New synth laden track from an anonymous supporting member of the site. :)

"This 80s underground synth track was worth being revisited. We Believe that the message is sadly more important than ever. Enjoy what Abbey Road did to our vast amount of old circuits trying to stay in tune.

We Believe are:

Prophet 5, Prophet 12, Prophet X, Pro One, Mini Moog, Moog One, Roland Jupiter 8, Jupiter 6, MKS-80, MKS-70, V-Synth, TR-909, TR-808, TR-707, System 500, System-8, SE-02, OB-8, SEM, Korg MS-20.

Plus a few humans to replace the synth memory batteries from time to time."

SWARM ASYNCHRØNØUS GATE GENERATØR from Møffenzeef Mødular

SWARM DEMØ Published on Apr 21, 2020 Møffenzeef Mødular

"SWARM is a rather ødd sølutiøn tø a prøblem that døesn’t exist. The mødule øutputs føur gate patterns that have nøthing tø dø with øne anøther. There’s nø cløck input før the mødule and it can’t be synchrønized tø any external tempø. The øbjective was tø create my øwn type øf pattern generatiøn mødule that alløws the user tø influence the øverall speed øf a series øf randømized gate pattern withøut being able tø actually alter them directly. When yøu flip the “løøp” switch før each assøciated jack, the pattern freezes in a similar manner tø a tape løøp; the start and end times øf the løøp are arbitrary yet each time the pattern løøps arøund it’s reminiscent øf sømething that’s sømewhat musical due tø the repeating structure. The øutputs are structured in such a way sø that the first øutput is the fastest randømized pattern and the subsequent øuputs are incrementally sløwer. Why wøuld yøu want sømething like this? I døn’t really knøw, but I made it før yøu. Thrøw me a frickin’ bøne m8."

Vintage Mystery Synth

Anyone know what this is? It was recently spotted by Florian Anwander who had the following to say:

"This device was used while a live stream from a Hamburg Club streaming event. We had the impression, that it made 808 like drumsounds, but we are not sure. I tried to turn and unskew the picture to make the writing readable, but
the success is mediocre. It might read Mma 090. It looks like the grey rectangle is a speaker (there is a second under the moog FX). Can anyone identify what it is?"

The style reminds me of Boehm or Bohm, but I couldn't find it in the archives. If you know what it is let us know!

Update via Florian in the comments:

"Richard von der Schulenburg, who used it while this event, kindly answered my request. It is a 'PENTA Stereo keyboar' by the brand GERLAND. I found as a single hit on google this picture.

I've never heard about it, neither the brand nor the instrument. If I search for the brand name, then I find typical home organs."

GARLAND is an organ brand. Note the button style is the same as the PENTA.

covacid2020 - Live Acid Techno - Lockdown set up - BS2, FR777, ES2, Virus C, Engine, KP3

Published on Apr 21, 2020 zafrosoundz

"covacid2020"

I brought some equipment home from the studio for the lockdown period. I made this acid track whilst reminiscing of the raving days. The 90's were a great time and moulded my style!

I'll be completely pulling this set up apart to make way for a new addition, the Roland MC707 so watch out for more new content. coming soon.

Thanks and enjoy.

Gear list and set up.

Social entropy engine - Main clock, sequencing Bass Station 2 and Access virus C
Korg Electribe 2 - Running drums, perc and some bass.
Future Retro 777 - The acid machine, output(mono) to input L of the Virus to use its effects and filter.
Bass Station 2 - Playing Arps/rave sound, output(mono) going to input R of the Virus to use effects, filter and LFO's.
Access Virus C - Playing lush pad intro, mainly used for onboard effects for this performance.
Korg Kaos Pad 3 - Using the onboard node 8 effect and looping vocals.

No post production, this was recorded live using a Zoom Q8 camera input straight from the Behringer UB802.
