First jam with the Sequential Take5 analog poly synth (multi-tracked 3 parts: Pads, Lead and Bass)
video upload by 2-Minute Warning
"Just wanted to share with you my first jam with the Sequential Take5, 5-voice analog synth which I just received yesterday 😍
Apart from the drums, all the instrumental parts (actually 3 parts: Pads, Lead and Bass 😉) are from the Take 5 synth, where I've been playing with the knobs while recording!
Hope you'll enjoy 😊
Cheers,
2-Minute Warning."

Synth Show - Ep183 - Live Sound Design with the Sequential Take 5.
video upload by GEOSynths
"I've had a number of Guests on recently though thought I'd go back to my roots and do some live Sound Design with the fantastic Sequential Take 5.
I have pretty much all of the Sequential Synths and the Take 5 is really a brilliant tool for Sound Design. I'm currently working on the 2nd Bank, so I'll play some of my favorites so far, plus make some from scratch."

VIVALDI - Summer Part 1 on SIX Arp ODYSSEYS
video upload by Richard Payne
"It's Summer! And I DO flipping love an Arp Odyssey ...
I ended up buying a couple after I sold my modular synth in 2020 and since then have been picking them up as and when I can afford them. Or when there has been a little space on a credit card for one.
I played the 3 that I rackmounted at a friends wedding a little while ago, under the guise of Richard Payne: Wedding Synthesist! I did half an hour of classical followed by the 'Here Comes The Bride' and the 'There Goes The Bride" classics. Sort of like what a church organist would do. But sounding a bit more like the Clockwork Orange soundtrack.
Anyway, it was a huge amount of fun and so when I'm not using them to make bleepy beats I've been fiddling with the classical stuff for my own amusement. Who knows, maybe the Wedding Synthesist will ride again!
So, to make these 'pieces' I downloaded a few different scores from t'interwebs and programmed the midi into Ableton. Had to compile and correct a few things and also choose my favourite handful of parts so I could cover the 24 or so instruments with my 6 Odysseys. I matched the tempo changes against a couple of recorded versions of the piece and then added a 'donk' on a spare Odyssey for good measure.
The synths are being controlled by Ableton but for the wedding gig I recorded the midi onto an old Yamaha MDF2 so I didn't have to use my laptop.
I'll get onto Part 2 next and sling it up on here ..." Update: you can find Part 2 here.

video upload by The Galaxy Electric
"sometimes it's nice to slow it down and enjoy the groove and the space in between. join us for a taste of what we are serving up on sundays. it's clocking in at exactly half the speed of our up tempo friday breakbeat jams at a cool 69 beats per minute. you will hear 808s, buchla modular synth, acidic 303 td-3 style bass, nord modular g1. cosmic vocals with space echo from the boss re-20. it'll meet ya where you're at, or it will calm you the f down. enjoy!"

The Soothing Ambience Of The French Riviera (in a Box)
video upload by HAINBACH
"French artist Gilou loaned me his Boxed Sandpit to play with. It is lovingly crafted hybrid of electro-acoustic sound and digital control. Using beach sand, a rake, a shovel and smooth stones as MIDI controllers, it is possible to create some very chill sounds. Check out his work: https://instagram.com/gilou._"

Behringer Pro 800 vs Prophet 600 // SOUNDS ONLY
video upload by Starsky Carr
"While I'm putting the finishing touches to my full comparison video here's some sounds to demo the similarities and differences between the Behringer Pro-800 and an original vintage Prophet 600 with the GLiGLi upgrade.
Simpler tones can be copied easily as the raw tone is all there in the oscillators. The filter envelope amount, sustain and cutoff work together slightly differently than the original so adding filter envelopes makes things a little more difficult, add to that the linear envelope shapes aren't the same - GliGLi updated the linear model in 2022 to reflect a more natural Prophet 5 Rev1/2 curve but this isn't in the Behringer. Plus Behringer have made the Pro-800 snappier, so the envelopes are not going to match on every occasion... not an issue in any way, every Prophet 600 with different GliGli firmware will be slightly different I imagine too... unless everyones updated to the 2022 version.
Other differences include the Poly-Mod, filter and LFO modulation ranges aren't as wide in the Behringer"
