"A new awesome computer has entered my house to help me with project MSSIAH. A big thank's again to Mark (UKretrogames) for this wonderful mahine ! Truely very grateful. The MSSIAH is a midi interface/sequencer that allows the SID sounds to be triggered / controlled via a midi controller keyboard.
Mark UKretrogames channel : Has lots of cool videos of computer history and interviews www.youtube.com/ukretrogames

Kicks it at :25.
"Live demo of one of my songs.
Bassline is played by an good old C64 equipped with Cynthcart.
Tune is called "we ain't finished yet" and has been featured on DEAD PIXELS long play.
In 2009 I began experimenting with SID chiptune (built-in sound generator chip of Commodore 64), and Cynthcart to create a blend of original 8bit sound from the 80's and Rock music.

Making Music with the MSSIAH Sequencer
Uploaded by 8bitventures on Aug 11, 2009
"This video demos how to use the MSSIAH Sequencer to create music with the Commodore 64.
It's as simple as with any other modern MAC or PC Sequencer. In this video the Sequencer is controlled with a
1351 mouse but it may also be operated with an Amiga or Atari mouse, ordinary C64 joystick, the keyboard itself or a PC mouse using a 1351 mouse adapter (such as the Micromys).
The MSSIAH Sequencer application can be switched to full MIDI mode in which it functions as a MIDI module being multi-timbral, polyphonic or a mix of both modes.
The MSSIAH Cartridge is a hardware cartridge with a built in MIDI interface and plugs into the back of your Commodore 64. It contains a variety of music applications that make your old Commodore computer play along the other gear in your studio.
MSSIAH Cartridge sells for EUR 49,95 and is available for purchase at our online store.
More info at: http://www.mssiah.com
In this video the MSSIAH Sequencer uses five channels of audio on the Commodore 64 still the SID (audio circuit in the C64) only had three oscillators available.
This is made possible by adding another SID to the computer giving a total of six tracks in MSSIAH Sequencer.
The cleanest way to put in the additional SID circuit is by using the SID2SID, a DIY circuit board also available for purchase at our online store."
