"In this video we see the Synton Fénix IId. It is built from a kit that was sent by Bert Vermeulen himself (Synton) to customers who had the opportunity to buy one around 2022.
The kit came with all the needed material. Bananas, knobs, wires etc. Only the PSU for the latest batch of kits had to be bought separately. You also had to build your on case (provisional one in this video).
I only changed a couple of components on the circuits. And it sounds great!"

"Are you an experienced Blipblox user? Maybe there are still a few functions you don't know about. In this video, we demonstrate some of the lesser known, but still very cool Blipblox features. All of these features are specific to the SK2 and After Dark models. The only features here that are available on the original white Synth for Kids is the Drum Edit and Drum Solo modes.

Summary of features described in this video:

-Hold 'RANDOMIZE' to 'un-randomize' a sound, so you can return to the last sound.

-Hold down 'Filter Mod' to change filter type. There are 3 filter types: Lowpass, Bandpass, and Highpass. This changes how the Filter lever affects the sound.

-Hold down 'CTRL2' while adjusting the Filter lever to modify the Filter Resonance. Resonance emphasizes the audio at the filter cutoff frequency, creating a 'squeaky' sound.

-Hold down 'CTRL1' while adjusting the Filter lever to modify the Delay Effect. The effect adds a spacey echo sound.

-Hold down the 'KICK' button, and press 'SEQ' activates Drum Solo mode. This turns off the synth engine, so you only hear the drums

-Hold down the 'SNARE' button while pressing 'RANDOMIZE' enters Drum Edit mode. In this mode, 'LFO1' changes the pitch of the Kick Drum, 'MOD1' changes the Kick Drum sound, 'MOD2' changes the Snare Drum sound, and 'LFO2' changes the Snare Drum Pitch. Hold down 'SNARE' and 'RANDOMIZE' to return to normal synth mode."

Viscount Cantorum are portable instruments offering authentic organ performance with an extremely simple to use interface. 4TOMS, the CUT input explained

"The Larix-Elektro 4TOMS is a bank of four tom generator.
With CV control of 3 parameters, and a stereo mixer.

But there is also a CUT input. What is it ?
When receiving a trig, it cuts the sound of the corresponding tom.

BONUS:
Even if 3 parameters is CV modulable, there is only on CV input. (see others video about how to extend the number of CV inputs).
If you don't need this CUT input, you can use it as a second CV input!"

"Four eurorack compatible effects units made up the Aira Effects range. The modules can be used as they are, but they can also be edited with a free editor provided by Roland, called Aira Customizer. Beneath the analog surface hides a collection of digital modules, which in fact turn each Aira effects module into a self-contained Modular System.

The Aira effects were not available for a long time, and they are today no as popular as they should be, imho. My guess is that Roland never managed to show the real capabilities of the Aira effects to the potentially interested people. For instance, the fact that the editor stopped working on modern computers didn’t help"

"I am working on a new video which will take some time to finish. While experimenting I got seriously distracted by Strega again. Like it or not, here's another video about the Witch. I ran the sub output into the pre-amp and turned down the pitch to a decent BPM for techno, which is about 125.5 in this session. I pushed the pre-amp and output as far as I could, dialed in the delay into a rumble and ended with a mean, dark, menacing techno beat.

At some point I got a steady pulse and produced two more takes around it. I added a screaming drone, a super simple 125.5 drum loop from a VST and some basement reverb. It's probably one of the heaviest industrial tracks I ever made."

But last week they sent their new Centaur's Gates that I was very curious about. Here is my first jam with it, in a very "Wect Coast" style, using both sides of the modules as Low Pass Gates in serie (it's a thing I do often).

Flancher 5 for dark delays and Fostex 3180 on the spring reverb duty.
