"**TIMING INDEX / SECTIONS BELOW** So here we have it, the FIRST DivKid Eurorack module. It's been a long journey (and and on / off casual one to start with) since I first drew up a rough idea and panel design for this years back but this super simple, but highly effective little module (if I do say so myself) is finally released! Now I'm not a circuit designer or manufacturer, which is why this took some time. But more recently I worked with Befaco to bring this to life so I'm proud to say that although this is a DivKid module the PCBs say "powered by Befaco" on them. There's tonnes of potential ways to patch and make use of this and nothing will make me happier than to see the module living in peoples systems for a long time. This is available as a DIY kit or PCB/panel as well as assembled. Check the link below for more information.

**CORRECTION** This is available as a FULL DIY KIT or PCB/Panel combo not a partial kit as I say at the end of the video.

We've expanded what’s possible with the Patterns view, allowing complex sequences of patterns and pattern chains to be made. There's a new Pattern Chain Sequence function, from which up to 32 patterns and 16 chains of patterns can be selected in any order. Patterns and chains can be repeated, and sequences can be build up and easily navigated between. The append setting can be toggled to add patterns and chains to an existing pattern sequence, even when playing.

Create Tied/Drone Notes

Each step now has a tie-forward setting, so it's now possible to tie notes together in order to create drone notes and long ambient pads.

Take music off the grid

It's now possible to take music off the grid by delaying notes on a step from one to five ticks (each step is divided up into six ticks). It's also possible to use Synth Micro-nudge to create new, more complex rhythms like triplets across the beat."

"This is the second iteration of our Crush Delay. It is an echo-delay unit based on the PT2399 IC, which although able to offer 400 ms of clean delay, has a special talent for generating digital garbage and noise! Our beautiful freak features multiple circuit bends to the chip, an FX send & return, and up to 2 seconds of filthy digital delay.

This model has been improved greatly from the first version with extensive signal routing changes to improve performance and extend its range of sonic possibilities.

FEATURES
The new Crush Delay features two VCAs to control the amount of signal sent to the delay. The first is routed to both the dry/wet mix and the delay, and the second directly to the delay. Combining the second VCA and the FX Send output allows for external feedback routings (see block diagram below).

The biggest improvement from the previous version of the module is to the control of PT2399 itself through the application of circuit bending techniques. It has an improved and extended speed control, offering a wider range and smoother control of the Crush section, converting this unit into a VC digital garbage generator!

It also includes three gate controllable switches to enable the three circuit-bends on the chip providing a high level of control over the digital noise, glitches and general nasty mayhem!

The VC feedback features an automatic gain control to keep levels stable at any feedback level."

"The aim was to create a pack where each sound can be tweaked to get the most out of the 64 patch slots. Patches 1-32 are more unique in their macro layout and the sound types are varied whereas the patches 33-64 have more of a standard feel to them to give you a broad sound palette to work with. Patches 33-64 can be shaped using macro knob 5 to switch between different oscillator settings which will give the patches different character. Macro knob 8 was used for distortion which in turn was tweaked to add character and variation to the sounds.

"This is my first jam with the Ultimate Circuit Setup I am working on. A little preview of what is to come on the channel.

So I have had this idea for a while to build a Ultimate Circuit setup in order to take my Circuiteering further. 2x Circuits and a LCXL seemed like the obvious choice. Bass Station 2 adds some analog bass to the mix. I just lack the Mono Station. Everything is routed thru a Clarett 8 Pre from Focusrite and recorded into Cubase 8 Pro.
