Dark Matter Audio DMA1

Those aren't iPads. Videos below.

"The ultimate music production and performance tool.
The landscape for the creative artist in any audio environment is about to leap into a new future with the arrival of new UK company Dark Matter Audio and its revolutionary debut product: DMA1. This incredible audio device is anything you want it to be – guitar effects processor, high quality studio tool or performance instrument – thanks to its open architecture and Online Store that lets you wirelessly update DMA1 with a growing range of pro audio apps.
DMA1’s capabilities are extensive: a compact multi-FX processor that can also act as a digital multitrack recorder, MP3/4 player, MIDI interface, (up to) 5.1 digital mixing desk…
Much like a Smart Phone, musicians and producers will be able to wirelessly download applications to make DMA1 into a drum machine, sampler, loop recorder, digital patchbay, video tutorial device, chord and scale matcher, database of transcribed music, lyric organizer, composition sketch tool…
But unlike today’s explosion in Smart Devices, DMA1 is built from the ground up for music making and is entirely focused towards musicians and producers, while rugged construction means it can be used anywhere – on stage, on the road, in the studio and even in outside broadcast situations. It’s been designed without compromise, featuring both high quality audio processing power – by way of a SHARC and an ARM processor for the user interface – and professional connectivity, while the 7-inch Touchscreen makes for quick, intuitive hands-on control, making DMA1 inspirational to use with professional results every time.
With its innovative design, DMA1 really exploits the future of music making, performing and recording. DMA1 is the ultimate studio and performance tool… right there at your fingertips.
Dark Matter Audio CEO Jon Stuart said: “with DMA1 we’ve endeavored to create a paradigm shift in the world of audio production and performance. DMA1 is the future of audio and music production precisely because it can be any future that a musician or producer could want. This is a very exciting time for us, and for music production generally, and I’d like to take this opportunity to thank the team for their ceaseless toil (bar the occasional spot of skiing) to make DMA1 the revolutionary product that it is.”
Alan Greensall, Dark Matter Audio CBDO, said: “in my 35 years in this industry I have only ever come across revolutionary products like this two or three times. This industry is in need of the next big shake up, and we are dead set on making sure its Dark Matter Audio leading the way.”

Just a Minute - SOMA TERRA #1

video upload by Stefan Tretau

"These are my first steps with the TERRA from SOMA. I am far from mastering the instrument. Nevertheless, I am sharing my first musical experiences because I believe that it is a unique instrument that anyone, whether amateur or professional, can have fun with. Since I typically rely on programmable sequencers and DAWs, TERRA comes as a refreshing change. The intuitive user interface makes playing effortless and inspires you to break new ground. Let's see where the TERRA-journey takes me...

I used a Neunaber Immerse Reverberator on the TERRA outputs to have the internal effect (such as the delay) and a secondary reverb effect. I also added a looper pedal to loop certain phrases.

If you hear any crackling, cracking or clipping, it's due to my (to be optimized) audio system and not the TERRA itself."

New Doepfer Modules Coming to SUPERBOOTH

Avialable in black and silver.

Module A-121s is a dual multimode filter which can be used for stereo applications as well as for parallel or serial organized dual mono filters. The core is a 12dB multimode filter identical to the modules A-121-2 and A-121-3. The selection of the filter type is continuously from lowpass via notch and highpass to bandpass. We attached great importance to the usability of the manual controls and CV inputs for both stereo and dual mono applications. For the filter parameters frequency (F), resonance (Q) and type (T) common controls and CV inputs as well as single controls and CV inputs are available. For the filter frequency in addition a manual control and CV input for the filter spread (frequency difference or delta F) is available.

Controls:

F: master frequency control for both filters (large knob)
Type 1 / Type 2: filter type panning/morphing L-N-H-B
Link to 1: Toggle switch so that Type 1 also controls type of filter 2 (i.e. simultaneous filter type control for both filters)
SFM1 / SFM2: Single Frequency Modulation controls (polarizers), connected to the corresponding sockets SFM1/SFM2 (socket SFM1 is normalled to a fixed positive voltage, SFM2 is normalled to SFM1, that way the controls SFM1/SFM2 work as frequency controls for each filter provided that no modulation signals are patched to the SFM1/SFM2 sockets)
CFM: common frequency control, controls two VC-polarizers which process the signals connected to the two sockets CFM1/CFM2, CFM2 is normalled to CFM1, that way also the same modulation signal (e.g. an envelope generator) can be used for both filters and the level controlled simultaneously by the CFM control
Delta F: controls the difference between the frequencies of the two filters manually (frequency "spread"), at center position the frequencies are the same
Delta FM: controls the level of the Delta FM signal (socket), which allows to control the spread between the frequencies also by an external control voltage (e.g. by an LFO or ADSR)
Q: controls the resonance of both filters simultaneously
Level 1 / Level 2: attenuators for the two audio inputs
QM/TM1, QM/TM2: attenuators for the modulation inputs QM/TM1 and QM/TM2
Sockets:

In1 / In2: audio inputs (In2 is normalled to In1)
Out1 / Out2: audio outputs
F: common frequency control input for both filters (~ 1V/oct)
Delta FM: Control voltage for frequency spread, processed by the polarizer Delta FM
SFM1 / SFM2: single frequency modulation inputs, processed by the polarizers SFM1 and SFM2, SFM1 is normalled to a fixed positive voltage, SFM2 is normalled to SFM1#
CFM1 / CFM2: common frequency modulation inputs, processed by the two voltage controlled polarizers controlled by CFM knob, CFM2 is normalled to CFM1
QM/TM1, QM/TM2: the addressing of these sockets/attenuators is defined by internal jumpers. QM means Q modulation (i.e. resonance modulation), TM means filter type modulation (QM1 = resonance modulation filter 1, QM2 = resonance modulation filter 2, TM1 = filter type modulation filter 1, TM2 = filter type modulation filter 2), socket QM/TM1 is normalled to a fixed positive voltage, QM/TM2 is normalled to QM/TM1
A 45 degrees triangle next to a socket means that the switching contact of the socket is normalled to a fixed positive voltage.
A vertical triangle indicates the normalling of two sockets.

By means of small circles at the bottom right side of the front panel the user can mark the function of the QM/TM inputs. These assignments are possible:

QM/TM1 controls QM1, QM/TM2 controls QM2, the filter types are not controlled by external CVs
QM/TM1 controls TM1, QM/TM2 controls TM2, the resonances are not controlled by external CVs
QM/TM1 controls QM1 and QM2 simultaneously, QM/TM2 controls TM1 and TM2 simultaneously
Applications:
Stereo filter: two different audio signals are connected to the audio inputs. At the outputs appear the filtered signals. The filterings depend upon the positions of the manual controls and the applied control voltages.
Serial mono filter: the mono signal is applied to audio input 1. Audio output 1 is connected to audio input 2. The filtered mono signal appears at audio output 2. One has to pay attention that the filter parameters are set in a way so that a signal will appear at the output. If for example a lowpass and a highpass are daisy chained the frequency of the lowpass has to be higher than the frequency of the highpass. Otherwise no signal will appear at the output.
Parallel mono filter: the audio signal is fed to both audio inputs (e.g. via the normalled sockets In1>In2). By means of a mixer module the audio outputs 1 and 2 are mixed.
The sketch below shows the internal structure of the module in detail.

Release date: about June 2022 (without obligatiion)
All specifications are still preliminary and without obligation !

Eurorack Modular Demos by Brandon Logic

Published on Oct 2, 2016 brandon logic

Playlist:
1. Reflex Liveloop use as a sampler demo.

2. Epoch Twin Peak vs the Klangbau Twin Peak filter. Filter sound comparison.

"From 0 to 3:45 i'm filtering a square wave from the Sputnik Oscillator through the Klangbau then through the Epoch. from 3:45 to 8:40 i'm using only triggers from Mutable Instruments Grids into the audio inputs of the filters (and multing to mod a and b of the Epoch). Here, the Epoch is panned hard left and the Klangbau hard right. from 8:40 untill the end, it's back to the sputnik square and some random wiggling of both filters at onece, still panned hard left and right.

Recording is completely dry, no effects or eq. In this demo, i'm using animodule line amp as a buffered mult to split the signal going into the audio input of the epoch to also go into the peak a and peak b mod inputs of the Epoch. This is because this is similar to how the Klangbau's Tr-F1 adn Tr-F2 controls are internally wired. I am using channel two of the line amp to boost the output of the epoch because it tends to output below standard euro modular level. line amp helps boot it normal euro levels. The Epoch requires more patching for this comparison but it also has more cv inputs for modulation and is a little more flexible under cv control and is easier to fine tune with it's knobs compared to the Klangbau's joystick, which make it hard to dial in two specific filter frequencies to track with other oscillators and v/oct, although the joystick is nice for improv and performance . you might notice that the Klangbau sometimes has a little clipping or distortion. from my experience this is part of the character of the the Klangbau version, which can sound nice! it can be controlled to some extent with the input level knob. The Klangbau will consistently self resonate with the resonance all the way up, so it is capable of longer sustaining rings . the Epoch does not self resonate like this without modulation/pings."

3. Glockenspiel vs Modualr adventures in sound.

"here, i'm experimenting with running acoustic sound (glockenspiel and drum) through my synth for both audio processing and triggering sounds and events. the sound runs through the 4ms spectral multiband resonator to convert the audio into envelopes which are then converted to triggers to fire sounds in the synth and trigger random voltages (wogglebug, ura, a-149 and turing machine) which create the variety of sounds you hear. I'm using the 4ms dual dealy to create the loops. the glockenspiel loop is then going through the reflex liveloop to create the glitchy delay and pitch shifting effects. the drum loops its going the warps parasites dealy and then to clouds for more audio manipulations."

Doepfer Product Announcements for SUPERBOOTH21

via Doepfer

"Superbooth 2021 is just around the corner. The Superbooth team around Andreas Schneider managed it with their hygiene and safety measures that the event can happen and personal contacts are possible again. The Superbooth takes place from 15 to 18.09.2021 in Berlin. More information is available at the Superbooth Website. We plan to present these new products and would be happy to welcome you at our booth (presumably B047 in the 'Bungalow-Dorf')."

Left: (A-100PB with a keyboard built into the lid, 37 keys, midi interface with 3.5 mm stereo jack socket)

This is the "small brother" of the monster base A-100PMB. It is very similar to the A-100PMB but has only half the width (2 x 84 HP for installation of modules). The suitcase versions A-100P6 or A-100P9 can be positioned on top of the A-100PB because the width of the A-100PB is a bit more than the width of A-100P6/P9 and the footprint of the A-100PB is adapted to the depth of A-100P6/P9. A-100PB is equipped with one power supply (1200mA) and two bus boards. The bus boards are located in the rear area (even those for the modules that are mounted in the front row). This was necessary to take advantage of the full height of the front area for installation of A-100 modules.

Introducing KOMPLETE START – For the Music in You | Native Instruments
Introducing KOMPLETE KONTROL M32 – For the Music in You | Native Instruments
Introducing KOMPLETE AUDIO 1 and 2 – For the Music in You | Native Instruments

Press release (KONTROL M32 hardware pics below):

NI announces new entry-level hardware, a free tier of KOMPLETE, TRAKTOR DJ 2, Sounds.com integration for MASCHINE and KOMPLETE KONTROL, and more

Berlin, January 24, 2019 – Following its biggest ever release in September 2018, Native Instruments today announces four new easy-to-use, affordable, and powerful products. Included are two new KOMPLETE audio interfaces, the most portable KOMPLETE KONTROL keyboard to date, a new free tier of the KOMPLETE production suite, and a new generation of the TRAKTOR DJ app. These new products are accompanied by a refresh of Sounds.com, the expansion of Native Kontrol Standard (NKS) to include loops and samples, and tighter integration of Sounds.com with updated MASCHINE and KOMPLETE KONTROL software – further integrating NI’s connected ecosystem of creative tools into one seamless workflow.

With some of Native Instruments lowest price points and most user-friendly products to date, these releases mark another major milestone in the company’s journey towards making musical creativity more intuitive and accessible to all.

New starting points for producers and DJs
For producers, the release includes new hardware and software in the KOMPLETE range. A new 32-key portable keyboard, KOMPLETE KONTROL M32, is designed to provide the same hands-on workflow and comprehensive Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) integration as the S-Series and A-Series controllers, but with a smaller footprint and a lower price point. Available in March, the M32 comes with everything a new producer needs to sketch out, tweak, and finalize a track. The package includes MASCHINE Essentials, Ableton Live 10 Lite, NI’s acclaimed MONARK synthesizer, and more.

The M32 is joined by KOMPLETE AUDIO 1 and 2 – the first two offerings in a new range of slick, easy-to-use audio interfaces. Both are available from March 19, and offer pristine sound quality with different in/out connection options. The interfaces include a generous software package, featuring synths, effects, MASCHINE Essentials, and Ableton Live 10 Lite – again providing everything a producer needs to create full tracks from start to finish. KOMPLETE AUDIO 1 and 2 will also be welcomed by a wide community of singer-songwriters, YouTubers, podcasters, and gamers looking for great sound.

Now everyone can explore the acclaimed sound of NI's KOMPLETE production suites, with the introduction of KOMPLETE START – an entirely free collection featuring 15 studio-quality instruments, 2 effects, and a best-of selection of nearly 1,500 loops and samples from Expansions sound packs. Included is the floor-shaking low-end of TRK-01 Bass, the vibrant synth sounds of MIKRO PRISM, and expertly-crafted sampled instruments ranging from electric pianos to drum machines. The collection also includes creative sound design tools, essential effects like the SUPERCHARGER tube compressor, and more.

Doepfer A-101-3 modular vactrol phase filter

Note: Auction links are affiliate links for which the site may be compensated.

via this auction

"module a-101-3 is a 12 stage phase shifter with vactrols as phase shifting elements. vactrols are known for their smooth sound behaviour.

in contrast to other phaser designs the a-101-3 is much more flexible and offering a lot of new features not available from other phasers on the market (as far as we know, please tell us if we are wrong). the main difference is that our design offers access to each of the 12 input and output stages leading to a lot of new filters that cannot be obtained in other ways. especially the free patchable feedback loops (yes, not only one feedback loop is possible) between each of the 12 stages, the separate phase shift control for the stages 1-6 and 7-12, and the 2 polarizers intended to control the feedback loops lead to completely new filter types

the module sketch and the frequency response curves below will help to explain the outstanding functions of the module:

internally the module is made of 2 independent 6 stage phase shifters (1-6 reps. 7-12) with separate audio inputs (with attenuators), audio outputs (with mix control), and phase shift control units. the phase shift control units feature both manual and voltage controlled phase shifting (e.g. from a lfo, adsr, random voltage, theremin cv, foot controller cv ...). for each sub-module a phase shift display (led) is available. the led shows the illumination state of the 6 vactrols of the sub-module in question as it is connected in series with the internal vactrol leds.

each of the 12 phase shift states is equipped with an audio output socket and feedback input socket to obtain full flexibility to create a multitude of different filters. the audio input signal and the output signals of stage 6 resp. stage 12 are mixed with 2 manual controls to obtain effects at two audio outputs (for normal phase shifting effect this is 50% input signal and 50% phase shifted signal). the two submodules are internally connected via normalized sockets so that two 6 stage phase shifters can be obtained without external patches. audio output of stage 6 is normalized to audio input of stage 7 and cv input 1-6 is normalized to cv input 7-12. but due to the open structure of the module even other stages than stage 6 and stage 12 can be used as outputs to generate different sounds (simply patch the desired stage output to the normalized mix input socket)."

Sketch Synth 2 for iOS

Published on Apr 8, 2013

Below you will find the App Store description, which says all... Except, that I really love it, for it's ease of use, for the fun that I had when I tested it. A killer App for everybody, from beginners to Pro musicians! (Watch the Demo Video)"

"Sketch Synth 2 - Shape and Sculpt sounds with a selection of pad based instruments, each containing an XY pad that controls 8 loops and 4 effects, possibly best referred to as a pad based rompler. The whole premise of Sketch Synth 2 is to make it easy for you to draw sounds and draw on effects to give your sounds geometric character without having to learn anything complicated, just push buttons and draw sound.

This first version ships with 5 instruments:
* Punisher - dark wobblers with dubstep drums
* Noise Valley - a range of noise effects to sculpt
* Psycho Trance - fast arpeggiated synth sounds
* Falling Grace - darker trance patches
* Chip Tune - chirpy acidic sounds

In this first version you can use Sonoma's Audio Copy & Paste technology to import and export loops to other iPad apps, you can also use iTunes file sharing to download files to your main computer.

I've had a look and because of the framework used for this app I at first think it will be impossible to support AudioBus, but I've had some new ideas and am looking into it as hard as possible. Sketch Synth 3D users may want to wait a month or two because I will be adding Sketch Synth 2 as a bonus in the next update (hopefully late April/early May)."

New in Live 9: Audio to MIDI

Uploaded by AbletonInc on Oct 24, 2012

"Reclaim the music in your samples.... Live 9’s new tools for converting audio to MIDI give you unprecedented flexibility to extract musical ideas from your samples and build upon them.

Convert your favorite drum break with the Drums-to-MIDI feature and reuse it with your own sounds. Speed up your remixing work by using Harmony-to-MIDI to get the notes and chords from the original audio stems. Or simply seed your creativity with inspiring, natural-feeling MIDI grabbed directly from the most exciting parts of your music collection.

...or sing the music in your head. Sketch out ideas quickly by singing (or beatboxing) into Live and converting your recording to MIDI.

Your voice is the new keyboard: sing, beatbox, tap a rhythm on your desk, or play any solo instrument to capture your musical ideas as they come. Then use the Melody- or Drums-to-MIDI feature to turn your recordings into MIDI clips that you can edit and reuse with any sound."

Infinite Looper 1.1 & Aleph Looper for iPhone

Infinite Looper 1.1 Published on May 1, 2016 Secret Base Design

iTunes:
Aleph Looper - Secret Base Design
Infinite Looper - Secret Base Design
Curious if there is any relation to the monome Aleph Looper from Ezra Buchla & Brian Cabtree. Both are loopers.

"Aleph Looper is the iPhone version of Infinite Looper (which is universal).
From the stage to the studio, Aleph Looper will let you capture musical ideas, and can provide the framework for songwriting, all in a single integrated app. Loop MIDI phrases easily, control six different instruments, and quickly assemble loops into full songs. Visit the Secret Base Design web site for details and demonstration videos.

* MIDI Looping
There are dozens of audio looping apps; Aleph Looper expands on this idea, allowing you to quickly select different synthesizers, and loop the MIDI to each with perfect synchronization. Each of the instruments can have up to eight simultaneous loops. The loops can be of different lengths, up to sixtyfour measures long.

* Internal SoundFont Engine
Built into the app is an extensive SoundFont library with hundreds of instruments, and multiple drum kits. Pianos, strings, guitar, brass, synthesizers -- it's all there. Everything you need to get going right away.

* Inter-App Audio
Aleph Looper can host IAA-compatible synth apps -- take advantage of the wide range of innovative synths.

* MIDI In and Out
The app recognizes MIDI from other apps, over Bluetooth connections, and from hardware controllers. Secret Base Design is the developer of the innovative Apollo MIDI over Bluetooth -- the first Bluetooth MIDI solution for iOS. We're also partners in the musicIO app, which allows both audio and MIDI to be sent over an ordinary iOS sync cable. The app is built using the excellent MIDIbus library -- the Secret Base Design team has been at the forefront of MIDI on iOS for years.

* More that just loops. Songs.
Built into the app is a loop sequencer -- select different sets of loops for each section of a song, and the app will step through them automatically. You can build complex compositions, so that your songs evolve and breathe.

* MIDI Export
The iPad is an excellent music sketch pad, but it's not the end of the road. Aleph Looper will export a MIDI file for a song, which can be loaded into professional desktop DAWs. Use your iPad to put together a demo, and then bring in the full set of studio tools to finish your masterpiece.

* Keyboards and Pads
The app features a responsive piano-style keyboard -- adjust note velocity by touching towards the tops of the keys. And because on-screen keyboards can be hard to play, there's also ten pages of programmable pads. You can quickly assign notes or chords to pads, making it easy to capture the progression for a song idea, and bring the whole thing into focus.

* Quantization and MIDI Latency
To lock down timing, you can toggle on quantization -- or leave it off, for a loose, natural feeling. If you use external MIDI controllers, there can be latency in the MIDI messages -- the app can time shift slight to account for the delay of Bluetooth connections or WiFi. And if you use an audio-to-MIDI converter app like MIDImorphosis, latency compensation can tighten up the timing.

Doepfer MS404 Midi Analogue Mono Synth & Signal Path Sketch

"These are pretty rare and offer a true analogue sound with the convenience of midi control...

MS-404 is a MIDI-controlled monophonic analog synthesizer. It takes account into the actual trend of analog sound synthesis combined with the immediate access to all sound parameters. The MS-404 is a serious alternative to the high-cost second hand vintage synthesizers.

The sound generating section of the MS-404 is 100% analog (VCO, Noise, VCF, VCA, ADSR, 2 LFO's). Even the envelope and the LFO's are pure analog and not simulated by software. The immediate access to all sound parameters is realised by 15 knobs and 6 switches. The external audio input enables the subsequent sound modeling of other sound sources like samplers, digital synthesizers or expanders.

On top of that the MS-404 works as a monophonic MIDI-to-CV interface to control another analog synthesizer. The MS-404 is capable of controlling VCF frequency and VCA envelope amount (accent) via MIDI.

MS-404 Features

- VCO
- - real VCO (no DCO)
- - switchable between sawtooth / off / rectangle (pulse)
- - pulsewidth of rectangle adjustable, pulsewidth modulation with LFO1
- - glide time adjustable, glide on/off via MIDI-Controller #65 (Portamento)
- - frequency modulation with LFO1, even in audio range for producing typical FM sounds
- NOISE
- - white noise as alternative sound source (switcheable instead of VCO)
- VCF
- - 24dB resonance filter (low pass), resonance/emphasis adjustable up to self oscillation
- - frequency may be controlled via any MIDI controller and/or MIDI velocity
- - frequency modulation with LFO2, even in audio range for metallic/FM sounds
- - keyboard tracking switchable off/half/full
(continued on following page)
- VCA
- - envelope amount (accent) controllable via MIDI volume (ctr.#7) and/or velocity
- - effect of accent adjustable (accent knob)
- Envelope
- - full ADSR type (Attack-Decay-Sustain-Release)
- LFO1 and LFO2
- - 3 frequency ranges from sub-LFO (some minutes oscillation period) up to audio (max. 5kHz)
- - waveform triangle
- - frequency and level adjustable
- - LFO1: to VCO frequency or VCO pulsewidth modulation switchable
- - LFO2: VCF frequency
- External Audio Input
- - level adjustable
- - alternative sound source instead of VCO or Noise
- MIDI-CV Interface (internal):
- - MIDI channel and transpose (reference note) selectable via learn button
- - retrigger on/off (new trigger if playing legato)
- - controlling of glide on/off via Controller #65
- - controlling of VCF frequency via any Controller and/or Velocity
- - controlling of VCA envelope amount via Controller #7 and/or velocity
- - two 1/4" jack sockets for CV und Gate Output (may be changed to CV/Gate Input when changing jumpers inside by authorized dealers)
- light grey 19" housing, 1 unit"

Audio gear used:

Snazzy FX Eurorack Modular Synth with:
- Drone Bank
- Eternal Spring Filter
- Dual Multiplier
- Kitty Eyes
- Tidal Wave
- Telephone Game
- Ardcore Bit Beats Sketch *
- Wow and Flutter

- vpme.de ZeroScope
- Doepfer A-160 Clock Divider
- Eowave Zone B.F. Dual LFO
- Doepfer, Intellijel & Bimix mixers
- Klangbau Köln Spring Reverb

see here: https://www.modulargrid.net/e/racks/v...

Patch notes:

The Tidal Wave is in synth voice mode providing pitched filter oscillation sounds with some wave shaping. It also provides a square LFO acting as master clock. The clock is sent through the Doepfer Clock Divider and onwards to drive the Telephone Game, which modulates a whole lot of stuff lot with its five S&H outputs. One thing is the Tidal Wave's clock LFO speed, resulting in rhythm changes. The Telephone Game also provides pitch CV for the Tidal Wave and modulation for the wave shaper and wet/dry mix. S&H input for the Telephone Game is sent from the Kitty Eyes chaos, which is CV-controlled via the Telephone Game's clock division output.

The Ardcore Bit Beats Sketch* receives the clock and creates a binary pattern, outputting lo-fi chiptune audio and two trigger sequences. One resets one of the Zone B.F. LFOs and the other triggers the Kick_Me, which is not heard, but which's two audio outputs modulate the Tidal Wave sound and the Dual Multiplier.

The Dual Multiplier modulates audio from the Dronebank OSCs, which run through the Eternal Spring Filter (modulated by the Telephone Game and Zone B.F.) and through the Hi_Gain, which also mixes some of the Tidal Wave's VCF output in there.

Then there is some Noise from the Telephone Game coming and going and some cross-modulation between Dronebank oscillators and that's pretty much it. :)

Teensy Audio Library on Raspberry Pi Pico 2 W

video upload by Ghost In Translation

"Raspberry Pi Pico 2 W is capable of running Teensy's Audio Library after some minor modifications.

Here I'm sending MIDI over USB to Pico which is running a 16 voices polyphonic synth sketch. The audio is then sent by I2S to a DAC (the same audio expander from my Motherboard).

There is some light cracking that is coming from the I2S library that I still need to take a look at, otherwise that chip is very capable."
