"You're looking at a beautiful and rare, 1979 Roland ProMars Compuphonic MRS-2 monophonic analogue synthesiser. It is serviced, calibrated and ready to go. It sounds absolutely stunning. Every function works correctly, no scratchy pots or anything else and it plays perfectly in tune with minimal warm up time.

This is an original UK/Euro Promars so it runs on 240/220 Volts. No need for any hacking or external transformers.
This is, in my opinion, one of the finest sounding vintage monosynths ever made.

It is basically a monophonic Jupiter 4 but with one very important extra feature; it has a second (tunable) VCO! This obviously enhances the the sound massively. It gives the Promars a huge sound, and a very impressive feature set. Another great feature is that it has patch memory! This is unusual on a vintage monosynth, and not seen on any other vintage Roland mono. You also get two filters, High and resonant Low pass and an amazing LFO that runs well into the audio spectrum!
A very well laid out set of knobs, sliders and edit controls give you the power to create some really amazing sounds.
Two individual VCO oscillators + SUB Oscillator that can be de-tuned, a super nice High Pass and Low Pass VCF filters with its own ADSR, a VCA envelope section, a great LFO and a pitch/mod wheel at can effect the LFO, VCF or VCA. It even has a noise generator. CV gate in and out, Headphone socket..
It is interesting to note that as this shares the same processor as the Jupiter 4, installation of the Jupiter 4 Io midi kit is possible, giving you MIDI and a host of other enhancements.
Excellent physical condition, copy of the rare service manual included. Fully working and ready to use.
