"Took a break from work for a little Buchla doodling. The main lead sound is the 261e being FM'd by the mod osc. The location on the 222e controls the fm index. As I slide my finger up, it decreases the index and bends the pitch up. Everything is going through the 277c delay. The 261e is also going through the 297 infinite phase shifter. The R pad is controling a bit of timbre vibrato on the 261e via the 256e and modulemodule lfo."

Posted this one on MATRIXSYNTH-B earlier today and didn't really take notice of the VXExpanded label on it. I just thought it was a sticker like the one on the back. I just took another look at the pics and the listing and didn't find any additional info. I ran a quick search for it here on MATRIXSYNTH and found that I've never posted it before. I did a quick search on the internet for it and nothing but some expired listings on Craigslist for the VS-1680 and VS-880 came up.
Does anyone know know what it is?

"The ribbon & its pressure sensitivity and the tactile pad all work perfectly. I used it for both midi and CV applications (in Cubase7 and going directly into a Korg MS20 mini). I used the software that sets up the parameters of the ribbon (links can be found on the eowave site) on Windows8 and it works great as well. Cosmetically, it is quite good, only a few nicks here and there, none of which effect the playability.
These units are very hard to find, and I'm not sure they even make them anymore (originally it would be approaching $400 USD with euro shipping and handling costs). Alternatively, a Doepfer ribbon controller is $400, and a you don't want to know how much a used Moog ribbon is :)
I estimate that it would be around $30-40 to ship to Europe, but would need to calculate exactly depending on where the buyer is located.

Ribbon can be placed on a table or on a keyboard to add continuous play. Ribbon can also be hold like a cello neck or a guitar neck.
