Sequentix CIRKLON 64 track MIDI Sequencer
Note: Auction links are affiliate links for which the site may be compensated.
via this auction
"From Sequentix:
Cirklon is a multi-track hardware sequencer, designed to be at the heart of your hardware MIDI, analogue or hybrid studio setup.
Continuing from where our P3 Sequencer left off, it retains the P3's unique step-sequencer capabilites, and adds an event-list pattern type ideal for polyphonic synth and drum parts, with event-list and drum grid editing.
The user-interface is based around a 240x64 pixel graphic LED display, 19 rotary encoders with push-switches, 2 assignable knobs, 35 high-quality Cherry keys with integrated LEDs, and a further 35 tri-colour status LEDs.
Cirklon has up to 64 tracks, user-configurable as 1 to 4 banks of 16.
There are 5 independent MIDI INs and OUTs to connect a large number of controllers and synths/sound modules while keeping MIDI latency to a minimum.
There is USB MIDI connectivity for DAW synchronisation, soft-synth control or MIDI pass-thru from a PC, and a DIN Sync output which can also be configured to connect an upcoming multi-channel analogue percussion trigger interface.
The 32-bit, 72MHz ARM Cortex CPU runs a proprietary sequencer engine to ensure optimum timing accuracy.
All MIDI ports are provided by hardware serial ports in the CPU core itself.
Pattern storage is comprised of 2MB battery-backed internal RAM, with internal flash and an SD/MMC card socket for data backup."

Live Patterns 2018 - a 21 minute selection of Cirklon scenes for a live performance 2018
Published on Aug 26, 2018 Luke Killen
"I played a short live set in Sydney this weekend. My last video was of the first quarter of the patterns which i've developed over the last few weeks, but there are a lot more, so decided that i'd string together the rest of the patterns which made to cut.
The set was only half an hour so i made about 20 minutes worth of patterns so i could linger and dub on certain sections.
There is no lingering and dubbing in this video just a string of scenes.
The setup is Cirklon sequencing a Eurorack Synthesiser and Clavia G2 modular synthesiser."

New Minimoog D and 3 Oberheim Filters (SEM Pro, Semblance and Telemark - K)
Published on Sep 24, 2017 martinjazz78
"Autumn melancholy is here ....at least in my improvised dawless, analogue and semi-modular synths track. Recorded live in one take, everything happening on the fly while playing, stereo output from my Motu interface only.
Gear used:
SEM Pro by Tom Oberheim (modern reissue)
Minimoog Model D (modern reissue)
Elements Synthesizer by Ken Macbeth
Taurus III Bass Pedals by Moog
Semblance by Analogue Solutions
Telemark-K by Analogue Solutions
Cirklon by Sequentix (hardware sequencer)
Roland Space Echo (vintage tape one)
Strymon Big Sky
There are four sequences running, each up to 16 steps with various random parameters, all of them are controlled by Cirklon hardware sequencer via midi:
1. Taurus III Bass Pedals
2. Semblance
3. Telemark-K
4. SEM Pro by Tom Oberheim. The sequence on Oberheim can be also understood as lead over the three remaining sequences.
Then there are random sounds that are self-generated by the Elements Synthesizer by Ken Macbeth and lead solo improvised on the new Minimoog Model D.
Although we have 3 Oberheim type filters in the video, I have to say that the ones on Analogue Solutions gear do sound and do behave differently than the one on SEM Pro. Probably no surprise, we are in analogue realm, where nothing is identical. As well, I believe I've somewhere seen an interview with Jonh Carpenter from Analogue Solutions, where he was saying that it wasn't his intention to copy SEM that his filter, oscillators etc. are purposely different.
For maximum enjoyment, I recommend good headphones or even better good speakers with subwoofer. Dive well into melancholy of autumn 2017 ;)"

Kingsday in Iceland
Published on Apr 26, 2014 Martin Peters·121 videos
"Today it is Kingsday in the Netherlands to celebrate the King. Also my son Mark is traveling to Iceland today for a short holiday. That should explain the title.
Anyways, this is an improvisation with the Cirklon sequencer and the Modular. There are 4 sequences going on. The first sequence is a 6-steps, transposed sequence using one Synthesizers.com Q106 VCO and the Q107 VCF. After that an 8-step sequence for the Rob Hordijk OSC HRM joins. And then an 8-step sequence using one Q106 VCO, the Corsynth C104 VCO an the Q150 VCF. I use the skip feature on the Cirklon to alter the this sequence. The fourth sequence is driving the Corsynth C105 which outputs noise to add some percussion to it all and uses the STG Soundlabs Digital Attenuator. The SSL 1250 Quad LFO is modulating the 3 sequences. Chords are playing on the Yamaha SY22 which is also connected with MIDI to the Roland SC-880.
Anne made the video with my iPhone. You can download the video and music from my website soon."

Friday the 13th Rock
Published on Dec 15, 2013 Martin Peters·117 videos
"Here a little tune I made last Friday the 13th. I hope you like it. There are three 16-step sequences from the Sequentix Cirklon. It starts with the Moog Prodigy. After that 2 voices from the Synthesizers.com Modular come in, each voice with only one Q106 oscillator. The sequences are transposed by the Cirklon 5 semitones and 7 semitones down. But I made alterations to the transposed sequences to make it sound less static. The strings are done on the Waldorf Q Keyboard and the solo on the Minimoog Voyager.
Anne used my iPhone 4 to film this video. The audio is recorded live from the stereo main mix on the Mackie Onyx 1620 firewire card using Reaper DAW.
You can download/see/hear the video and music from my website in about a week."

Enter Exit - TR-808, Oberheim OB-8, Juno 60, Microwave Rev A, TTSH sequenced by a Cirklon
Published on Nov 17, 2019 instantknut
"It's quite a while since my last video so I wanted to make an awesome return with ninjas, mannequins, trampolines and Lamborghinis. That did not work out.
And because I didn't work out either, wearing the tracksuit was not an option.
Instead you can see me noodling with some nice vintage synths. A triumph against perfection and crippling procrastination!
Synthesizers in this track: Oberheim OB-8, Roland Juno 60, Yamaha DX7, Waldorf Microwave, a Two Thousand Six Hundred. All sequenced by a Sequentix Cirklon. Drums from the Roland TR 808 and the tape delay is a Roland Space Echo RE-101.
Also check out my last album *Dinosaur Ballads* on http://www.solitud.de or the usual streaming sites."
