"An electronica piece built from twisting rhythm patterns and tightly repeating loops.

This piece was created with the volca fm2, TR-08, and OP-1 field.

On the volca fm2, two patterns are switched during playback while the NIGHTSKY adds filtering and reverb.

On the OP-1 field, a short-decay sequence is looped using the ENDLESS sequencer. A loop recorded with the MICROCOSM PHRASE LOOPER is layered over it while being played back in reverse.

On the TR-08, a rhythm pattern is played while the MOOD MKII applies pitch shifting.

"Ambient electronica built from autumn field recordings captured in Tokyo and delicate kalimba sounds.

This piece was created with the Prophet-10, OP-1 field, a tape loop, and field recordings.

The Prophet-10 is connected to the MICROCOSM, where deep reverb is applied while harmonies are performed.

On the OP-1 field, a kalimba sound is sampled and played using the ENDLESS sequencer. The MOOD MKII adds delay while micro loops are layered over the sound.

The tape loop uses an endless cassette with a one-minute recorded piano performance. The signal is processed through LOST+FOUND with delay and reverb.

The field recordings were captured on an iPhone in a park in Tokyo."

On the Prophet-10, harmonies are performed using a pad sound while reverb is applied through the MICROCOSM.

On the Grandmother, the arpeggiator is held while modulation is applied to the filter envelope amount.

On the OP-1 field, a synth lead is performed while modulation is applied through LOST+FOUND."

This piece was created with the Prophet-10, OP-1 field, and MS-20.

On the Prophet-10, synth pads are performed through the blueSky with reverb.

On the OP-1 field, phrases are played and gradually varied using the ENDLESS sequencer. The MOOD MKII layers micro loop effects over the sound.

Toward the end, a sustained MS-20 tone processed through the MICROCOSM reverb is layered into the piece while the filter cutoff on the Prophet-10 is gradually opened."

"Experimental electronica created with the Prophet-10, Moog One, Nord Lead, MS-20, OP-1 field, and Ambient Engine.

This is the 1000th entry in the Daily Sound Experiment series.

On the Prophet-10, synth pads are performed with reverb through the blueSky.

The MS-20 plays a bassline via MIDI sent from Ableton Live. During the intro, the filter resonance is adjusted in real time.

The Nord Lead and Moog One are performed by hand during the middle of the track.

The OP-1 field plays a rhythm pattern via MIDI from Ableton Live. Modulation is applied with the CWO effect, while the MOTHER effect adds gated reverb. The output is then processed through the MOOD MKII with additional pitch shifting and delay.

In Ambient Engine, sine wave samples are loaded and played as sustained tones while the MicroLoop effect is applied.

On this channel I explore many styles of music using field recordings, DIY instruments, and hardware.

On the YAMAHA CS01, a synth lead is performed while the MOOD MKII shifts the pitch and the ‪@strymon‬ TIMELINE adds delay.

On the OP-1 field, each press of the keyboard triggers a phrase from the ENDLESS sequencer. Modulation is applied using the built-in CWO effect.

The rhythm is created with Bent 505, a VST currently in development. With the Jitter switch enabled, the sound changes with every trigger."

On the modular synthesizer, a bass phrase and synth pad are played. Both sequences are controlled with ‪@MAKEN0ISEMUSIC‬ René. The synth pad is filtered through QPAS and processed with spatial effects using Mimeophon.

On the OP-1 field, a minimal phrase is played randomly using the ENDLESS sequencer. The output is processed through the MOOD MKII with delay while micro loops are layered over the sound.

The glockenspiel is recorded with an NT-4 microphone and a piezo element. The piezo signal is connected to the TX-6 for additional gain, EQ, and reverb."

On the modular synthesizer, the bassline uses the ‪@MAKEN0ISEMUSIC‬ STO as its oscillator. A metallic melody is created using FM with the ‪@instruo‬ CS-L as the oscillator. Both sequences are generated with René.

On the Prophet-10, synth pads are performed. The output is connected to the ‪@strymon‬ blueSky for reverb.

On the CP-88, the piano is performed with its built-in reverb applied."

On the LOTTIE CANTO Color Palette electric kalimba, the built-in delay is used while the MOOD MKII adds further delay and layers micro loops over the sound.

On the OP-1 field, a 16-bar piano performance is recorded and played back in reverse during the intro and outro. The built-in TERMINAL effect applies bit reduction, followed by reverb through the ‪@strymon‬ blueSky.

On the TR-808, the bass drum and snare are routed through separate outputs. The bass drum passes through the SANSAMP BASS DRIVER DI. The snare is processed through the NIGHTSKY with heavy reverb and filtering.

The master output is connected to the blueSky, allowing reverb to be applied to the overall drum mix.

On the OP-1 field, percussion sounds are glitched using a modulated delay created with the CWO effect.

On the TB-03, a bassline is looped while the filter is adjusted in real time.

The OP-1 field is used as the master clock. The TR-808 and TB-03 are synchronized via MIDI clock."

On the TENORI-ON, a sequence is looped and sent into the TX-6 with a small amount of reverb. The signal is then processed through the ‪@HologramElectronics‬ MICROCOSM with additional reverb and layered micro loops. The PHRASE LOOPER is also used to repeat phrases, which are then played back in reverse.

The YAMAHA MU15 provides a simple electric piano sound that is processed through the MOOD MKII to generate micro loops and add delay. The signal is then passed through the ‪@strymon‬ NIGHTSKY, where filtering and reverb transform it into a more abstract texture."
