"Prophet X Live Demonstration. Audio was recorded directly out of the Prophet X.
We wanted to see if it was possible to break the Prophet X by having four people adjust multiple controls in real-time, but we were wrong.
The Prophet X contains hundreds of thousands of custom samples - specifically designed for the synth. This particular patch contains a large-scale symphonic choir singing: "X X X X" in a sustained loop."

"Vlad Kreimer is a visionary chap, his early experiments in electronics sent him in some unusual directions, created in isolation in his native Ukraine (where he also invented his take on the sampler). These ultimately leading him to the excellent Lyra 4 and more recently the Lyra 8 which we reviewed and thoroughly enjoyed - its the physical manifestation of Vlad's desire to create instruments which break out of the standardized interfaces of modern instruments and encourage the user to explore creativity in a different way. "Here is a quick video of a simple melody played on the Monologue, which is going thru the Avalanche Run v2. The DFAM lends bass and percussive elements and goes thru the EHX Canyon delay to apply a lo-fi grit here and there. The korg SQ-1 is clocking the DFAM and modulating some DFAM parameters, such as Noise for the Snare sound. Additional delay is provided by a korg KP3. Enjoy.

"I was curious about how it should sound to create a sequence on the Moog Minitaur, caus i always used it as Bass Line Synthesizer, have connected it to Keystep, and made the first sequence on it, and the flow started, have turned the cam on, and there it is. Hope you would enjoy the listening as i did by making it, cheers and peace!!!
As usual, everything has been recorded live, no DAW or other computer stuff involved, no mastering, just me and my hardware.
Headphones highly recommended!!!"

"A, melodic semi-self-generating patch using a 2 Mother 32s and a DFAM sent through an Eventide Space hall reverb and an Eventide Timefactor on moddelay setting.
After 022//Electric Dust where I modulated the Space with the M32, the obvious next step was to modulate the Timefactor. I found it worked best to not constantly be modulating it, and ended up with this classic soft ambient track broken up by unexpected pitch shifting.
PATCH NOTES:
The lower M32 runs the main repetitive sequence, while the top M32 supplies the bass notes and the DFAM supplies the atonal sound effects (these are FM with the amount modulated by an LFO). The higher M32 and DFAM are randomly triggered by the lower, but with the sequencer glitched so that they run at 1/12 the speed they should. The envelope of the higher M32 controls the modulation of the Timefactor, which is why the pitch shifting happens just before the bass note changes. The outputs of the 3 synths are mixed together and sent 100% wet through the delay, and finally, random stepped voltages affect many parameters, such as the filter cutoff of the filter affecting the main sequence.
