Zelda II - Palace Theme Cover on Synths (The Adventure of Link)
Published on Apr 29, 2020 GLASYS
"I recently played the NES Legend of Zelda games for the first time (they were the only ones in the series that I hadn't beaten) and I really loved the Palace/Temple theme in Zelda 2: The Adventure of Link. There's something really dark and mysterious about it that made me want to keep playing (and inevitably dying over and over).
Here's my live arrangement of the tune, and like in most of my arrangements, all sounds are performed simultaneously.
Gear used: Sequential Prophet XL and Pro 3, Studio Electronics Boomstar 4075, Arcadia controller (custom built for me by Matt Moldover), Native Instruments Battery 4."

Mario Blooper Meets Chase Bliss Audio Blooper
Published on Apr 22, 2020 GLASYS
"Messing around with the underwater theme from Super Mario Bros using the latest pedal from Chase Bliss Audio - Blooper. Blooper is a looper pedal unlike any other one I've seen, there are so many fun ways to modulate and mangle your loops.
I got this idea because I've been playing some Mario recently and the first thing that popped into my head when I got this pedal is those little squid creatures called Bloopers.
Gear used (other than blooper) - Sequential Prophet XL, Studio Electronics Boomstar 4075
#mario #supermariobros #blooper"

GLASYS - Sequential Prophet XL Performance
Published on Feb 13, 2020 Sequential
"Our friend GLASYS stopped by the office while on tour and we were lucky enough to have him play a few of his songs for us! www.youtube.com/c/glasys https://www.instagram.com/glasysmusic/
1. Sheik's Theme from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time - this patch uses both layers A and B in mono mode (8 voices). An expression pedal brings the higher pitched sparkle in and out while the mod wheel controls the cutoff of an underlying pad.
2. Saxophobe - this patch is based on a reversed sax sample that's modulating a sine wave's frequency. The actual sample isn't in the mix, only the sine.
3. Vinyl Piano - a piano sample that's frequency modulated by noise and an LFO with a slightly closed filter."
