Gravitarium 2 - The first multiplayer particle visualizer

YouTube Uploaded by ststionion on Jun 19, 2011
Gravitarium2 - Robert Neagu - currently free

This one in via Silent Strike who composed the tracks for the app with a Clavia Nord Modular 1, Micron Alesis, Jomox Mbase, Reason 4 Propellerheads, M-audio Axiom 25, Elektron Drumachine (pic at the bottom of this post). The app does not allow you to manipulate sound, but I thought it was interesting to acknowledge some of the gear used to create the audio for this app. The Waldorf Blofeld and Yamaha AN200 pictured however were not used.

"Experience the magic in Gravitarium2! Go to http://www.gravitarium2.com/video/ (use the "App Support" button to jump right to the video).

Gravitarium 2 combines music, art and science in one relaxing experience. Use all your fingers to guide the star flow. You can create 10 different animations depending on the number of fingers touching the screen:

1 - Rocket, 2 - Sparkle, 3 - Energy flow, 4 - Atomic, 5 - 3D freeze, 6 - Circularium, 7 - Fish, 8 - Vortex, 9 - Lasers, 10 - Lightning.

Use different options to create spectacular drawings made of stars. You can load the "Drawing" preset from the "Options" screen.

You can even connect to random user (or a friend) and play together with the stars. You can always send a "Like" message to let the other player know you enjoy your connected game. There's a leaderboard available that lets you discover the best G2 players.

The soundtrack is amazing! 10 different tracks push you further away into a deep relaxation state. If you're connected to a remote user, you even share the same music ambiance.

Unleash your creativity and create unique masterpieces!

Live Improvisation with Moog Voyager OS, Nord Stage and Dave Smith Mopho

YouTube Uploaded by hyperdust7 on Jun 21, 2011

"Tonestepa on Minimoog and Hyperdust on Nord Stage and Mopho. Beats and a repeating bass note are on Cubase (Maschine & Mopho bass), but the rest of the noise is live. There is a CP-251 connected to the Old School Moog, so Tony is controlling 2 LFO's. One slowly oscillating the filter and the other affecting the pitch of Oscillator 2 with sync on. Nord Stage is providing a weird piano like sound, and the Dave Smith Mopho for the lead melody."

4ms VCA Matrix eurorack module

YouTube Uploaded by bigcitymusic on Jun 21, 2011
Big City Music on eBay (RSS)
"Here we are trying out the brand new 4ms VCA Matrix module. This module can do you so many things its hard to know where to start!

This patch is a fairly basic voltage router. Various LFO's, slow, fast, and pitch-tracking are coming in on the left, the row labeled inputs, A B C D. The outputs, 1 2 3 4, are routed to different CV inputs on modules in our sequencer patch.

Output 1 goes to a filter cutoff, output 2 to delay time, output 3 to an oscillator pitch input, and output 4 to another filter's cutoff. Then you can "play" your different routings! Slot 1C has a slow, squarewave LFO applied to it's control input, and you can see the light flash when the square goes high.

This is only one example of what the MatrixVCA can do. You could use it as a patch storage/recall device enabling you to make modular presets. You could send fixed voltages into the inputs, creating playable sequences, The MatrixVCA also passes audio like a normal VCA. This can allow you to make some really complex patches. Kinda' like a guitar pedalboard on steroids;) This is just the beginning.... This module is amazing!"
