Buran - Ableton Push 3 standalone & Eurorack Modular live set up walk thru
Two videos:
1. Buran - Ableton Push 3 standalone & Eurorack Modular live set up walk thru
First gig in a while so I've been thinking about what set up to use and here it is. Come for a wander down the hardware road to see how I am putting this all together, making the modular and Push 3 be friends, module choice, and the why of the set up.

"I bought a Move. Here's a quick overview of how I used it with my modular to build this track • Endogenous - dark ambient ritual psychedel...
TLDR: The Move is great. Works really well using the Intellijel MIDI 1U via USB to sync the modular to the Move and send a channel of pitch, gate & velocity.
Let me know if you have any questions on the set up.

"If I had to choose one guitar pedal to keep in my studio, this would be it, the Ghost has everything I want from an effect unit, all the modules sound clean and vivid, I really like how this pedal sounds, and on top of that, you get rerouting options, ability to modulate anything with an LFO and a crazy comb filter for experiments.

@Endorphines
"I just recently received a package with the Polygogo from E-RM and the Ghost module from Endorphin.es x Andrew Huang in it, and I thought why not explore them patched together? I got excited pretty quickly about the sonic results, so I decided to turn on the camera and take you with me while exploring it further.
"Effects make everything sound better, fatter and as dramatic as I like.
Exploring sonic realms with my Summit and the mystical GHOST Pedal by @Endorphines and @andrewhuang.
Splitting the keyboard with two soounds; weaving a tapestry of pure bass and processing the ethereal lead through the Ghost. I just hope to have more time to focus just on the work in the studio and take this sketch further."
"Here are some of our favorite large eurorack modules we play with all the time at Patchwerks. Make Noise Maths, Make Noise Spectraphon, 4ms Ensemble Oscillator, and the Endorphines Ghost.
"Here we have a nice little example of how nicely these two amazing modules play together. We have the LXR Eurorack module from Erica Synths x Sonic Potions; which is a 6 voice percussion synthesis module capable of some crisp, hard hitting digital timbres. This runs into GHOST from Endorphines in collaboration with Andrew Huang; a super versatile high quality sounding effects engine that can be routed in a number of unique and interesting ways.
"Just after I finished my Ghost video Endorphines sent me a last minute beta firmware. It's now available on the website and I think it's worth installing. They're just minor changes, nothing to worry about when you don't want to go through the trouble of playing .WAV files into the module. In short:
There's 100% unity gain when you hold ROUTING and turn Tone all the way CCW, and 10x digital gain when you turn it fully CW.
There's make-up gain added when you turn the compressor up (so your volume drop will be compensated).
The Big Knob now better recovers from internal filter changes made by CV.
I think the delay line syncs faster.
The reverb is made more 'lush' with internal LFO changes
I've also been intrigued by Ivan's rumbling kick video (parallel sidechaining) that was just released and the cool side effects of feeding audio rate signals to the sidechain trigger input. I finished this video with an 'acid techno' patch that only involves the Queen of Pentacles mighty kick, Ghost, and some CV.
Sweet!

"It is a million dollars question of modern TECHNO music making how to produce a really strong and authentic low-frequency rumbling bass.
Now you do not have to spend days in your DAW checking the plugins and polishing your perfect kick-and-bass rumble.
Check out this GHOST production in eurorack format - it will save your time and will make your music creation more enjoyable."
"Transparency Disclaimer
This video is sponsored by the Cinematic Laboratory because Andreas and Julia from Endorphines are my modular friends. I made this video free of charge. I had to buy the module but got a discount from the distributor.
The new Endorphin.es Ghost module is the fruitful result of a five year collab between Endorphines and Andrew Huang. Both won't need an introduction.
On paper, Ghost is like a console channel strip where you'll find EQ, compression, sidechaining and outboard gear for saturation, distortion, excitement, delay and reverb. A professional console can change the route between components with the touch of a button. Ghost can do that too, but the Ghost is only 16 HP. In real life, Ghost is a creative powerhouse. It can be used for 'in case' audio engineering (enhance your final mix) and used creatively by pushing the components beyond their limits. The volume knob is designed to give you 25% modeled analog distortion (creamy) instead of digital clipping (ugly). I tried to get it into feedback, but there's no internal noise. You need to hit it with a stick to get it going. After that, you'll be exorcising ghosts...

I just opened it so it's a bit empty. But that will change."
Update: GHOST ENDORPHIN.ES / ANDREW HUANG Eurorack Module Chat w/ MATTHS added to the bottom of this post below.
In collaboration with ANDREW HUANG, based on his modern music production techniques ENDORPHIN.ES developed a creative audio processor with multiple blocks that can be moved around in order to achieve different flavors for sound design.
processing unit without fixed structure: intuitively create astonishing and ephemeral timbres, from atmospheric rumbles to heavy or distorted textures.
creative stereo effect processor with delay, reverb, filter and distortion with quickly explorable routing chain with single button press.
new generation ARM Cortex - M7 processor with 96 kHz 32 bit internal processing.
lush hall and whooshing reverse reverbs with audio freeze and pre-delay.
sidechain audio ducking envelope available both internally and externally with additional one knob single band compressor.
tap delay with maximum delay time up to 2.5 seconds, external clock input with onboard clock divider and 1v/oct time control.
8x oversampled distortion algorithm.
pre- and post - VCA, tone and volume controls with extra gain.
"In this video we explore GHOST, a new multi-effects module by Endorphines made in collaboration with Andrew Huang. Includes 7 different patches exploring all the stereo effects.

"Come hang out with me as I go deep into the new Ghost module designed by Endorphines and Andrew Huang!
Is it too cramped? Is it too noisy? Or is it perfect?
Let's find out :)"
"Collabs are all the rage these days, and this one comes from a meeting of Endorphin.es and massive Youtuber/Producer Andrew Huang. Ghost is a multi-function effects and processing module, with delay, filtering, reverb, sidechaining and distortion, but not necessarily in that order - its, fluid due to some nifty DSP work from Endorphin.es.
Modular performer and producer, MATTHS (aka Matt Hodson) takes a look."
An Endorphines GHOST Demojam (feat Quadrantid Swarm)
"So Andrew Huang and Endorphines collaborated on a unique stereo multi-effect delay/reverb/filter/distortion/compressor called GHOST. They sent me one, and here's a ponderous demo/techno jam of it as an end-of-chain finisher for a Quadrantid Swarm (which it does rather well), with a cameo from Andrew. Commence the ghostlyjams."
"#MATTHS sits down with longtime music and video producer Andrew Huang to discuss the new #Ghost Eurorack module. A module which has come to being through a new collaboration with long time Eurorack module maker Endorphin.es.
