"Presented in this synth demo is a vintage Roland Jupiter 8 from the 1980s. Performance footage is cut around video capture of the Getty Villa and Getty Center located in Los Angeles California.
The Jupiter 8 is mostly split into two patches for this video.

"Rare 1990 stereo drum machine featuring a custom 'sound storm' switch which generates a deep, rumbling, soundscape which glitches and evolves until the unit is switched off. The 25 point patch bay modulates the onboard rhythms and sounds to generate an array of original effects and rhythmic variations. Making a single connection can dramatically alter the output but applying multiple connections produces an increasingly complex range of fractured, reversed, tonal, bit crushed, flanged, distorted, aliasing and delayed effects, arcade sounds and digital noise, alternative rhythmic patterns and additional accents. The five included patch cables can also be stacked for further sonic manipulation.

"I actually did film the construction of the device, but there were problems with the camera and the editing, so I decided to not publish the footage.
Here you can see the result of using the device 'stand alone', I did not manage to get it working reliably using the midi port, but I may have fudge a couple solders, I'll have to revisit that later.
"This ain't your grandma's Minimoog! An excellent emulation of the of the classic Moog synthesizer taken to the next level. Though they've added optional features like polyphony, bass compensation and 4-stage envelopes, it never feels like it imposes on that classic and straightforward Minimoog experience. Simple layout and excellent tone, they've stuck to the heart of what makes a Minimoog so enduring.
A bank comprised of 30 patches for instant inspiration. The goal was to highlight the raw analog tone and organic behavior of this instrument. Drawing from the earliest days of polyphonic synthesizers, Sound Bank ‘79 for the GForce Minimonsta 2 finds its inspiration in synthesizer music found in documentaries and library music from the late 70’s and early 80’s.
