Audio Expansion: 2 Extra Outputs, and 2 Extra Inputs for dedicated voice sends and to process external instruments through the 309's filters, envelopes etc
Synth Expansion: Loads of extra synth waveforms which turns this into a very very capable and delicious sounding groovebox. Resonant filters, LFOs, envelopes, glide, accents, velocity per step etc etc

Absolutely fantastic sequencer, some of the nicest sounds going on a drum machine full stop. Loads of 909 style knob controls at your fingertips for playing the 309 live and real-time like a proper instrument. Deliciously smooth, lively, present-sounding hats and cymbals. Lively full percussion sets on the dedicated percussion channel.

As used by Adam Horovitz (Beastie Boys) for a full album of remixes and studio album, as well as Kraftwerk, and used loads by Klaus Schultz."

"This 6HP Eurorack module allows you to generate a trigger sequence of up to 8 steps. There are 256 different patterns. LEDs indicate the step pattern and the position of the sequence in the pattern. There is a knob and a CV input to control the pattern selection. The sequence can be reset with the push button or with a 0-5V signal. The sequence speed is controlled by the clock input. The output duration matches the high of the clock input. If a trigger is desired at the output, it can be clocked with a trigger. The number of steps can be changed by triggering the reset at the appropriate time and holding the reset will freeze the Golden Shower. It can be used to trigger drums or envelope generators and can also be used as a clock divider."
