"One feature of the Mirage I’ve always liked was bringing in a simple wave and using it like a synthesizer. I think the Ensoniq EPS is actually a little more interesting because of how easy it is to edit the sample loop start and end to create completely glitched out sounds that can basically be played in real time, if a little awkward to manage at times with the buttons versus sliders/knobs. This is what I’m doing towards the end of this patch I made.

At the top of the village stands the church, one of the remnants that has been most spared by time. Built in the 11th century, it is made of heavy stones. Within these stones, centuries of history have accumulated.

Centuries of faith and hope; the sustenance of the pilgrim; those that propel forward but do not eliminate obstacles and do not offer a definitive abode.

Although devastated, the village is not part of the past,
and there are still a few lineages to bear witness to its
past existence.The descendants of the last farmer live
among the ruins, and we can still hear the sound of life
in the distance.

"Collaborative album recorded by American noise artists Richard Ramirez and Spike The Percussionist, released on colored vinyl in an edition of 100 copies. Includes poster and sticker.

'Pasolini On Parade' is a sonic collaboration from Richard Ramirez and SPIKE the Percussionist. The intense soundscape is an all-frequencies-at-once assault on the listener. The title of the project and the tracks are derived from the absolute horrific manner in which the director Pasolini was murdered. Influenced by some of the attention on his death which was brought to mind by COIL.

Richard Ramirez is an American noise music artist originally from Houston, Texas, recording and performing both as a solo artist and as part of several groups, including Black Leather Jesus, Priest in Shit, An Innocent Young Throat-Cutter, House of the Black Death, Martyr of Sores, Last Rape and the “static noise” solo project Werewolf Jerusalem. He is notable for being one of the earliest American harsh noise artists.

SPIKE the Percussionist is a noizician based in Houston, Texas with a very long association with the avant-garde music scene as well as the Rock and Electro industrial circles. His longest running project Astrogenic Hallucinauting is a black ambient drone and noiz generator delving into abstract soundscapes using bizarre synth devices as well as a large library of percussion instruments and inspiration from Chaos Magick. SPIKE also constantly works with many diverse bands and projects such as Fiddle Witch and the Demons of Doom, SaviorskiN, Unified Space and Doomstress."

"Using two keyboards from the Reface series as sound modules for the SHS-10 to play via MIDI. The SHS-10 has a MIDI out only, which can be connected to the Reface keyboards via a standard MIDI cable.

The pitch bend, sustain and vibrato controls on the SHS-10 all map to controls on the Reface. On the CS, vibrato controls the LFO depth, switching to its highest setting when pressed. Since the LFO can be assigned to pitch, filter, amp, there are a number of possibilities for sound design here. On the CP, vibrato controls modulation, which is a feature unavailable from the front panel of the CP itself.

All drums were Logic drum synth sounds.

I built my own version of Jan Östman's solina string synth. It's a 4 voice polyphonic MIDI controlled arduino nano synth and a simple 12dB analog low pass filter. It's great for pads and weirder digital sounds, perfect for lofi music.
