"This demo includes the Korg ES-1 sampler, Korg EM-1 workstation, and Novation DrumStation drum synth. The EM-1 is sequencing the DrumStation, the DrumStation is doing it's own sort of 909 impression, and the ES-1 is playing back the sample (Cathy Dennis "Touch Me", sampled off the 12" single and pitched down). The ES-1 is also functioning as an effects unit with it's audio in being connected to an effects send on my mixer. The reverb is an Electro Harmonix Holy Stain."

"Patch that utilizes the Synthesis Technology e355s LFOs to modulate the x and y axis of the Intellijel Planar to create complex patterns with no VCAs or sequencers.

The basics of the patch are the e355 is in phase mode and bank B of wavetables. The e355 LFO 1 is going into CVx of the planar while LFO 2 is going into CVy. CV morph on the e355 is coming from a sine wave on a Dixie LFO. DPO osc 1 sine in LFO mode is modulating the 1v/oct put of the e355.

Four sound sources at different pitches are fed into the Planars inputs A through D then out of the main mix output into processing modules. The sources and processors are further modulated via planar CV outs.

Additionally there is a free running micro hi-hat created by the SSF quantum rainbow pink noise clocked separately by Pamela's workout."

"Here's a short demo of my Snazzy FX Ardcore triple clock divider sketch. I took the original clock divider sketch and added a third division through the DAC output. Each divider can be set from 1 to 8. The fourth knob resets the clock. I wasn't planning on making a video until I realized while testing it out that I recreated a familiar tune. :)

Blackdeath Brutality

"Blackdeath plague synth / microsampler getting brutal processing a talk radio program being broadcast via shortwave radio and fed into the unit.

Korg ER-1 mkII electribe providing backing beat, no additional effects added.

The Blackdeath (created by Martin House in the UK) plague synth is one mean little machine, this is the Wormcode edition (#1 of 20) and here are some observational notes from my brief tenure with the beast so far.

The Blackdeath takes quite some time to harness and tame to find the sweet spots for what you want it to do. The unit can get crazy out of hand really fast and often it is quite difficult to get back to where you were if you have adjusted several of the pot shaft controls. Moves with the shafts (I would say knobs, but it does not have them) are very, very minute as you will see in the video, small moves make big changes. Very curious unit, often out of control and just spitting out harsh noise, I cannot decide if I love this thing or am getting frustrated with it. You decide if it is best for your tastes and needs. The Blackdeath has some delay added to it at the mixer but other than that this is just two units getting down and brutal together un-effected and raw. Live recording as it happened, would never be able to re-create this jam again.

"Here is a new video featuring the DSI Tempest. This is the first of two videos were I recorded the Tempest 6 individual outputs live in one take into Logic and then afterwards mixed it.

I recorded the DSI Tempest 6 individual outputs straight into the UAD Apollo sound card in one take. Then I played 2 overdubs on the Tempest pads with polyphonic synth sounds.
The reverb, EQ and compressor are from the UAD Apollo and recorded live at the same time. Then some mixing/mastring in Logic. All synth sounds made by DreamProbe.
