"Here's a vintage Memorymoog synthesizer in really nice condition that seems to be working well. All 6 voices autotune from a cold start (see video). Battery has been changed and factory patches loaded. Factory patches sound good (see video). This has not been serviced or calibrated by me and I haven't tested every single feature or verified that each of the 18 oscillators is perfectly in tune, but from my time with it, it seems to work and sound quite good. Good enough that I decided it would be best not to mess with it. That being said, I don't guarantee that it is perfect. This synthesizer is being sold as is, with no returns. "Casio VL-1 and μClouds. Not a function demo, I was just playing around with a musical idea, and decided to record and share it in case anyone was interested. The delay and the reverb are both coming from Clouds, so it's just VL-1-Clouds-audio interface, no additional effects.

X1L3 - DDX - circuit bent yamaha DD8 drum machine

"Intricate circuit bending and a midi retrofit of a Yamaha DD8 drum machine. Where to get and all about below.

Dwelling in melancholy and wearing the influence on both sleeves (NIN - the fragile)......

Midi trigs coming in from the DAW and CV for pitch and filter cutoff coming in from a yarns midi to cv moduile in the euro rig which is also slaved to the DAW.

The whole set is utilising the 'ruiner' section of the machine. This is a kind of sweepable octave fuzz which at zero gate acts as a really cool grind and distortion and when gate is opened - as in the start of the session - a weird sweepable ringmod/fuzz kind of effect.

Midi is mapped to the four pads and also the eight points on the glitch array, so real time automation of glithing is possible within patters composed on the machine.

Sycopated echo is generated by the delay in the DD which can also be used to misbehave as a circuit bent delay pedal would when the feedback and filtering are untethered.

Harmonic Additive Synthesis Demo with Sequencing on the Percussa mSSP

"Patch consists of 12 oscillators, 3 envelope generators, 4 bus modules, a step sequencer and reverb module. The oscillators output sine, saw, square and triangle simultaneously but we only use the sine wave outputs in this demo. The envelopes control the amplitude of the 12 oscillators (3x4) and are triggered by the step sequencer. Pitch of the oscillators is also driven by the step sequencer. The oscillators are set to various harmonic and inharmonic ratios through the demo. Additionally we use the detuning feature on some of the oscillators and edit the step sequence throughout the demo. Sound of the sine oscillators is summed using the bus modules and fed through the reverb module before it goes to the master output. All sound synthesized on the mSSP and recorded on the big SSP and synced to video afterwards.

"Olitronik Circuits Micrón is a full synth voice for eurorack in only 8HP, we used it for the synth in this video with modulation from Olitronik’s OBF Modulator. Arturia’s DrumBrute Impact provides the drums. Since the synth voice was only 8HP we were able to put an Intellijel Metropolis and WMD/SSF DPLR delay in this portable 54HP case that is about the same size as the DrumBrute Impact."

"A little jam carried out on my Buchla Skylab. This is my first time programming and "playing" the 223e.

Effects from Empress Reverb in Delay+Reverb mode. Direct to stereo recording on a Sony PCMD50.

Patch Notes
==========
The drone is the 259e being modulated a number of ways, and routed through one of the 267e filters, which is modulated by one of the random channels.

The lead voice is the main oscillator of the 261e modulated in several ways by the 223e Kinesthetic controller.

The arpeggiated voice is the modulation oscillator of the 259e in saw mode, sent through the 292e in LPG mode (so rubbery and lovely!), and controlled by the arpeggiator in the 223e.

Transpositions are supported by the 223e (linear, not diatonic, so you have to be careful), and you have to hit the damn button on the panel to switch to a different transposition value. Still, with practice and/or adjustments to the performance this could probably be OK. There are effective moments here, but I definitely did not practice this move! :-D"

"Drum Modulator is an advanced modulation and pitched noise source with focus on rhythmic (but not limited to) compositions in mind. It features two identical syncable to the BPM LFOs/noise sources with morphing waveshapes.

In this video we explore 12 different patches with Modulator together with various modules from the Techno system.

0:18 - #1 GABBERLINE (Modulator + Bassline) LFO1 is modulating FM and accent, LFO2 is in noise mode modulating cutoff.

2:19 - #2 CYMBALLER (Modulator + Cymbals) LFO1 is synced to the same BPM as Cymbals trigger source and is modulating tune. LFO2 is free running and modulating decay of Cymbals.

4:12 - #3 ANOTHER SUPER COMPUTER (Modulator + Bassline) Both LFOs in S&H mode modulating cutoff, accent and FM in of Bassline.

4:59 - #4 TECHNOID (Modulator + Bassline) LFO1 is modulating FM and accent, LFO2 is modulating cutoff.

5:24 - #5 STEAMER (Modulator + Bassline) LFO1 is in noise mode modulating FM and cutoff, LFO2 is modulating accent and gate.

5:43 - #6 FROGGER (Modulator + Bassline) Both LFOs modulating cutoff, accent, 1v/oct and FM.

5:59 - #7 SNARECANDANCE (Modulator + Snare) LFO1 is synced to the BPM of Snare trigger and is modulating tune, LFO2 is synced to LFO1 tempo and modulating decay.

7:09 - #8 BALLOON FIGHT (Modulator + Bassline) LFO1 is modulating FM and accent, LFO2 is modulating cutoff and gate.

7:54 - #9 CYMBA (Modulator + Cymbals) Both LFOs are synced to Cymbals trigger BPM and modulating tune and decay. LFO2 is also modulating rate of LFO1.

8:40 - #10 HI-HATTER (Modulator + Hi-Hats D + Dual FX) LFO1 is modulating dry/wet of FX1 & FX2, LFO2 is modulating decay and tune of Hi-Hats.

9:54 - #11 S&H EVERYTHING (Modulator + Pico Drums + Dual FX) Both LFOs in S&H mode triggering and selecting sample on Pico Drums, modulating delay time of FX1 and dry/wet of FX2.

11:08 - #12 BAZZDRUM (Modulator + Bassdrum) LFO1 is modulating gain and drive of the first Dual Drive stage, LFO2 is modulating gain and drive of second Dual Drive stage."

Erica Synths Modulator is an advanced modulation and pitched noise source with focus on rhythmic (but not limited to) compositions in mind. It features two identical syncable to the BPM LFOs/noise sources with selectable morphing waveshapes. LFO frequency can be manually adjustable, as well as they provide frequency divisions and multiplication in Sync mode. Each LFO has two outputs- main one and secondary one with adjustable phase, so you can create evolving modulations. Furthermore, LFOs can be linked to work at the same frequency and the first LFO has built in VCA to control output signal amplitude.

"I've had the OP-Z for a little over a month now and I've been using it almost exclusively as of late.

I just got my Launch Control XL in and decided to do a demo.

All of the samples have been swapped out with my own, so it has a lot of unique drum samples and synth track samples.

Launch Control XL is set up as follows;

Top Row Knobs:
Red - Page 3 (LFO/Arp)
Yellow - Page 4 (FX1, FX2, Pan, Vol)

2nd Row of Knobs:
Black - Page 1 (Parameter 1, Parameter 2, Cutoff, Resonance)
Green - Page 2 (A,D,S,R)

Bottom Row of Knobs:
Orange - Tempo, Swing, Audio Mute, Track Step Count
Black - Note Length, Note Style, Quantize, Portamento

Each of the 8 User Templates are the same except they contain the MIDI Channel that correlates with the first 8 tracks on the OP-Z so I can cycle through all the tracks and edit all the parameters on each track.

The Faders control Volume for each Track.

The 16 buttons on the bottom are assigned to various Punch-In FX.
