Eventide H90 + 0-Coast // The New Granular Engine!
video upload by Dexba
"Almost only the pedal is audible, bleah
That's the point!
Eventide recently came out with a surprise update, adding a completely new (and FREE, wow!) granular engine to the H90. For this video, I loaded two instances in parallel, one running the Cosmic Web algorithm (and as soon as you hear the video, you'll immediately understand why it's called that), and the other running Glitch, for those sparkly textures you hear here and there.
«but Dexba, you didn't even patch the Make Noise 0-Coast», yeah, exactly, because in this video the instrument is the Eventide H90, and I wanted the simplest (but best sounding) source I could use.
Plus, you get to experience a slow 0-Coast for once, since most of the other videos are focused on its plucking capabilities ;)
I hope you'll like it! ๐งก"

1/1/25 Roland TR-606 & RE-301 + Dytronics Cyclosonic Panner + Eventide H3000b
video upload by Cfpp0
"First video of 2026. We sold so much stuff in the past few years and shifted as much stuff around that some of the patch bays were in need of an audit. This video was a test of several different pieces of outboard gear that have been rewired to consolidate the bays, including the very rare Dytronics Cyclosonic Panner. It is a lot like the ADR Pan Scan, but with more options for movement, plus two inputs and four outputs. The Roland TR-606 is clocked by Pamela’s anew Workout at 140, and the TR-606 output is multiplied, with one copy going to the A input on the Cyclosonic Panner and the other copy going to the Roland RE-301 with the dry signal cancelled. The delayed RE-301 signal goes to the B input on the Cyclosonic Panner, with three of its outputs going to the Mackie Onyx 1640. Those signal are all panned differently, and sent to an aux running to the Eventide H3000B for some pitch shifting."

Solist ๐ธ(Roland JD08 + Bigsky + Pill // SE02 + H90 // TR6S // Erica Synths DB01 Bassline + Lethargy)
video upload by 2-Minute Warning
"Let's go for a 5-Minute Warning video, with some real-time guitar-like sound solo playing! ๐
0:00 - Scene 1: Intro starts with the STRINGS (JD-08), ARP (SE-02) and DRUMS (TR-6S)
0:46 - Scene 2: DRUMS knob reload for big sound + BASS (DB-01)
1:17 - Scene 3: SOLO 1 improvised (JD-08)
2:02 - Scene 4: Bridge
3:04 - Scene 5: SOLO 2 improvised (JD-08)
3:50 - Scene 6: Outro
Some tips used here:
TR6S (DRUMS): I used the 'KIT KNOB RELOAD' feature to get back to the big drum sounds as it was saved in the kit (I previously moved the knobs to pitch up/down and reduce the decay of all the sounds for the intro)
TR6S (DRUMS): the VINYL SIM effect is used on the TR6S' master bus to heavily compress the DRUMS
TR6S (DRUMS): I used the internal LFO to modulate a few parameters on the DRUM tracks to add some subtle variations
KEYSTEP PRO (Sequencer): I used the Chain feature to chain 2 patterns in order to have an 8-bar pattern for the ARP sequences
KEYSTEP PRO (Sequencer): I used the Scene feature to load different patterns and mutes in one time (to switch to the bridge for example)"

Tranquil Micro Worlds & Ambient Electronica | Live Music + Microscopic Creatures
video upload by Saul Stokes
On this episode of Frequensea, I build a live electronic track to coincide with microscopic videography created by Geoffrey Attardo, Ph.D. Geoffrey is an Associate Professor at the Department of Entomology and Nematology at UC Davis in California. Halfway through the performance, I talk about how the videos were made and what Wetland they are from, along with a short conversation about some older musical gear that found new life in my studio.

Subboom ๐ฅ (Moog Subharmonicon + Microtubes X + Bigsky // Cre8audio Boom Chick + Lethargy + H90)
video upload by 2-Minute Warning
"This is my second jam featuring the Boom Chick 5-voice analog drum machine ๐ฅ
Digging a little bit further this time by using 2 patterns (with chance/probability etc.) and its handy individual outputs going through some pedals (Dreadbox Lethargy Phaser + Eventide H90 Vintage Delay and Plate Reverb)!
So the Boom Chick is playing all the drum parts and the Subhamonicon the harmonic parts (BASS & ARP/LEAD). The Subharmonicon is synced to the Boom Chick with its analog clock.
The challenge here was mainly to try to get out of the 4-step sequences inherent to the Subharmonicon ๐
So I changed in real-time one of the knobs of the sequencer to play random melodies, and used another method by turning the FREQ knob of VCO 2.
Still haven't really read the Boom Chick's manual though (just had to dig into it to better understand how "chance" worked exactly)."

4/8/25 (octaves overlay) SWTPC Psych-Tone + ADR Pan Scan + Eventide H3000B
video upload by Cfpp0
"4/8/25 (octaves overlay) SWTPC Psych-Tone + ADR Pan Scan + Eventide H3000B
Do people still have stereos at home, with two speakers? The SWTPC Psych-Tone synthesizer is running through the ADR Pan Scan, and its stereo outputs are hard-panned on the Mackie Onyx 1640 mixer. The Eventide H3000B is on an auxiliary send, fed by both channels. The Pan Scan rate is close to, but not the same as, the rate of the Psych-Tone sequence, which creates the random feel of the automatic panning. The H3000B delay fills the center of the stereo field. I recorded the same sequence in three videos, each with a different range setting, and they are overlaid here."

When Silence Fell
video upload by peter m mahr
"This is the start of a long-held dream — to combine my photos with my music, letting each frame have its own soundtrack.
WHEN SILENCE FELL
A weekend tucked away in the mountains. Two souls meet in solitude, expecting a quiet evening. But sometimes, silence breaks — and words change everything.
When Silence Fell — a moment suspended between shadow and truth. This photo was taken in Toggenburg, Switzerland. The moment I snapped it, I knew right away how it should look — like in an old black-and-white Hitchcock movie.
Let the music and image tell the story you didn’t see coming.

Making Nuclear Music with Hainbach
video upload by Anthony Marinelli Music
"Join me for a rare opportunity to step into the incredible world of Hainbach at his studio in Berlin—filled with vintage nuclear test equipment he’s brilliantly turned into musical instruments… and plenty of other wild synthesizers!
Hainbach is known for making haunting, immersive soundscapes using everything from lab gear to tape loops to modular synths. His music feels like it's from another dimension—organic, rich, hypnotic and totally captivating. In this video, I explore his unique setup and we dive into a completely new palette of sounds together. It was inspiring to see how he breathes life into machines that were never meant to make music… and to try my hand at making "nuclear music" myself.
If you're into experimental sound design, synths, or just curious how scientific gear from the Cold War can become part of modern composition—this is something you’ve got to see (and hear)."

Dual Monomachine IDM with new aftermarket +Drives from MachineStore
video upload by MIDERA
"Scrolling through Reddit one day I came across a post about aftermarket +Drives. I thought it wasn't legit, or rather, I didn't know what to think.
This is the thread: / wts_drive_extension_for_elektron_machinedrum
Well, my Monomachines are the MKI variety, and I got them a long time ago, sans +Drives (which I didn't even know what they were at the time). I got mine really cheap, and of course, now surprised for what they go for. Anyway, I was always a little bummed that I didn't have the drives in mine, although it's not the worst thing in the world to use the computer to offload the patterns/data and start fresh.
Anyway - I bought these aftermarket +Drives for a really good price, got two of them. The folks over at MachineStore (SyntheticJudah specifically) are awesome and the whole process from start to finish buying these things and getting them (well packed) to my house, was really excellent.
Here's some other places to find their stuff:
/ aftermarket_drive_for_machinedrum_monomachine
/ discord
I'm looking forward to whatever they release next. You should check them out if you have Elektron gear :)
Used Eventide Blackhole VST for reverb."
