"Scrolling through Reddit one day I came across a post about aftermarket +Drives. I thought it wasn't legit, or rather, I didn't know what to think.

Well, my Monomachines are the MKI variety, and I got them a long time ago, sans +Drives (which I didn't even know what they were at the time). I got mine really cheap, and of course, now surprised for what they go for. Anyway, I was always a little bummed that I didn't have the drives in mine, although it's not the worst thing in the world to use the computer to offload the patterns/data and start fresh.
Anyway - I bought these aftermarket +Drives for a really good price, got two of them. The folks over at MachineStore (SyntheticJudah specifically) are awesome and the whole process from start to finish buying these things and getting them (well packed) to my house, was really excellent.
"Some reworked and new tracks put together for a recent product performance/demonstration. Tracks start with a lighter/brighter feeling before transitioning to heavier/darker sound. The Novation Bass Station II and Sequential Take 5 were used for external synthesizers alongside backing tracks in Ableton, while the Novation Launch Control XL 3 was used for additional control/manipulation of tracks.

"I realised that I haven't recently tried using the looper in MIDIPan with MIDISID, and that's actually a lot easier now that the new version of MIDISID allows you to plug in a USB MIDI controller. Power and data with a single lead.
I chose a slow laid back beat, and used a lot of portamento, or glide. I'm using the Beebop minor scale for some interesting licks."
"Test of my Siel 80 synth. All synth sounds are from the Siel, sequenced with Ableton. I recorded the Siel onto multiple tracks but one of the tracks is being recorded live in the video whilst I tweak the Siel filter using Midi CC with a Max4Live device.
The kick and hat are not from the Siel.
"Here's an industrial dark modular synth performance by Chief Noisemaker Stephen McCaul.
The bottom case is a six voice case with Incus Iteritas Alia (2), Debel Iteritas Alia, Tymp Legio, Manis Iteritas Alia, Virt Iter Legio + Ampla Legio.
There is a Librae Legio for the percussion submix (paralleling the main mix) and an Electus Versio on a send. The rhythm sequencing is from an experimental prototype that isn't really product worthy.
Pitch sequencing comes from Opp Ned. And the Xer Mixa mixer ties it all together.
The top case is an effects rig for another project but i used a Fala Versio and a Yester Versio in that case for some additional effects.
