There's a scratch under the hood as pictured, but otherwise this synth is in very good cosmetic shape. It is serial number 3 !!! These are very rare and this is a early one. Only 120 units made. Virtual Schmidt Synthesizer & "deck" controller Incoming

"The legendary Schmidt Synthesizer has been on the market for twelve years now and is used by many prominent musicians and studios.

After a year of development, we are excited to present the Schmidt Vi, the Schmidt synthesizer as a digital plugin, at Superbooth 26.

Through close collaboration with our partner UJAM, we have created an instrument that is sonically on par with the original Schmidt hardware.

In addition, we are introducing the virtual instrument deck, on which sounds created on the Schmidt can be played. These sounds can be manipulated using simple, Minimoog-style controls.

The Schmidt Vi and Schmidt deck will be available in mid-2026 as VST3, AU and AAX.

Prices for the plugins will be announced in due course."

The Schmidt does not come with effects (in the traditional sense), instead however the wide palette of modulation sources with delayed onsets, plus tons of lush filters/filter-types can emulate delays, phasers and other unique effects.

The Bode Barberpole Phaser and Bode Frequency Shifter are set up as send effects from a mixer. You will immediately recognize the distinct character when we cut to the effect clips."

I have been using it mainly with my ESQ1, until recently I decided I have enough other nice arpeggiators. Original PSU and non-original manual included."

Now Axel has become a regular guest friend of Soundmit. Since 2018, he comes to Turin dragging along the totem of polyphonic analog synthesizers, the Schmidt, which is the largest polyphonic keyboard in the world. This year, it undergoes a renewal with the addition of a new keybed with polyphonic aftertouch and new and beautiful woods!

Désormais, Axel est devenu un ami invité régulier de Soundmit. Depuis 2018, il vient à Turin en traînant avec lui le totem des synthétiseurs analogiques polyphoniques, le Schmidt, qui est le clavier polyphonique le plus grand du monde.
