gen one (Cycling '74 M driving Korg OASYS PCI on OS9 G4 Mac)
video upload by Analog Industries
"Tuning my OS 9 music machine; playing with Cycling '74's excellent (and first, I think?) generative music application, M, driving the Korg OASYS PCI card. The card is running two virtual analog synths and a 2 OP FM synth, along with a hall reverb and Dan Phillips' excellent SD3000 emulation. The audio is recorded directly from the analog output of the card."

NGEN 1.2 Demo #1 - Garage [Sounds Only]
video upload by Spektro Audio
"This is an edited version of one of the NGEN demos originally recorded for the NGEN 1.2 update video: [posted here]
In this demo, we're using NGEN to create a UK Garage-inspired song using multiple NGEN generators and Ableton Live 12.
NGEN is connected via USB to the computer and we've set each instrument track in Live to receive MIDI from a different MIDI Channel coming from NGEN.
The main drums are being sequenced by DrumGen (using the new Garage template) while the other tracks (bass, chord samples, and percussive synth) are sequenced by the ACDGEN and Arper generators. During the performance, we're also switching between previously generated patterns and generating completely new patterns using the Pattern Generation feature.
NGEN is a unique 16-track MIDI sequencer design in São Paulo / Brazil that lets you combine multiple algorithmic / generative generators and MIDI FXs to sequence multiple hardware or software MIDI instruments.

"Cluster is our take on the workflow of the versatile Buchla 200 series control-voltage processor- model 257- with some marked improvements and options. Missing is the cool equation, but we kept some arrows and replaced the variables with LEDs :) We've also added a voltage-controlled “polarizer” (4 quadrant multiplier), an extra processing / mixing channel and routing options that make it an extremely flexible and more compact tool for the dense Eurorack environment..
Cluster is a precision 8HP processing toolbox that can sit anywhere in a system. It has 3 independent sections that can be used individually or taken as a whole. Up to 4 signals can be mixed and there is also a complementary sum output. Potentiometers are center-detented for easy tactile centering. Signal path is high bandwidth, low noise and low offset- and is well-suited for both audio and control signals.
Each section can be used independently vis-a-vis independent outputs and a subtractive normalization scheme- This means if you need to grab a crossfader (or just use it as a VCA/ ducker) it’s there, and you’ve still got the polarizer (XY) and another processing channel (Z) mix to work with.
XY (polarizer channel)
The top section is a voltage-controlled “polarizer” or more accurately, a four quadrant multiplier.. It multiplies two signals, “X” and “Y” . The X(Y) output is the product of these two sources. Unpatched, the Y input is normalized to an offset voltage, and thus will act as a standard processing channel when unpatched, giving X*1 when fully CW and X*-1 fully CCW. Patching a source into the Y INPUT defeats this normalization, and the “Y AMT” knob will now scale (multiply) the source patched into Y, giving Y*1 when fully CW and Y*-1 fully CCW. This is useful in that it allows the top section to be easily patched as a standard VCA with a positive going CV. A bicolor LED indicates output amplitude and polarity.
A->B (crossfader channel)
The middle section is a linear crossfader. The knob and A->B CV input sum, and select A to B and anywhere in between.
The ‘REF’ toggle, when engaged, routes a selectable offset to INPUT A’s normalization- This allows you to use the crossfade channel as a voltage "mirror", for instance. LEDs indicate the relative crossfade position.
Z (attenuverter/ offsetter channel)
The bottom section is simply another processing channel with an offset normalled to it’s input, acting as a manual offset control when unpatched. Patching into Z defeats this normalization, and Z AMT knob will now multiply the Z input, giving Z*1 when fully CW and Z*-1 when fully CCW. A bicolor indicates output amplitude and polarity.
SUM OUTPUTS
There are two SUM outputs, “∑” and the complementary “-∑” . The SUMs are a summation of the three processing sections. Patching any of the three sections’ outputs independently removes them from the SUM outputs. This scheme allows for flexibility using the channels independently, for example, using Z as an offset voltage someplace in a patch- as well as prevents loopback issues when patching Cluster back into it's self- if, say, for instance you wanted to use XY as a ring-mod and send it to one of the crossfade inputs to have a VCA'd ring-mod, or vice-versa, you won't be adding XY to the SUM twice."
Does Roland MKS-20 have most beautiful electric piano sound ever made?
video upload by Espen Kraft
"The Roland MKS-20 electric piano module from 1986. The module version of the RD-1000. I think this (voice #7) is the most beautiful electric piano sound. With the inbuilt analog chorus (Dimension D) the sound is lush, sweet and heaven.
All done live. No overdubs or sequencing.

Behringer Neutron Patches: Lead, Bass, Pluck. Sound Demo
video upload by Anton Anru
"Analog Fury is a collection of 50 patches: 18 Leads, 16 Basses, 16 Plucks.
This is my second sound bank for Behringer Neutron.
The previous one, Modular Setup, focused on experimental tones that showcased the modular nature of the synthesizer. This time, I aimed to find a balance between experimental and more usable sounds.
I didn't want to create simple, classic patches — Neutron's functionality and rich sound palette made it irresistible not to push its limits. At the same time, I tried to keep myself in check and avoid diving too deep into purely experimental territory.
🧲 Get the soundset: https://bit.ly/3M4zAL9
The presets feature various colors: warm, noisy, detuned, distorted, as well as mild, clean, soft, punchy, dark, bright, deep, and airy. Some timbres are great to play the first role in tracks or jams, while others will work perfectly as additional parts.
You may use the patches as they are, but I strongly recommend tweaking the knobs to develop the timbre during your performance and get an exciting experience.
Plucks are excellent for use with arpeggiators or sequencers.
In most examples of this category, I utilize an arpeggiator. Neutron doesn’t have a built in arp/seq, but you may integrate your preferred arpeggiators or sequencers from your DAW or MIDI controller.
ModWheel is set in all patches. It adds brightness, changes the tone, accelerates the LFO, and other modulations depending on the patch.
The presets are suitable for a variety of genres, including: ambient, electronica, IDM, deep, techno, house, progressive, trance, lounge, downtempo, pop, chill out, new age, cinematic, breaks, synthwave, retrowave, dub and others.
The soundset is presented in the form of PDF-Document. Each page contains notes that explain how the patch works, what parameters are worth tweaking during playback, and how to develop the timbre during a performance. If you make all the settings consciously and try the things mentioned in the notes, you will learn a lot about the synth and discover its true depth.
Each patch has an audio example, it helps to understand how the timbre is supposed to sound. In this soundset, I didn’t use the Neutron's built-in delay. All audio examples are dry. You can add internal or external delay to your taste.
To recreate these patches, you will need up to 10 patch cables.
Drums from the demo are not included in the soundset."

"It is the only known instrument that you play without touching. Moving your hands in the space around its antennas controls pitch and volume. The Theremini combines a powerful sound engine derived from Moog’s award-winning synthesizer, Animoog, with the traditional no-touch playing of a Theremin. The Theremini’s sound engine captures the vast sonic vocabulary of Moog synthesizers and effects allowing for an infinite range of styles and tones. The front panel features a multi-function LCD screen that displays a chromatic tuner with real-time feedback on each note as it is played. This is a useful tool for correcting a player’s position and pitch for each note. The Theremini also features a portable design with tabletop feet, bottom nesting pitch antenna, and a built-in speaker for quick setup and rehearsal anywhere.

"This is a great synth. Rated as fair due to some scratches - shown in photos - and a bend tape that drops a semitone when engaged - the rest of it is in working order. Has the hard top cover, and leg assembly with soft case. The case is old and the zipper is partially pulled, but still carries fine without it."

Isobutane - Remember Me (2006)
video upload by Isobutane
"There were times when my only piece of equipment was the Yamaha RM1x. While going through some old floppy discs I’ve came across some really old tracks from around 2005-2007. I was surprised how playful and full of energy these are. Technically and soundwise they are all pretty funky but I was really stunned by the liveliness of these old projects. So I’m like…yeah let’s share em. Maybe some people will even remember some of these from the past live shows. Shees that was ages ago… Ok, let’s go. 6/7
This is called Remember Me and it was made in 2006."
