flightofharmony Facehugger preorders and the last of the Blood Boxes
Facehugger ► Parasite video upload by flightofharmony
First a new video for Facehugger. Blood Box details further below.
"Using the Facehugger function generator to control Parasite Antifilter (compilation video).
Starting with a tone from Parasite, then adding a drone from the Infernal Noise Machine, and then using the Facehugger output to control the Mid Q CV input, with random noodlings from thereon.
Facehugger preorders are open now, details at https://flightofharmony.com/facehugge..."
via flightofharmony
"Facehugger: Pre-orders for the new Facehugger all-analog, vector-addressable, chainable, function generator are now open!
The alpha prototype has been built, corrected, and is fully working. The design has been updated and the next circuit board designs are almost complete. The beta and (hopefully) final PCBs will be ordered this week, and test units should be sent out to testers next week, and the production units are expected to ship mid-September."
And:
"Infernal Noise Machine Blood Box: It’s Summer, so it’s time to build the last of the desktop INM Blood Boxes. The first run sold out and now even the eurorack versions are gone, so this run is the very last of the V2 Infernal Noise Machines that will be built."
SSL1660 The Matrix Algorithmic Composer
video upload by John L Rice
"The Matrix Algorithmic Composer model 1660 from Synthetic Sound Labs was designed by Doug Slocum and programed by Harold Screven. It is directly inspired by the Triadex Muse which was invented about 55 years ago by Edward Fredkin and Marvin Minsky at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (M.I.T.) and was one of the earliest digital music sequencers ever created.

MFB Urzwerg Analog CV Gate Sequencer with Midi

"MFB Urzwerg analog CV Gate sequencer with Midi. Please note this is the original version of the Urzwerg and not the V2. I'm not exactly sure what the differences are between the 2, but I'm sure that you can find that info with a little research online. This V1 is priced much cheaper, and is a great little basic CV/Gate sequencer in perfect working order and great cosmetic condition. Comes with power supply.
The video included here [posted here] is a very old video that I posted years ago, that shows this actual Urzwerg in action, controlling both the SH-101 and the delay time on the EHX Memory Boy pedal, which has a CV input."

Soma Laboratory ENNER 2021 - Limited Edition Red

Panel layout below.
"LIMITED EDITION in red, hard to find in US
ENNER is a very expressive sound tool that can generate bits, pads, FX, noises, clicks, glitches, but also function as a cool vocal mic with built-in analog FX and much more! A musician with a rich imagination and who’s experienced in playing ENNER can perform an entire exciting gig using just this synth.
As an instrument, ENNER is a unique analog synthesizer with the key principle being that all signals that make sound pass through and are managed by your body. Your hands become the central part of the circuitry. Touching different contact pads with different parts of your fingers and palms with different amounts of pressure, letting signals pass through your body defines the mixing, volume, timbre, feedback and other parameters of synthesis. Human skin has much more complex electric properties than we think. Our skin provides not just resistance but also some capacitive properties and even nonlinear dependence of conductivity from current, its direction and time during which the current was applied. All of this affects the sound, making you the key part of the synthesis process.
All pots of ENNER are metallic and also function as inputs or outputs. Touching a pot can change not only the parameters but also patch the audio signals."

The Amorphic Process of Hardware Songwriting
video upload by EZBOT
"In this video, we dive into the unique and ever-evolving process of music creation. Don't be fooled, complexity isn't always the key to a hit track. Embrace the basics, keep it simple and let the music tell its story. Remember, there's no need to fear the basic ideas. Simple concepts can often turn into your greatest hits! Your need for complexity shouldn't ruin a good song. Remember, there's no need to fear the basic ideas. Simple concepts can often turn into your greatest hits! Your need for complexity shouldn't ruin a good song. Working with a rich lineup of hardware including the Elektron Octatrack (w/ FX template), Digitakt, Digitone, Syntakt, the Roland VT-4 vocoder, and the Roland TB-03, we explore how the 'limitations' of these tools can actually enhance the songwriting process.

5 Things you can resonate with the Roucha Legio stereo filter from Noise Engineering
video upload by Noise Engineering
"We're featuring 5 things the Roucha Legio stereo filter can do, and if you find this helpful, let us know in the comments!
0:08 Rhythmic Filter
0:44 Wobbleheads
1:22 Share Mono Filters
1:50 Tuned Resonance
2:31 Vox Simplicis
More about Roucha Legio: https://bit.ly/41JrbSW
We’ve gotten tons of requests for NE filters over the years, and Roucha Legio is our first dedicated release. The filter features lowpass, bandpass, and highpass settings and tracks frequency via the dedicated encoder and extremely accurate 1v/8va CV input. Roucha Legio’s CV-controlled resonance parameter can go from clean to acidy-squelchy for bassline joy. Add CV for filter sweeps that will knock your socks off. Of course, because it’s a Noise Engineering module, there’s a Fold knob. Add wavefolding to the signal chain before, after, or both before and after the filter.
We really like dramatic buildups and cuts, so we made it easy with Roucha Legio. Just tap the encoder to bypass; tap again to turn the filter on again. Want to automate it? Send a gate into the Bypass input. The filter will remain bypassed as long as a high gate is present."

cre8audio West Pest Semi-Modular Synthesizer
video upload by Bata
"Picked up a little semi-modular west coasty type thing from cre8audio in collaboration with Pittsburgh Modular. Neat little synth I mostly grabbed to help out with modulation duties for the other synths and for the patchable wavefolder. Pretty impressed after the first day. Will probably post a couple patches and jams if they turn out decent."

The Synthesis Technology E340 is a super-saw/sine oscillator capable of generating up to 8 waveforms per output. If you want massive bass and lead voices like the JP-8000 supersaw, or thick ambient drones as if played from a slow rotary speaker, the E340 is the perfect audio source for your synth patches.
Detune the swarm of oscillators using SPREAD or with randomly filtered noise using CHAOS and CHAOS BW (bandwidth). Reset the phase of all waveforms using the SYNC trigger input, which can use another oscillator to produce a sync-lead sound.
This module supports VCV Rack’s polyphonic cables, so with 16 voices, you can generate a total of 128 waveforms per output.
This VCV Rack software module uses the original firmware from the hardware Synthesis Technology E340 module.
