"Homework is an experimental modular standalone workstation.
A four tracks portastudio-like cassette recorder with granular, reverb, echo and saturation effects, plus two classic modular synthesizers of the 70s.
The synths integrate with the tape recorder and the effects, thanks to a generous number of patch points placed directly on the recorder panel.
Homework is a powerful electronic experimental echo-system where fantasy is the only real limit and vintage warm sound is paramount!
THE EYE OF HORUS
is a modular synth carefully modelled after the west coast paradigm with some peculiar features like two Tropical Additive Synthesis Oscillators, a Hybrid Putney Filter, a Triple Variable State BP Filter, a Tropical Shaper, a Comparator and a double sequencer and clock.
Like the 1970s models which inspired it The Eye Of Horus is wild, organic and warm!
SONDA
is a modular synthesizer designed for drones, and inspired by the instrument popularized by the French composer and synthesist Eliane Radigue.
Five multi-waveforms oscilaltors, two multi-mode variable state filters/resonators, two modulators/amplifiers, one LPF 24 dB filter, a 7 channel mixer and a special very slow triple low frequency oscillator.

"Univox Mini-Korg Synthesizer 700 For Sale. This Minikorg has been meticulously refurbished by perfectionists and is in perfect working order and ready to play.
This unit has some very useful modifications that expand its capabilities.
Adjustable Resonance The stock minikorg just has a single switch for resonance boost, but this one's got 2 additional rotary pots added for variable resonance of the high pass and low pass filters - it really lets this minikorg scream! This mod alone is a huge improvement over a standard minikorg.
Filter Input There's also an audio input allowing one to process external sounds through its filters.
Adjustable Chorus Rate There's a pot to adjust the rate of chorus 1.
Octave and Waveform Mixing These mods give you the ability to mix waveforms and octave divisions, resulting in a fatter sound. These mods are a bit strange and interact with the octave and waveform switches, so they take a little getting used to.
These additional octave and waveform pots are active at the very top of their range and are more like switches and are sometimes inactive, depending on your settings. Sometimes octave switch settings will cause a drop in volume if the appropriate knobs are not adjusted, and sometimes there will be a change in timbre of the selected waveforms if the knobs are not adjusted properly. It's a bit confusing at first. We can probably remove these mods for you if you'd like so the octave and waveform switches work as they normally would in a stock unit, but this will remove the ability to mix waveforms and octave divisions - please email us to discuss if you'd like these mods removed (we would just remove the wires connecting the mods, not the additional pots).
These mods give this minikorg more sonic possibilities than a stock unit and add value to this example.
We paid our tech for 5 hours of skilled labor to get this unit working great again. In addition to fixing any problems, he did the following servicing:
Cleaned jacks Replaced all power supply electrolytic capacitors (he says someone previously replaced the other electrolytic capacitors) Replaced fuse Cleaned and lubed all pots Calibrated VCO"

🌃 'Echoes Of Machines' is a collection of 64 atmospheric cinematic presets for Moog Muse. 🗂 It includes: 19 Keys, 9 Leads, 5 Pads, 9 Strings, 12 Synths, 4 Drones, and 6 Textures. 📺 The soundset draws inspiration from sci-fi movies, cinematic soundtracks, dystopian worlds, urban landscapes, retro electronica, noise ambient albums, experimental modern art, and contemporary sound design. 📼 Built around the concept of imperfection, the collection blends gritty, lo-fi textures with constantly shifting timbres shaped through deep modulation.
📻 The timbral range is wide and diverse, covering dark, noisy, lo-fi, warm, deep, retro/vintage, melancholic, atmospheric, detuned, cold, distant, dull, massive, epic, bright, distorted, metallic, tense, atonal, non-harmonic, FX-like, evolving, and sweeping textures.
🎛 All patches are Velocity-sensitive. The ModWheel enhances expressiveness by adding motion and tonal variation—brightening the sound, introducing vibrato, shifting timbre, or adding extra movement for dynamic and engaging performance.
Aftertouch introduces distortion, increases sustain, or speeds up modulations. The Macro Knob introduces additional changes—it enhances the stereo effect or detuning, adds bright overtones, or adds modulation to the filter or oscillators.
"The Sequential Multitrak (released in 1985) is a six-voice analog synthesizer notable for combining true analog sound with early digital control.
Each voice has a CEM3394 synth-on-a-chip, offering a single oscillator, sub-oscillator, noise source, and resonant low-pass filter. It was one of the first affordable synths to feature a built-in sequencer and MIDI implementation, making it popular for both studio and live use.
The Multitrak’s panel and parameter editing system allowed deep sound design, though programming could be a bit tedious. Its warm, punchy tone and distinctive Sequential character make it a cult favorite among vintage synth enthusiasts today.
This one works like a charm and has that analog warmth you've been looking for in a polysynth."

"Sound bank notes
In my opinion, the Murmux Adept is a modern classic among synthesizers. It oozes quality and depth with a vintage analog sound and a strong personality. The oscillators, filters and analog stereo bucket brigade delay (BBD) interact to create a rich palette of timbres, with an inclination towards dark ambient textures.
It excels at ambient pads, textures and atmospheres so I have exploited this in many of my patches. I have also created more conventional sounds such as strings and brass which sing with power and majesty – rivalling those of the Sequential Prophet 5. Lead sounds are another strength of the Murmux, so you will find many within the bank ranging from pure triangles and sines through to aggressive and expressive saws.
Although the Murmux looks like a very simple synth - lacking complex features like a modulation matrix, in fact it is possible to create many layers of modulation simultaneously. You can for instance, assign velocity (how hard you press the keys) to modulate envelope times while also morphing between waveforms in both oscillators and using aftertouch to control filter cutoff and resonance. In this sound bank I have used modulation comprehensively and all patches have parameters assigned to the mod wheel as well as aftertouch and/ or velocity to maximise the expressiveness of the sounds.
The delay is a big feature of this synth so I have used it a lot, although you will also find traditional analog synth patches with no effects at all. The BBD resonator and ensemble modes are powerful, yet I have tended to use them for subtle modulation to thicken sounds or to create gentle flanging.

"A musical exploration of sounds and timbres featuring custom-created patches.
I think the Murmux Adept is a modern classic among analog poly synths, even though it was released as a limited edition in 2024 and is only attainable on the used market. It oozes quality and depth with a vintage analog sound and a strong personality. The oscillators, filters and analog stereo bucket brigade delay (BBD) interact to create a rich palette of timbres, with an inclination towards dark ambient textures."
"All sounds in this video are individual patches played straight from the synth except for ‘Alhaqueca’ and ‘Ambient layers’ which are layered tracks. No external enhancement or processing was applied to the sounds except on the track ‘Alhaqueca’ where I used a software delay plugin and a little compression and EQ when mastering."

The Sh*t Synth - Walkthrough video upload by CROW HILL XTRAS
Press release follows:
The Crow Hill Company turns to extensive and rare collection to turn out THE SH*T SYNTH as compendium of 48 circuit-, wave- and sample-bent instruments
EDINBURGH, UK: The Crow Hill Company is proud to turn to its own extensive and rare collection of hardware to turn out THE SH*T SYNTH — available as a compendium of 48 circuit-, wave- and sample-bent instruments inspired by some of the Edinburgh-based enterprise’s eclectic musical favourites (spanning the likes of Aphex Twin, Boards Of Canada, Joe Maus, Jon Brion, Laurie Spiegel, Radiohead, Throbbing Gristle, and Yazoo) to create something that they collectively ask: is it just shit or ‘the shit’? — as of April 7…
Whatever way anyone chooses to read into the titling of THE SH*T SYNTH as the latest entry into The Crow Hill’s ongoing ORIGINS series of sample-based virtual instrument plug-ins, one thing is for sure: it readily represents a broad selection of three categories of 16 workhorse instruments each, effectively wrapped up into a single plug-in designed to bring a cohesive approach to making music more edgy, lo-fi, retro, and — swimming against the technological tide of so-called progress — decidedly AI (Artificial Intelligence) slop-free. From pianos to strings, plucks, beeps, bass, and pads, the compendium that is THE SH*T SYNTH has been lovingly sculpted by the Edinburgh-based enterprise’s media composer and ‘samplist-in-residence’ Christian Henson to take the hassle out of making existing sounds less refined, catering to those looking for an entirely new bank of Mellotron-style sounds as well as synths that have been long forgotten — for good reason, too!
"The UDO Domino *is here… and it might be one of the most interesting hybrid synths we’ve seen in years. In this full demo, review, and walkthrough, I explore what makes this *8-voice hybrid polysynth so unique — from its dual synth architecture to its incredibly flexible filter section and deep modulation capabilities.
With FPGA oscillators, analog-style waveforms, 32 digital waves, and a powerful dual-engine design inspired by classic SEM-style layouts, the Domino sits somewhere between vintage character and modern sonic experimentation. And yes… it can get beautifully weird.
In this video, you’ll hear real-world sound demos, explore the interface, and see how far you can push this synth — from lush pads to aggressive, experimental textures.
🎛️ What you’ll learn in this video:
Overview of the UDO Domino architecture
Dual synth engines (Domino 1 & 2) and layering possibilities
FPGA oscillators + digital waveforms
Deep modulation options (LFOs, envelopes, cross-modulation)
Advanced filter modes: low pass, band pass, high pass, phase & more
Stereo, parallel & series routing
Effects: chorus, drive, delay, reverb & EQ
Play modes, binaural mode & voice variations
Real sound demos and performance examples
🎧 Why this synth stands out
The Domino goes far beyond a traditional polysynth. With extreme flexibility in routing, modulation, and filtering, it behaves more like an experimental sound design tool than a conventional keyboard — while still being intuitive and hands-on.
🎹 My verdict
This isn’t just another synth — it’s a playable, exploratory instrument that encourages experimentation and rewards creativity. If you like synths that go beyond the obvious… this one’s worth a serious look."
