MBMBAM Main Theme // (It's a) Departure - The Long Winters

Published on Mar 1, 2017 Ace Waters

"McElroy Madness begins!

For the next four weeks I am going to be covering themes and songs from the most wonderful sweet boys on the internet. Starting off with the My Brother, My Brother and Me theme. Have you seen their Seeso show? Because its dope. Really really good stuff. Check it out. And if you don't know who the McElroy brothers are, get to it. I would suggest starting with Monster Factory, because its the funniest thing I have ever seen. The Adventure Zone is also super dope. And I mean, you can't go wrong with MBMBAM. More to come!

Also, shoutouts to The Long Winters. They wrote the original song, (It's a) Departure and are kings of the college rock jams. Check em out, especially if you are into good music.

"Starting with the new Fold Processor, then turn on the beat with four ONE modules playing Glitchmachines cards and a card with chords. BD909 for kick Z2040/Z4000 do the bass with a chord from ONE, HATS909 HATS808 and MA808 adds more hats. Switching sounds on ONE playing the BENT card, everything but the bass drum gets processed by the Z-DSP. A stereo from the Z-DSP into Apogee Elements88 and BD909 output to the Elements on another channel. Limiter is set on Abelton master and thats it."

Bob Moog Foundation To Raffle Vintage Minimoog Model D Singed by Jan Hammer

via The Bob Moog Foundation where you'll find additional details including how you can enter to win.

"Today we proudly announce the launch of our annual Minimoog raffle. This year we have something very special to share. The vintage Minimoog being raffled, serial number 4311, has been signed by legendary synthesist Jan Hammer who is known for his groundbreaking music on the 1980s TV series Miami Vice, and whose work with the Mahavishnu Orchestra helped define the Minimoog as a virtuoso performance instrument in the early 1970s.

The raffle is open internationally and runs through April 3, 2017 or until all tickets are sold. All ticket sales benefit our work with Dr. Bob's SoundSchool and the Bob Moog Foundation Archives."

ALM017 / Pamela's NEW Workout & ALM017-EX Expanders

ALM017 - Pamela's NEW Workout from ALM on Vimeo.

"Simple demo with Pamela's NEW workout driving an Erica synths Pico Drum. Pam's CV modulation of both sample selection and itself."
You'll find the video for the expanders further below.

via ALM

"‘Pamela’s NEW Workout’ is a compact programmable clocked modulation source for your Eurorack modular synthesiser system. It provides 8 highly editable outputs producing various control voltage signals correlated and synced to a BPM based master clock.

Building on the original ’Pamela’s Workout’, this new evolved model maintains the original’s form factor and intuitive workflow but greatly improves on and adds many new features with upgraded hardware, a new OLED display and rewritten software.

Each output is now able to provide not just clocked triggers but also rhythmic waveforms with many parameters controllable directly and via assigning to external CV control. Pamela has grown beyond a clever clock and now provides almost limitless synced modulation possibilities.

Improvements have been made to overall clock stability and integration with external clocks and devices. Also new are dedicated MIDI and Din Sync clock outputs available via optional expander modules.

Features

BPM based clock with tempo rates 10-300BPM.
8 Clocked voltage outputs each with independent adjustable;
Clock divisors and multipliers from /512 to x48 including various non integer factors.
Gated, Triangle, Sine, Envelope & random base waveforms.
Waveform level and pulse width / skewing.
Phase, Delay and delay division (for complex swing)
Euclidean and random step skipping with beat based looping for rhythm creation
All output parameters assignable to x2 CV inputs with individual software offset, attenuation and monitoring.
Per output and group saving and loading to 200 banks.
Voltage and direct control of clock stop/start, reset and rate..
Sync to an external clock input at 48 to 1 PPQN.
Realtime intuitive user interface with high resolution LED display.
Provides dedicated DIN Sync and MIDI clock output via optional expander(s).
Easy firmware upgrades via USB port.
Unlikely to actually improve aerobic fitness."

Pamela's New Workout PEXP-1 Expander from ALM on Vimeo.

"Quick demo of Pamela's NEW Workout Eurorack module syncing external hardware via the optional 'Pexp-1' expander module. The expander modules clocks;

The TR-909 via the MIDI Clock output.

The TB-303 via the Din Sync Clock output.

The Korg SQ-1 via one of the fixed gate outputs."

via ALM

"Pexp-1 & Pexp-2 are two expander modules for Pamela’s NEW Workout both offering additional dedicated fixed clocked outputs.

Extend Pam as a master to clock external gear with a super solid MIDI & Din Sync dedicated clock outputs.

Use extra fixed jack clocked gate outputs to free up Pamela outputs for more exotic modulation dutys.

Connects too, and Powered by, expander header on rear of Pamela’s NEW Workout.

PEXP-1 Features:

Din socketed Din Sync and MIDI Clock dedicated outputs.
4 extra buffered fixed gate outputs – x1, x2, x4 & /4
PEXP-2 Features:

3.5mm jack socketed MIDI Clock output
MIDI wiring orientation switchable (for differing 3.5mm wiring setups)
Buffered x24 & run jack outputs"

New Befaco A*B+C Eurorack Module

A*B+C Features Published on Mar 1, 2017 Befacosynth

"This video outlines the features of our A*B+C module. The A*B+C is a dual channel 4-quandrant multiplier with DC offset. It has many uses including VCA, 4-channel mixer and for creating true Ring Modulation.

0:09 - Introduction
0:29 - VCA
1:12 - 4 Channel Mixer
1:41 - Ring Modulation

The A*B+C is available as a kit, PCB & Panel set, or as an assembled module from our store www.befaco.com/en/tienda/"

"FEATURES

Each section can perform the analog multiplication of two signals (A and B) and add an offset (C). It can also act as a dual voltage controlled attenuverter, dual ring modulator, dual VCA or four channel mixer (see block diagram below).

The B inputs are routed to an attenuverter that multiplies the signal between -2 to 2, while the offset inputs (C) route through a unity gain attenuverter (multiplies the signal between -1 and 1).

B and C inputs are normalised to 5v and 10v respectively, so the A inputs can be processed using just the potentiometers.

The output of first block is normalized to the second one, so the second output can act as master to get (A1*B1+C1) + (A2*B2+C2)."

MS20 / JX3P / MFB522

Published on Mar 1, 2017 se7ense7

"Some footy...

I saw Legowelt use his JX-3P (in an old clip on youtube) and it gave me the idea to use the MFB522 to trigger the built-in sequencer.

The PG200-like controller is actually a clone (prototype) made by a Dutch company called the DT200."
