Marius Leicht - Nachtblau (Matrix 1000 version)
video upload by Marius Leicht
"The piece 'Nachtblau' has gone full circle. I originally wrote it as a synthesizer piece, when I got GForce Software's Oberheim Eight Voice emulation, OB-E for review.
While recording my first solo album, Weltmaschine, I transformed it into a piano piece and recorded it with Nils Frahm's Zwicki Piano at his studio in Funkhaus, Berlin.
As there is not always a piano availlable when I play live shows, I rarely played that piece on stage. But since it gets requested a lot, I now went on to create a sound on my Oberheim Matrix 1000 which can be played very nuanced in dynamics and colour, so I can do this expressive piece justice. Leave your thoughts in the comments!

Playing the Syntrx - Carlo Mezzanotte
video upload by carlomezz
"(testo italiano in basso)
A few quick patches on the Erica Synths Syntrx, a powerful analog monosynth. Here I used the original version, not the Syntrx II which came sometime later.
Based in Riga, Latvia, Erica Synths teamed up with engineers from Riga Technical University to design a modern instrument based on the EMS VCS3/Synthi from the early Seventies, keeping the same overall structure with a few additions. They also kept the patchboard matrix, but replacing the original pins with a digital system with patch memory.

"@teenageengineering OP-1 field, @homebakeinstruments8214 wavestick, @KOMAelektronik Field Kit, and @KORG_INC SQ-1 A piece where gentle harmonies meet a melody that fades in and out, layered with fragments of radio static.
On the Field Kit, the AUX send is routed out to the NTS-3 and returned to INPUT 1.
The wavestick is sequenced by the SQ-1 and processed through the @ChaseBlissAudio MOOD MK II.
The main harmony comes from the OP-1 field; the other parts are from Kontakt."

SYNTHOPHONE - The MIDI Sax, Video Demo Tape
video upload by Patchman Music
"SYNTHOPHONE - The MIDI Sax, Video Demo Tape
I don't know where I acquired it, but I found this old VHS Synthophone demo tape in my collection and digitized and restored it. Some vintage Synthophone footage with inventor Martin Hurni. It also features Steve Coleman playing the Synthophone with his group. Enjoy...

Released in September 2023, The NDLR Rev2 is easily identifiable by its signature red powder-coated base and continues to be a favorite among synth enthusiasts and modular synthesists for its deep integration of rhythm, harmony, and modulation.
The NDLR Rev2 is available now at ConductiveLabs.com and through select music equipment retailers worldwide. Release 3 firmware is a free update for all The NDLR Rev2 owners, and those who participated in the NDLR Rev1 upgrade kit crowdfunding. If you missed the crowdfunding, a limited number of upgrade kits will be made available at ConductiveLabs.com in September 2025.
What is The NDLR?
The NDLR (pronounced “The Noodler”) is a multi-part, polyphonic, sequenced arpeggiator. Or it could be described as an Interval Sequencer MIDI Groove Box, if you like. Programming a traditional sequencer gets you a melody, but when it comes to changing the Key or Chord it becomes a challenging production. The NDLR solves this problem by playing all of the parts out of a common note pool, so when you change the Chord all the parts change with it. Little effort, big results! Get your synths playing in time, in key and make great electronic music without being a master at the keyboard.
