Details via the auction

"Ultra rare 32 voice 76 key Waldorf Wave Shadow! You won't ever see another one like this for sale again. There were only 300~ made and probably less than 100 have these options!

This Wave was formerly owned by Drew Neumann and he took very good care of it. His friend's signatures can be seen on the back panel under the face plate.

There are almost no issues with this synth. There are 3 LEDs out and the display is dim - that's it. I purchased some replacement LEDs but would need to modify the circuit board to match the intensity of the originals. The owner and I decided it was not in our best interest to change them, so they have been left alone. The LEDs that are out are the -1 OCT footing for OSC 1, the -2 OCT footing for OSC1, and the HOLD LED in the manager panel. I can include the replacement leds in the sale. Unfortunately, there are no replacement options available for the back light on the display. The ELP can be replaced, but it is very very risky. Again, we decided to leave it alone.

The hydrolics that hold up the back panel fail all of the time. I just replaced them last week. Also, a new pair is included in the sale.

The original disk drive has been replaced with a 16GB USB drive.

The internal battery was replaced last week and the operating system was updated to OS 1.910. More info can be found here about the new OS:

unofficial.waldorf-wave.de/

I went through the entire self test menu. All buttons, sliders, and potentiometers are working perfectly without glitches or data skips. All potentiometers move smoothly and feel fresh. You can see from the pictures that all of the self tests came back OK. You can also see that 32 voices have been installed and are working perfectly."

Note the last image of the display below shows Board 3 not installed and a Failed message. I'm guessing that's one of the slave boards that would bring it up to 48 voices, referenced here.

Restored Vintage ARP Quadra Synthesizer Keyboard with MIDI

Note: Auction links are affiliate links for which the site may be compensated.
video by Synth Chaser

via this auction

"This ARP Quadra has just been professionally overhauled by Synthchaser, the foremost expert on ARP Quadras! Work done included new orange LED sliders (illumination can be disabled before shipping at buyer's request), recap of all tantalum and electrolytic capacitors, new touch sensor, keyboard refurbishment, new IC chips, reliability enhancements, and perhaps most unique of all... this may be the world's first ARP Quadra with MIDI!

While many synths are listed as "serviced" or "fully serviced", they are usually devoid of any details of what was actually done. Those that do provide details or service invoices often reveal that the synth was merely superficially serviced, and not genuinely "future-proofed". I have not only serviced this Quadra, I've taken it down to the chassis and overhauled it. Work done included:

Korg Opsix - Sensitive FM Keys Presets (Demo/No Talking)

video by Anton Anru

"Welcome to the soundset for Korg Opsix - Sensitive Keys.
It is a collection of 50 beautiful keys presets: pianos, plucks, mallets, bells, stabs, synths, organs, brasses, clavinets, and others. This bank of presets will give you a wide palette of sounds: gentle and rough, dry and wet, acoustic-like and electronic, soft and clicky, short and sustained.

🔔 Get "Sensitive Keys" soundset: https://bit.ly/36FBL3S

All the presets are very lively and expressive. Velocity controls envelope, tone, effects, etc. This gives an illusion of a real acoustic instrument articulation.
ModWheel adds new colors to each timbre. Movement: tremolo, vibrato, or filter modulation; brightness and power, new layers and effects; attack and decay behavior.

Opsix parts are composed and performed by Dmitry Chemyrev.
For some presets we chose a 5-octave midi keyboard to play parts with wider notes range.

Moog Subharmonicon Tutorial. Part 4. Pitch Modulation. Difference between VCO and VCO SUB inputs.

"The shortest episode of the series, and it demonstrates a curious thing: the difference between VCO and VCO SUB pitch modulation. One behaves regularly, while the other gives an unexpected result. And this effect is a nice tool to create entirely different timbres.

DIY Analog Synthesizer Demo

video by wuukaa

"🎹 It's my Монофоникс !

This analog synthesizer is my first big project, it still has lots of things yo work on (unstable tune, noise module, MIDI2CV, ...) I made all the PCBs(manufactured by JLCPCB) and the case myself, just have to work on the labelling of each pots, becausee it looks like a kids project lol :)

On this demo I used my trusty power supply to feed the volage in the CV input of the 2 VCO because my MIDI to CV board is reeeally bad (I suck at coding lol). So the gate signal was always on which makes the enveloppes completely useless in this setup but don't worry I'll try to fix that later on!

And if you can help me with the code of the MIDI to CV I'd be really greatful because mine is pure shi* :3"

Innovative Instruments: Vongon Paragraphs - a musical demo of this gorgeous modulation pedal!

video by Joel Negus

"I took the Vongon Paragraphs for a spin around my home studio with the Teenage Engineering OP-1, the Arturia Polybrute, and my 1977 Rhodes. Listen to how this beautiful instrument interacts!

0:00 Introduction
2:32 OP-1 w/ Paragraphs
3:42 Polybrute w/ Paragraphs
4:43 Rhodes w/ Paragraphs"

"Paragraphs is an analog four-pole resonant low pass filter with an attack, decay (AD) envelope generator designed with focus on simplicity and flexibility.

Low Pass Filter

The heart of the filter circuit is the AS3320 analog chip — a modern replica of the same component used in analog classics like the Sequential Prophet 5, Pro-One mono-synth, Elka Synthex, and the LinnDrum. Cutoff spans the full audio spectrum and resonance starts to self-oscillate at about seventy percent.
Modulation

The envelope generator offers modulations in an uncommonly wide range of frequencies — starting as low as 0.05 hz for slowly evolving 20 second long cycles, and reaching up to (and past) the audio threshold at 300 hz for a wave shaping effect similar to sounds found on west coast style synthesizers (“think Buchla”).
Flexible Gain Stages

Paragraphs accepts instrument and line level signals. Dedicated controls for input (drive) and output level make it easy to move between a crystal clear clean tone and and a clipping fuzz. A multi-color LED provides a visual representation of the signal level. Red indicates clipping. Orange flashes indicate the start of overload. Green indicates the presence of signal at or below the nominal level.
CV and MIDI

Inputs for Control Voltage (CV) and midi are available to remotely trigger the envelope generator. This enables your Paragraphs to stay in rhythmic synchronization with external systems like midi sequencers, euroracks, and digital audio workstations."

"The Black BBD is one of a kind analogue delay module - it features two BBD lines - short 1024 stage, and long 4096 stage that work simultaneously and you can smoothly fade between those two thus creating distinct multi-tap effect. Furthermore, an advanced BBD clock noise cancellation circuit is implemented that reduces unwanted BBD noise without filtering higher frequencies of the audio signal.
