The magic auto-muting eurorack mixer: Eowave Supamix Demo
video upload by mylarmelodies
"In this demo I'll show you the unique@eowavemodular Supamix - a generative eurorack modular mixer. What's the trick? It can automate the on-and-off muting of channels, using voltage or gates. The pattern of muting is determined by an algorithm you choose, and makes it uniquely powerful for generative patches that play out by themselves, as well as co-ordinating buildups, drops and more.
One important feature I did not show - if you hold down a mute for half a second, it stays on no matter what automation is happening on the other channels. Useful for keeping one track running (eg. Drums) while others are switching on and off merrily."
The Supamix was announced back in May 2024.
Check with dealers on the right for availability.

Eowave Quandrantid Swarm - Hybrid semi-modular Synthesizer
video upload by Nacho Marty Meyer
"The Quandrantid Swarm is a digital synthesizer that features a percussive element to give it a unique sound. It contains a two-pole analog filter, an LFO with eight waveforms, and a spring reverb. The eight touch keys can be used as a mono keyboard, polyphonic keyboard or an eight-step sequencer.
The Quandrantid Swarm has MIDI and CV/Trig connectivity. Its normalized pre-patching allows you start creating immediately, but its semi-modular design allows you to use patch cables to explore the potential of this instrument."

Deep-Fried Filters | Getting more from your Filter(s).
video upload by Cinematic Laboratory
"For the record, I am not really 'frying' anything. In this video I'd like to show you a few examples of feedback patching and create your own 'VCO' by frying raw voltage.
It's also a good moment to think about 'what could be the best filter for you'. I am using a simple checklist that can help you decide. A great filter can be like an instrument on its own and you should be able to make an album with just a filter. I'd say it should be dual or quad core, it should self-oscillate, it should have analog drive and multiple modes/outputs. Preferrably these modes should be CV controlled. I have my preferences, but please ignore those. If you can't make a choice and you're completely lost, definitely check out a Blades clone, the Doepfer stereo multimode filter, Vostok Atlas and Eowave's Tempete Magnetique quad filter. F*cking rabbit hole..."

Fripper Tripper (Frippertronics with synths: DSI/Sequential Pro 2, Lyra-8, Boss RE-20, DD-20)
video upload by hypergol
"For Black Friday, I bought myself Boss DD-20 and RE-20 delay pedals specifically for exploring Frippertronics. They showed up yesterday and I promptly recorded my first jam. It starts with a simple 2 oscillator drone from the modular running through a spring reverb tank (1 Eowave Titan and 1 Roland 512 VCO) The melodies consist of different patches that I've made on the Pro 2, which is another recent purchase. A little further along I introduce the Lyra-8 into the mix, because anything experimental should probably include the Lyra. Unfortunately I didn't have its output level up high enough, and you can't really hear it in the repeats, which is a shame. Other than not getting output levels matched ahead of time, I'm pretty pleased with the result. The modular, Pro 2, and Lyra are also running through the Audiothingies Doctor A in parallel, which is set to a long ping pong delay and a very long modulated plate reverb. To add some tape warble, I fed an attenuated LFO from the Roland 540 module into the RE-20's expression pedal input, which adjusts the "twist" parameter. Everything runs through the DD-20 first, which has a delay time of 7.1 seconds and is set to the "modulated" delay type, then from there it runs into the RE-20. I wonder what it would sound like if the signal chain was reversed. I bet one could pull off mellotron strings vibes pretty easily with this setup."

Eowave - Ricochet (Very fun!)
video upload by NOISEBUG
"Eowave Ricochet is one fun module! Dynamic Trigs, quad-VCA with individual and sum outputs, quad decay envelope that can be "Linked" triggered at the end of the previous cycle, summed and cross-modulated.
This module is perfect for intricate percussive patterns. Add your favorite VCO and/or noise source, or use the built-in noise generator to get rolling rhythm, tight burst fills, and much much more.
The Ricochet can be expanded using the included jumper cable for twice the excitement. C\
Check out Ricochet at Noisebug
https://www.noisebug.net/products/eow..."
"The module's design is inspired by the way skipping stones bounce on the water, creating a versatile tool for crafting percussive sounds.
The exponential envelopes are specifically designed to generate dynamic percussive tones. The unique linking function connects the end of one envelope's decay to the trigger of the next, enabling the subsequent envelope to activate once the previous one ends. This innovative feature allows you to create ratcheted envelope.
A front-panel trimmer lets you adjust the threshold for triggering subsequent envelopes, while a rear header enables connecting two Ricochet modules together ,or linking the last envelope to the first. This feature transform the Ricochet to a weird sequencer where the steps length depend of the decay times.
Since Ricochet is fully analogic, trig inputs are velocity-sensitive, responding to a standard gates but also allowing attenuation to modify the envelope's velocity (you can play with the dynamic of your sound by attenuating the trigg input. Ricochet is also perfect to play with drum pads).
Each VCA features a gain control that can be pushed to achieve subtle saturation.
All envelopes and VCAs have separate outputs, but there are also mixed audio and envelope outputs. When an individual output is connected, it is removed from the mix. The decay modulation inputs are normalized between each other.
Last but not least, an analog noise generator is normalised to the first input, so you can use ricochet on it's own to create hi hat kind of sounds
MAIN FEATURES :
- Fully analog design so everything is responsive to the amplitude
- Unique linked envelopes feature
- Compact 4 envelopes 4 VCAs module
- Linkable to a second ricochet or looping back the last enveloppe to the first one
SOME APPLICATIONS :
- Envelope generator

- Envelope sequencer
- Trigg delay
- Burst generator
TECHNICAL DETAILS:

A patch technique for layering sound // first patch with the Eowave Tempete Magnetique
video upload by DivKid
"Here we have what was my literal first patch with the TempĂȘte Magnetique from Eowave. I really loved the Fluctuations Magnetique from Eowave and it was nice to see them build on that with the new module. While patching the filter I used a technique that I often do which is layering two sounds from a single oscillator into two filters with different modulation to get the sounds layered and dancing around each other. That technique is what we're exploring here.
BONUS EXCLUSIVES & SUPPORT //
Patreon supporters get a BONUS EXCLUSIVE PDF that outlines that exact patch showing modules and patch cable routings but more important that document also outlines the intentions, ideas and ways to expand on it. How to do eurorack filters different – Eowave TempĂȘte Magnetique
video upload by Monotrail Tech Talk
"The Eowave TempĂȘte Magnetique is a quad multimode filter with a lot of tricks up its sleeve. It can function as four independent filters, two creative filter pairs, or a single complex filter. Beside that it holds a build in cross-modulation section, an envelope follower, and a ping input. All that makes it a very versatile and interesting filter playground for sound design and exploration."
