick onto the wtmaker.exe - if operation is successful, it writes a file named "userwt.wt"
I'm sorry for the circumstances, but wtmaker was only written for my personal use in less than 2 hours (I needed a wavetable ... *lol*). If there's a need for such a prgram, I'll write a more usable version the next days.
The picture above is from another program I'm working on. WTMAKER is a kind of batch utility, wich uses some code from the program you see on the picture.
Now you can drag and drop WAVs (16bit,44,1 kHz,Mono,>0.5 sec) onto the exe. You don't have to rename the files. Futher the *.WT file has the same name as the input file. I hope this changes improve the usability. "
