Modified Digitech PDS1002

Published on Jan 25, 2017 BugBrand

"A quick & dirty demo of the PDS1002 pedal I'm passing on.. With sounds from TR606.
Several years ago I added 8 switches which mess with the 8bit delay core.
8 data lines which you can switch on (up), off (middle) or set to cross-patch (down). Most extreme effects (massive degradation) from the first switch (top left), becoming more subtle as you progress leftwards - the lower row really do very little.
Can I remember the exact mod I did? NO! And I can't now find a PDS1002 schematic but it would basically be attacking the 8 datalines from the digital delay core."

More Distortion!

Published on Jun 1, 2016 HardtekStudios

"I have wanted to do this video for a while now. The Arturia Microbrute is 1st going into the Boss Hyper Fuzz, then the DOD Death Metal distortion, then the Digitech Grunge and finally the Digitech Weapon. In case you are wondering, then is about half of my distortion pedal collection, but if I added more distortion pedals, it would have gotten too messy."

GeoSynths Ep6 - Digitech iStomp on Synthesizers

Published on May 27, 2016 GEOSynths

It's a blank Canvas, where you load in the effect you want. Isn't a bad little thing and if you can pick up cheap, then great. At first they charged for each effect, but they're now all (mostly) free. Works with IOS 9"

DigiTech iStomp Quick Demo with Synthesizer and Drum Machine

Published on Aug 3, 2014 zibbybone

"I recently picked up a 3 pack of iStomp pedals for my synths. These pedals are a great idea to keep down unnecessary inventory by being able to download a different effect into a pedal in about 30 seconds.

In this video I start off running a Roland Juno 106 (chorus turned off) through 2 pedals: one with "Stone Phase" (a Small Stone Phaser emulator) and the other with "Double Cross Delay" which is a ping-pong type delay that allows you to control the delay ratio of left and right sides.

Next, I load "Vintage Tape Delay" in place of "Double Cross" and continue to demo on the Juno

Last, I hook up a Korg MonoTribe up to the pedals and download "Dirty Robot" in place of the "Stone Phase". The Dirty Robot is a filter effect similar to the MF-101 Moogerfooger.

I'll try to demo more of these effects soon, so stay tuned!"

Thy Weapon Cometh

YouTube Published on Jul 16, 2012 by JohnLRice

"Once again, I started testing a new module and was having too much FUN to worry about doing a proper demo! ;-) This time it was a prototype of the new Synth Tech E440 voltage controlled low pass filter. It sounds awesome and I'm sure it will become the go-to weapon-of-choice filter in many people's eurorack modulars!!!

The E440 is used for the fat bass sound and is also multed through a WMD Geiger Counter module for the distorted doubling. (The nasal wailing distorted parts are from a Kazooka run into the mixer with a Digitech harmonizer on the insert.)"

a fresh start 2011 - Moog Little Phatty + Looper

YouTube via hyperdust7 | January 01, 2011 |

"I decided to write a track today for the New Year 2011. All sounds played live on the Moog Little Phatty. Through a Digitech looper pedal, a Mad Professor phaser and an Electro-Harmonix Memory Boy. Some reverb echo and compression on Cubase. May the Spirit of Life which runs through all the Universe be in you this year and bless you."

modify the DigiTech RDS delay

YouTube via EA78751 | November 26, 2010 | 1 likes, 0 dislikes

"This box rules, but I have one complaint.... it has an automatic mute function that interrupts the flow of sound when buttons are pressed to change mode... bleh! pointless... but if you cut two leads this box is able to make a nice wall of sound.

Then plug an external LFO (5V) into the REPEAT/HOLD jack and freak out.

Digitech RDS 7.6, RDS 1900, RDS 3.6, RDS 2001 digital delay FX units all share the same PCB so this mod should work for any of them."

This time Battery 3 layered with Analog factory starts it followed by Arturia MOOG MODULAR v2 bass. Then Native Instruments MASSIVE and BFD2 monster drums. Kind of sounds like the world is ending at a disco to me....."
