Drone - Joranalogue Generate 3 meets Instruo Cs-L

"Noisy little drone featuring Joranalogue Generate 3 modulated by Instruo Cs-L and other sources. Generate 3 is the only audible source, with no VCAs or VCFs, direct to PC. I've never heard a VCO sound like this thing does. Everything you hear is coming from Generate 3's FULL output which is a mix with ODD all the way up and varying amounts of FUNDAMENTAL and EVEN. No VC to the V/OCT changing pitch but lots of external modulation listed below. Instruo Cs-L is also static pitch with a little linear modulation of the top VCO by the bottom.

Reset (Hard Sync): Cs-L top square wave
Flip (Soft Sync): Cs-L bottom square wave
Through Zero FM: Cs-L bottom sine wave
Phase: Slight modulation by a slow LFO causing the rhythmic throbbing
Exponential FM: Sine wave from SSF/WMD Spectrum sequenced by Malekko Voltage Block supplies the melodic element

Recorded as a single track into Ableton Live. A little compression and reverb added in post."

They have groove, swing, accents, polyrhythm, motion and timbre development.

All presets have thoroughly set Mod Matrix, so it's easy to create complex and unique arp lines. Lots of interesting (sometimes unpredictable) stuff happens with these arps. They generate so many
'Happy Accidents'.

All types of oscillators were used, so some arps sound familiar and some are really freaky. Add these sounds to your live setup or production for new sound colors.

WMD Eurorack Drum Machine With The New Crater Kick Drum + Tiptop Audio Effects Modules

"This jam pairs WMD's Metron, their full arsenal of drum modules, Mutable's Plaits, and Tiptop's new ZVERB and ECHOZ effect modules to create a heavy-hitting drum machine in just 104hp of space. With the recent introduction of WMD's Crater, we needed to see just how huge a WMD drum machine could sound.

WMD's four drum modules work in tandem to produce an entire kit's worth of unique, articulate, and highly detailed percussion sounds. Chimera produces metallic sounds using a purpose-built granular engine pre-loaded with samples of everyday objects; Fracture uses a similar engine for scattered, particulate tones. Crucible is a physically-modeled cymbal module, capable of producing sound ranging from realistic ride cymbals to impossibly large metal sheets. Crater, the newest member of the WMD drum family, utilizes a combination of analog and digital components to produce huge, powerful kicks with the impact of a 909 but the body of an 808.

Tiptop's ZVERB and ECHOZ provide tailored versions of effects from their years of development on the Z-DSP multi effect module, while the Metron keeps everything moving while the MSCL glues the mix together."

"In good condition with some wear on the faceplate graphics and some scratches to the sides from racking. The sale includes a SCSI drive loaded with hundreds of samples + the OS so that you can boot directly from the SCSI (which is actually a compact flash drive). Much quicker than floppies. I will also include a set of floppies with samples and the original OS disk.

There is one issue with the ASR-10 -- it is very noisy during warm up. This lasts for approx. 5-10 minutes and then flattens out. I have no idea why this happens, but I have been using it like this for the last 6 months and haven't had any issues."

"Here's a quick exploration with the Instruo arbhar Eurorack module. I played a simple guitar part (Dsus2 / G, Dsus2 / F# and Dsus2 / B for those curious) into this recorded as one of the buffered saved on the module then manually played around with spray (randomising grain playback position) granular loop lengths, intensity (amount of grains seeded) and some pitch shifting. There's random reverse playback and random panning of the grains in the granular processing and it's just a lovely tool for smearing, spreading and spraying grains of audio. Full demo soon. This was filmed some time back with older firmware, you have some new features on the release version."

Stepinator combines a multi-step-sequencer and wavetable-synthesizer. This windows-specific VST-plugin has got three oscillators with lots of basic and wavetable waveforms. Two Filters and a lush modulation-matrix and three LFOs are also included. Different effects like equalizer, stutter and delay is also a part of this creative tool.
