New Audio Damage ADM04 FREQSHIFT Eurorack Frequency Shifter Module
"Freqshift is a digital recreation of the analog frequency shifter modules of decades long gone. Unlike the more common pitch shifter, which raises or lower the pitch of a sound by some ratio (such as an octave or a fifth), frequency shifters add a specific frequency ( 321Hz, for example) to the signal and all of its harmonics. This alters the timbre of the sound in a manner unlike other familiar effects processors. Freqshift replaces complex analog circuitry with calibration-free digital processing, delivering a frequency shifter in a compact, flexible, but economically priced Eurorack module.
» SHIFT control goes from 1000Hz down to 6000Hz up, with a scaled section near the 12-o'clock point to enable easily adjusting the "sweet spot" small shift values.

"the only instrument of this setting without distortion is the TRAX rota synth, which did a good job for a bass line. then a drum groove from korg ER-1 follows, run through MAM analog filter bank and through sherman filterbank, which adds this special warm distorted colours. wmd geiger counter is one of the most raugh distortion pedals, a real destroyer, i combined it with a groove from the korg EM-1. a sound from roland SH-2 gaia synth is run through the internal fuzz-effect. yeah, thats electro synthy rock´n roll."

"Minimal, kind of old school massive attack feel to this beat.... and sorry for the resonance sweep at the end (had to automate that in the DAW so you wont get deaf.. still a bit loud i think so be careful if you use in ear headphones, its the final 10 secs of the track)

"The first drum machine made with vacuum tubes since the Wurlitzer Sideman of 1959.
Unlike the Sideman, the Metasonix D-1000 is a "modern" primitive device--with plenty of inputs, outputs, and flexibility.
Even though it has only four drum sounds -- two tunable drums, a tunable "snare" drum (harder sounding than the others), and a cymbal -- control voltage inputs give great flexibility.
Each of the tunable drums is made from a vacuum tube ringing bandpass filter, and can be tuned to sound from below 20 Hz to over 2 kHz. They are also tunable with external control voltages, allowing complex patterns to be built up with external CV or pulse sources. Resonance of each filter circuit is set by internal trimpots. The cymbal sound is an extremely primitive circuit, with white noise gated by a pentode tube. The cymbal's attack is knob-variable and CV variable, from a sharp click to a soft "whoosh". The four outputs mix to a single tube preamp that allows for overdriving via the mix-level controls.
In keeping with the primitive nature of the soundmaking section, the pattern sequencer is extremely simple. Unlike early drumboxes, we won't subject you to preset nonsense like "waltz", "foxtrot", "swing" or the like. Instead, there is a single 8-pulse sequence with separate enable switches for each drum sound--set a toggle switch up to get the sound at that point, down for silence. Great for house, hardcore or other simple 4/4 patterns. The internal clock is settable from 60 BPM to over 1000 BPM.
There is also a "roll" clock signal built-in, to generate a faster drumroll on any drum sound by pressing a button (speed is preset with an internal trimpot). If you don't like the internal sequencer, there are separate trigger inputs for each of the four sounds (the trigger pulse must be 0 to +5v, and less than 40 mS long). These trigger inputs operate in parallel with the built-in sequencer, so the D-1000's sounds may be triggered by its internal sequence and external pulses at the same time. As a bonus, the three tunable drums can also be used as tunable bandpass filters, by feeding a line audio signal to each trigger input.
Ample inputs and outputs: mix output (with overdriveable tube preamp), separate outputs for each drum sound, external trigger inputs for each drum sound, and a main clock output (0-5v) for slaving external generators to the internal clock.

It has the bass synthesizer, the string synthesizer, the polyphonic synthesizer and the lead synthesizer, all built together for that huge ARP sound. There are a few nicks and scratches here and there, but it is in great, fully operational, condition. Dean from Five Star Engineering (who was certified by ARP back in the 70's) just went through it completely and everything is fully calibrated and working great. WHAT A NICE SOUNDING KEYBOARD! "Got two of the KORG volcas today, they keys is still on back order :( However, plugged them in and this is what came out after a few minutes of tweaking without reading any manuals. Seriously? I think they sound Awesome and are so easy to play around with.
What you see in the video is playing live, except for the MS20 mini in the background doing the simple triggered 16th beat two note melody. Got some envelope on the G3 with delays and reverb.. and the jomox is connected on the Volca Bass only with some longer and more shaky ddl fx.
The KORG Monotron and monotribes does some random noises on this track,(also responsible for the noisiness in general) the volcas are pretty silent.

"Some noodlings with a +/- standard analog synth configuration on the Serge and Kilpatrick:
Microsampler midi out in Kilpatrick midi in (Kilpatrick format modular)
- Basic audio path: 2 oscillators (1 Serge NTO, 1 Kilpatrick) in the variable bandwith filter into a X-fader (VCA) and then in the Eventide space
- 2 envelopes:
--- upper part of a DUSG on the gate signal (input in = ASR envelope) for the VCA
--- a Serge ADSR on the filter cutoff
- on the filter cut-of also: midi cv out (keyboard tracking) and the NTO as LFO
- speed of the LFO determined by the lower part of the DUSG (triggered by the gate out)"
