Erthenvar Closes Shop
This one is in via John L Rice who had the following to say:
"They came up with a lot of important contributions for the Eurorack community including 1U Tiles, right angle 3.5mm patch cables, and case hardware, etc. (fact check me on that though, they are just the first people I know of that offered some of those items)" I'm not sure myself. If anyone knows feel free to comment.
Here is the announcement via Erthenvar:
"September 24, 2018
End of the Road
Dear friends,
We regret to inform you that effective Sunday, September 23rd 2018, Erthenvar is no longer accepting orders and is working to wind down.
We would like to thank you for your continued support over the years. You made this a fun and fulfilling endeavor.
I would like to thank M, which is actually short for mom, for her tireless work helping my dreams become a reality. Without her, I would have had to shut down years ago. Love you, mom!
A shout to John Kennedy, who I began this journey with way back in November, 2010.
Thank you to Jason Degelman for helping with builds and so many good modular discussions.
I still love the logo after all these years, thanks Alex Vu!
Please contact us if you are interested in purchasing the company.
I look forward to the next chapter,
Nicholas Gregorich"

601.1 [eurorack volca touchOSC]
Published on Feb 16, 2015 donaldjasoncrunk
"a new configuration for my Erthenvar / Pulp Logic lunchbox synth centered around the WMD Sequential Switch Matrix and Make Noise Phonogene. both are controlled by some custom layouts i made in touchOSC, and MIDI is being transmitted via the MIDI Implant tile.
this rig is really intented to function alongside the Korg Volcas and other similar instruments, with the SSM being very useful for routing clocks and audio between the boxes.
in this patch, a cycling function acts as master clock for the STG Soundlabs .DIV, which the WMD SSM dutifully distributes to the Volcas, Phonogene and back into itself. The XY pad controls CV inputs on the Phonogene while the Korg Volca keys and Monotribe stumble along behind."

Ghost in the Machine - Modular Patch
Ghost in the Machine - Modular Patch from ka010 on Vimeo.
"Self sequencing modular patch built around a prototype which goes by the name of -Darwin- and is best described as a evolving trigger sequencer.
Darwin is triggering the main sequence which is coming from a Braids oscillator (CSAW) which is then fed through one filter of the Korgasmatron a Spring Reverb and Echophon.
Bass is coming from a STO which is fed through the second filter of the Korgasmatron.
Pitch is controlled two Pressure Points and a uScale which is shifted whenever Darwin's sequence is changing.
A third Pressure Points is used for muting channels on the Mutamix.
Drums were quickly put together using a bunch of Doepfer filters and a noise source."
Update: Note this is the first Numerical post on the site.

both monotron-e filters are controlled but it's LFO
function + and - are sent to lfo rest on both monotron-e
a152 T&H controls both monotron-e VCO cv
audio is sent to ableton live and processed with audio damage dr device"
via Doepfer:
"Module A152 is a very useful switching and T&H module. It combines a voltage addressed 1-to-8 multiplexer and 8 fold T&H that can be used as kind of an analog shift register too. The active in/output is displayed by a LED. The digital output of the currently addressed step outputs "high". The remaining digital outputs are low.
Instead of voltage control even clock/reset controlled addressing of the active step is possible. The rising edge of each clock signal causes an advance to the next state. The rising edge of the reset signal resets to step 1.
Basis principles: The sum of the voltages coming from the manual Address control and the CV input define the currently addressed step of the 3 sub-devices. If the module is controlled by clock and reset the control voltage has to remain unchanged as the CV control has priority over the clock/reset control (e.g. simply turn the CV control fully counterclockwise and do not touch the Address control knob).
Sub-device #1 is the bidirectional 8-fold multiplexer (kind of an electronical 8-fold rotary switch). Bidirectional means that it works into both directions like a mechanical rotary switch: the common socket may work as an output that is connected to one of the 8 inputs that are e.g. connected to modulation or audio sources. But the common socket may even function as input. In this case the signal applied to the common socket is output to the currently addressed single socket. The voltage range of the in/outputs to be switched is the full A-100 voltage range -12V....+12V. All A-100 signals can be switched without any restrictions.

"live track for the Eurorack Lunchbox Easel, monotribe, vocals and guitar pedals - all atop a crisp bed of xylophone loops. noisy, but this time with a beat. the Lunchbox is sequenced by the Littlemidi sequencer running on iphone, and the DD5 + akai headrush are hooked up via aux send from the mixer. this is my current live rig, just waiting on the MS20 mini to complete it! very portable, a ton of sound from this combo and not enough gear to allow things to spiral out of control. this is of real concern to me, as i tend to run everything on the verge of a feedback loop. balance must be maintained.
no longer will i be hiding my rampant interest in cold war era soviet technology, FYI
the direction i've been moving with the Lunchbox Easel is surprising to me - given the lineage, i'd expect to be working more 'experimentally' with it - but i love these simple melodic sequences coming from the DPO + optomix combo! sounds like no synth i've ever had, so simple but rich in timbre ."
