"Oscillator A & B slightly detuned, square wave on A and sawtooth on B. FM turned all the way up, distortion on. The filter resonance turned way up (hence the chirpy squeal) and the filter cutoff knob is initially open, then twiddled a bit to help the filter chirp. At the end, I just slowly turn the cutoff down. the VCF envelope modulation is mapped to MIDI velocity, which adds some sonic movement."

Unknown color, unable to determine: shiny look, red when looked from right, blue when looked from left, yellow and green when looked from top. Not unlike soap bubble at all or visiting angels from faraway suns. Hencefore warning: scares birds - all kinds of birds specifically vengeful birds! Some parts are of static color: Touchable extremites are darkness and citrus. Rectangular 32-symbols writing area is of same colour as orange-froot, and shiny dots of enlightment that go blink-blink are orange-coloured too. Rooftop of electric music synthesizer can be removed to reveal circuit of colour of dark forces. To ensure maximal cooperation rooftop should not be left open for normal operation, cutie.

Vibrations are above 20 hz and below 18kHz as perceptible by human auditory organs. Emits audio vibrations not suitable for dogs and house ferrets. This is one of the 1st models. It comes with its original box, songbook made specifically for it (dated 1968), and the working stylus. It uses a 9-volt battery. It is in good condition for its age. It is missing its battery cover but does not affect its performance."

"The Waldorf PPG 3.V is the reincarnation of the PPG Wave Synthesizer which was originally developed by Wolfgang Palm, who is also the inventor of Wavetable Synthesis. Wolfgang Palm was brought back on board to assist in the development process of PPG 3.V. Included in this demonstration of the Release Version 1.0 are some of Mr. Palms favorite patches from Jay de Miceli's factory bank (019 Eternally Resistant, 023 H A A R P E D).

All Sounds in the Stubenhocker demonstration are from JdM's (Jay de Miceli) factory content, utilizing the PPG's Multi Mode. The composition was completed without the use of an external sequencer, using only a combination of the Arpeggiator and the SEMITONE-KEY mode, along with some careful modulation routing to improvise a nifty sequencer. The finished sound is achieved by using only the on board effects and EQ. In fact the only thing that was not from Waldorf was use of the Allen and Heath Zone 92 filter and a bit of compression. The whole piece uses 8 voices with a modest CPU hit of no more than 4% of an Intel i7.

Jay de Miceli's factory bank includes his one of a kind Vinyl Attack drum sounds which he uses beautifully in Stubenhocker, showcasing the ability to achieve club ready drums and percussion with the PPG 3.V right out of the box."
