"The J3PO Prophet 6 Patches Vol. 2 — for the DSI/Sequential Prophet 6 synthesizer.

There are 50 patches in this bank and they will load to patches 250-299 on your Prophet 6. The introductory sale price is $29 (normally $35).
The pack is a collection of 50 presets that loosely covers four areas: 1. Contemporary 2. Cinematic/Atmospheric 3. Vintage Funk/Fusion 4. Retro Pop/Synthwave. It’s been a couple of years since creating Vol. 1 (The J3PO Signature Prophet 6 Patches), and with the newly implemented “vintage knob” on the Prophet 6 and quite a bit more sound design experience under my belt, I felt like it was time to make a new pack for the instrument. I hope you enjoy these sounds as much as I enjoyed creating them!

"The original Korg M1 was the first 'workstation' ever, released in 1988. Many famous sounds have been made with this instrument and we have heard them everywhere in countless hit records over many years, especially in the late '80s and the early '90s! This synth really defined the sound of an era!
Now with the 'Korg Legacy Collection' we can have again the original sounds of the M1, with a very faithful software emulation that can bring this classic synthesizer "back to the future".
This plugin comes with 3,300 preset sounds, as well as the massive collection of the sounds from the 34 ROM cards and provides all the library of the original M1.
This software really replicates the M1 down to the last details and in this "no talking demo" I just mess around with some beautiful presets."

"Berna 2 was released in 2013 and it had a substantial improvement of the user interface. Meanwhile this early electronic music studio simulation become popular among schools and institutions of electronic music, among them the TUFTS University and the Royal College of Music of Stokholm. The primary goal of Berna had always been education and always will be.
Berna 3 tries to push the early electronic music studio simulation further, with more realism and details, and a new set of devices. All in all, Berna 3 will be an useful instrument both for students as well as for composers and producers who are interested in playing test equipment and historical devices."
Instruō Introduces Neóni Through-Zero FM Eurorack Module

FM with tonality! At its core, the Instruō neóni is a traditional analogue oscillator. What sets it apart from other oscillators in the Instruō product line is it’s Through-Zero FM functionality with AC and DC coupled operation. Add that to its precision soft sync and directional hard sync modes, nonlinear wavefolding, internal modulation routings, and you end up with the most tonal FM sounds imaginable.
Unlike traditional FM, where an oscillator momentarily stalls as negative voltage pulls its frequency down to 0 Hz, neóni inverts the polarity
of its waveforms until positive voltage pulls it back through 0 Hz.
This behavior allows for complex waveforms with less non-harmonic sidebands. Less clang, more bang!
Drop it all to subsonic territory for organic modulations of morphable voltage.

"Computone Wind Synthesizer-Driver, also known as a Lyricon. Made in the 70's in Norwell, Massachusetts. This unit is in great cosmetic condition as you can see. It turns on, and all the lights light up. I have no way of fully testing it, as it outputs control voltage and you must have a device that receives that (analog synthesizer, synth module, etc.). But it appears to be functional. The innards look super clean as well, with no leakage from any of the components.
It has many knobs and sliders for tailoring the sound before it reaches it's destination and is said to be one of the most expressive wind controllers ever made. There is a useful website dedicated to the Lyricon family of instruments, www.lyricon.com including info on how to contact David O'Brien, who has all the original schematics and parts to maintain these instruments.
It was owned by Hubert Waldner, an Austrian jazz and pop musician."

"Kawai K1 from 1988. A wonderful lo-fi digital synthesizer with lots of waveforms you can mix and match within 4 independent oscillators. By many referred to as a poor man's PPG or Prophet VS.

The main feature most seemed to be missing from the K1, was a traditional filter. There is no filter onboard. Kawai did remedy this with the K4 that came out a little later.
All of the music I've made in this video is coming directly out of the Kawai K1m you see in the video. Multitracked. All the songs and sound examples have been mixed and mastered. That means my complete mixing workflow, including plugin and outboard effects and analog summing. See my other mixing videos for details about the gear I use.
The patches are a mix of presets, customized presets and my own patches."
