Ableton Note iOS iPhone Jam, First Impressions of the App

"Ableton Just released Note today, the new sketchpad app for iOS. I downloaded it and spent an hour or 2 with the app. I had some fun making a quick jam with it. A couple thoughts. No panning in mixer mode seems odd to me. Unless i just couldn't figure it out, I didn't see an option to pan. The effects are fun to play with. It seems like a fun program to just pick up and go, but so is Korg Gadget, which also exports to Ableton quite easily. I think I would have been more excited for this program if another more in depth mobile version of Live was introduced alongside this release. But its still fun to play with and sounds nice. This is what I made with it. Hope you enjoy!"

Korg Introduces GADGET-VR Music Production Software

KORG Gatdget gets the VR treatment. Note the video appears to start with an Oculus Quest 2 headset. The Quest 2 can actually host apps itself. A PC is optional. So, no idea if the GADGET-VR will run on the Quest 2 itself, PC or mobile. No additional details at this time aside from the video above and the image below. All is sequenced by Korg Gadget 2, with drums by a couple of the drum machine gadgets."

This isn't a cover version: I just stole the title from Frank Zappa!"
